Oasis fever swept through Cardiff at the weekend as the mega band reunited in their historic first gigs for 16 years. Liam and Noel Gallagher put on two unforgettable performances at the Principality Stadium on Friday and Saturday which have earned huge plaudits from fans and critics alike, with worldwide publications giving the concert five stars.
Away from the stadium itself, you couldn't walk through the streets without reminders of the gigs themselves, with wall murals, traders selling bucket hats and tambourines, pubs blasting out the greatest hits, and even an official store at St David's Shopping Centre.
And at the Tramshed, there was a special fan exhibition of some of the most iconic items and memorabilia that have defined the history of Oasis.
Among them was Noel's famous Union Jack epiphone sheraton electric guitar, which became a symbol of British music in the mid 1990s. It became particularly iconic after Noel played it at Oasis's gigs at Maine Road in 1996.
Liam's iconic Emporio Armani jacket worn in the 1995 Wonderwall video was there, as was his sheepskin coat worn at the 1996 Brit awards.

Also on display was Noel's epiphone riviera electric guitar, which he used in 1995, and early 1996, during the recording sessions of the (What's the Story) Morning Glory? album, and during the recording of Be Here Now. It featured in the videos of Don't Look Back in Anger, Champagne Supernova and Roll With It.
The original, handwritten lyrics were also on display in a glass cabinet from some of Oasis's greatest songs, including Don't Look Back In Anger, Stand By Me, and Champagne Supernova.

There was also a glass cabinet full of the band's awards that they won during their career, including a Brit award and the Q award for best act in the world.
Some of Liam's famous tambourines were on display in framed cases, as were band itineraries and programmes from previous tours.
Oasis next head home to Heaton Park in Manchester, where they will play five gigs from Friday, July 11. The exhibition will be set up there, and at the other locations of their gigs.

Tickets for the Oasis reunion sold out across all venues due to huge demand when they went online earlier in the year.
However, there are still several options available for fans trying to snag a last-minute spot. Limited last-minute tickets can be bought from the official Ticketmaster resale site, where fans who can no longer go sell their seats, although these tend to go into and out of stock quickly.

Elsewhere, resale sites like Viagogo, Vivid Seats, StubHub and Twickets are selling tickets for various dates with prices from £121, although fans should always bear in mind that many official sites, such as Ticketmaster and Live Nation, discourage the purchase of resale tickets.

A lot of my colleagues weren't even born in 1995 and were only dimly aware until the reunion was announced of who Oasis were. But they know who they are now, that's for damned sure, because they're the hottest ticket of the summer. There is considerable cachet in being able to say airily, 'What? Old Noel and Liam? Yeah, bagged them both back in the day. One-on-one sit-downs, face-to-face. None of your Zoom nonsense in those days, dear me no.' I tend to gloss over the fact that I had met Noel in 2001 and Liam in 2009 respectively, a few and many years past their (What's the Story) Morning Glory?/Knebworth/feud with Blur heyday.

Liam and Noel Gallagher finally reunited on stage at Cardiff's Principality Stadium as the first night of the long-awaited Oasis reunion tour left fans in tears. More than 75,000 fans watched history be made as Noel, 58, and Liam, 52, appeared for the first time on stage together in 16 years on Friday. The once-warring Gallagher brothers proved their years-long feud was well and truly behind them as they stepped out on stage hand-in-hand to kick off the show. Throughout their set, they wowed fans with a whole litany of their top hits, including Some Might Way, Morning Glory and, of course, Wonderwall. The thousands of fans packed into the stadium were overwhelmed by the momentous occasion as many were reduced to floods of tears, while celebrities including Danny Dyer, Vernon Kay and Rob Brydon also attended the epic night. In fact, the show was so popular that even more eager fans crammed outside the stadium in the Welsh capital in a bid to listen to the sought-after set list after failing to nab tickets themselves. The epic opening night certainly seemed to be worth the 16-year wait as concertgoers took to social media to laud Oasis for their 'amazing' and 'lifechanging' performance. Kicking off the show, Liam and Noel walked out with their arms around each other in a sweet display of unity, before they proudly gazed on at the crowds, who erupted into rounds of deafening applause. The Portuguese sportsman and his brother Andre, 26 - who played for Portuguese second division side Penafiel - both died on Thursday following a tragic car crash. His Lamborghini Huracan had a tyre blow out while overtaking another vehicle on the A-52 at Cernadilla near Zamora - just ten miles over the border from Portugal. The £180,000 car is said to have rolled and burst into flames, with emergency services unable to save the footballing duo. No other vehicles were involved, police have said. The siblings were heading to Santander to catch a ferry to Britain after Diogo was advised not to fly following lung surgery, it was reported in his home country.
