Disney Plus Marvel Series Likely Done After One Season
With a similar business model to other streaming services, Disney Plus has had to make some tough calls since the platform's launch, which has included several shows being axed prematurely or with the potential to be continued. Now one such Marvel series may be receiving this fate with only one season on Disney Plus.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe quickly branched out with a variety of shows on Disney Plus. Many of these shows were instrumental to the MCU, setting the stage for several of the franchise's biggest movies, but now the platform has been shifting their model.
While Marvel shows are still a priority for Disney Plus, it's led to quite a few alterations or cancellations for their projects.
As shared via Screen Rant, actor Aramis Knight opened up about the possibility of the Marvel series they were previously involved with potentially being finished:
'I don't think [it's happening],' he shared, referring to a second season of Ms. Marvel .
Ms. Marvel , the series revolving around the titular Marvel Comics character, was the Marvel Cinematic Universe debut of Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel. Her character was introduced to set the stage for her arrival in the feature film The Marvels , with the future being left open for another season of Ms. Marvel following the release of the flick.
With the 2022 series leading into a film that wasn't exactly a success for Marvel Studios, however, it makes sense that the studio wouldn't be eager to fund a second season of Ms. Marvel . Of course, that could always change with time, especially as Marvel Studios decides to potentially reintroduce the character for a future project like X-Men or Young Avengers now that she's been referred to as a mutant and potential candidate for a superhero team.
In the meantime, however, it looks like the Disney Plus series Ms. Marvel won't be getting a second season. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional MCU updates as we have them, including the possible return of Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel whether it's in Ms. Marvel or some other kind of project.

WWE Hall Of Famer Believes Evolution 2 Should Be A Two-Night Event
This past Monday Night on Raw, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella made her return to WWE. During her promo, she put over the return of the All Women's Premium Live Event, Evolution. This will be the second edition of the PLE. A WWE Hall of Famer recently mentioned that he believes that the Evolution 2 Premium Live Event should be a two-night event, and for good reason. Advertisement The above-mentioned WWE Hall of Famer is none other than Booker T. During the latest episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, he shared that since the women's rosters on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT are stacked, it makes perfect sense for the event to take place for two nights. 'It might have to be a two-night event because we got that much talent, the roster's stacked. I mean, it's got to be at least 20 matches,' Booker T said. 'I'm loving it, you know. I mean, like you said, we've been asking for this for a long time. I think the ladies deserve this.' [H/T He also mentioned that having an all-women's Premium Live Event does not mean that the guys are not as important. He sees this as an opportunity for WWE to show how strong it's women's division is. Advertisement 'I don't think it's taken away from the shine from the guys to let the ladies go out there and have that one night only,' he stated. 'I think it's only fitting for the talent that we have on that roster, just to show how big the women's division really is, from a star power perspective, as far as you know, how they could go out there and draw the house just like everybody else… It's not a contest between Raw and SmackDown, it's a contest between the men and women.'
