Chrissy Teigen's Daughter Luna Gets the Gold Medal in Adorableness as She Channels an Inspiring Olympian
Chrissy Teigen's daughter Luna took fangirl to a whole new level this week. The 8-year-old gave a stunning presentation of Olympian Gabby Douglas — complete with some impressive tumbling! — and if adorableness was a category, Luna would get the gold medal!
The Cravings author posted photos of her adorable daughter on Instagram, who she shares with husband John Legend, gushing about how proud of her daughter she is. 'So proud of our little toons and her biography presentation on (and as!) the incredible @gabbycvdouglas! 🤍' Teigen captioned the post.

Luna looks like the Olympic gold-medaling gymnast, complete with a Team USA leotard and a realistic-looking gold medal around her neck. She smiles next to her parents after the presentation, who are both dressed in black with proud looks on their faces as they hug their daughter. She also shared photos of Luna at her presentation table, complete with a book on the gymnast, fliers Luna made titled Biography of Gabby Douglas by Luna Stephens, little gold trophies, and a paper with a QR code printed on the table.
In the caption, Teigen explained, 'they even made QR codes linking to stop motion videos, I die. And I think of that amazing episode of parks and rec 😂'
Teigen also shared a video of Luna's presentation on her Instagram story, which she begins with some flips. Luna walks into a conference room, with red track pants over her leotard, and tumbles down the aisleway, ending in the splits as the crowd cheers.
Then she walks up to a microphone and introduces herself in a strong, clear voice. 'Hi! My name is Gabby Douglas,' she says. 'I'm the first African American woman to win the All-Around Olympic title.'
'So proud Luna!!!! @gabbycvdouglas,' Teigen wrote over the video.
Over the summer, Luna got to see the U.S. women's gymnastics team compete at the 2024 summer Olympics in Paris along with her parents and her brother Miles, 6. In an interview with PEOPLE before the event, the Chrissy & Dave Dine Out star said her kids were 'thrilled' to see the Olympics.
She added that Luna 'is so excited to watch gymnastics.'
'She's a gymnast herself,' Teigen continued, joking, 'but not anywhere near the caliber of Simone Biles yet.'

‘Siouxperspiel' attracts curlers from near and far
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The curling community has been buzzing as the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Curling in Sioux Falls draws closer. To help keep that excitement in the air, Sioux Falls Curling hosted a tournament this weekend. 32 teams made their way onto the ice this weekend for this year's 'Siouxperspiel.' 16 were from Sioux Falls, but the other half came from as far as Watertown, Aberdeen and central Minnesota. Eric Newhouse traveled from Omaha to participate for the second straight year. A summer staple frozen in time 'We had such a great time doing that, we thought we'd come back up and play. It's a fun club. There are great teams. The ice is terrific,' Newhouse said. Newhouse says the competition has been fierce. 'I think in general, the teams we faced are really, really good, especially the first one. Then you've got a couple of Olympic contenders sprinkled in there as well,' Newhouse said. The event, which curlers call a bonspiel, has also been good for the community. 'It brings people from outside of our community into Sioux Falls. We've had people going downtown to eat at our restaurants, going to The Falls, getting around Sioux Falls,' Sioux Falls Curling Vice President Jennifer Farke said. And the curlers who participated this weekend hope the sport continues to grow. 'Traditionally, most of your best curlers are going to be from Minnesota and Wisconsin. You don't see a lot of it in other parts of the country, but now, we've got a huge club down in Omaha. You've got a huge and growing club up here,' Newhouse said. 'I am super excited for this sport to grow and grow and grow because you can start at 11 years of age, and you can curl. There's a lady here curling; she's 86 years old, and I want to be her, and she plays pickleball, too. It's a sport anyone can play.' curler Kendra Gatz said. Team Workin from Fargo, North Dakota took home the championship. The Olympic Trials will take place at the Denny Sanford Premier Center from November 11-16. Court documents reveal that compounding amounts of debt may have been at the center of Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte's decision to call it quits on his marriage of seven years. Page Six reports that Lochte, 40, and ex Kayla Rae, 33—who announced their separation June 4—have racked up nearly $270,000 in debt over the course of their marriage. The couple owes around $99,000 in taxes to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for the years 2021 and 2022, and in December 2024, they were hit with a bill of $2,231.76 for 'unpaid' costs, 'late fees,' and 'attorney fees' on their home in Gainesville, Florida. Adding to that, the 12-time Olympic medalist reportedly owes $127,977.73 to the Shands Teaching Hospital and Clinic, where Lochte may have been treated for a November 2023 car accident, Page Six reported. The hospital added that a separate $39,720.15 was owed for a February 2024 visit. Reid filed for divorce from Lochte on March 26, according to court docs, Page Six reported. In a statement posted to Instagram, she said it was a 'hard decision' she made after 'deep prayer and reflection.' 'I hold marriage in the highest regard, so this has been one of the most painful, revealing, and challenging seasons of my life,' she said. Lochte followed with a statement of his own, saying he was 'deeply grateful for the life we've built together and especially for the love we share for our three children.' Lochte and Rae share son, Caiden Zane, 8, and daughters, Live Rae, 5, and Georgia June, 1, together.

Coco Gauff used words and a mirror to persuade herself she could win the French Open
