General Hospital Recap: Trina Throws Kai Out
On today's General Hospital recap:
Anna spots Emma and Vaughn at a bar and stops the two from heading out, insisting on getting to know him. Vaughn excuses himself and calls Josslyn for backup. Alone with Emma, Anna points out Vaughn's at least ten years older than her, but she feels she can date whoever she wants. Anna wonders if Emma is just using Vaughn to get into the PCU lab.
When Vaughn returns, Anna orders him to sit and talk, but Josslyn shows up, hot under the collar. Josslyn and Emma get into it over Vaughn until Anna puts a stop to it. Josslyn gives Vaughn a fake ultimatum, either her or Emma. Vaughn apologizes to Emma for using her, saying he and Josslyn are together.
Vaughn tells Josslyn they can't move forward if Anna is on to him and they need to sell their relationship. The two share a kiss while Anna and Emma look on in disgust.
Kai tells Trina everything that went down in Curtis' office, including how Drew paid Jacinda to disappear. He admits he was the one who told Drew what Curtis was planning. Trina gets angry with Kai who defends Drew. She says she doesn't trust him anymore and accuses him of betraying her family. Kai says he couldn't sit back and let someone be destroyed for something they didn't do. Trina says she will always pick family first and he's not part of that. Kai says he loves her, but she yells at him to get out.
Portia chastises Curtis for not going to the gallery exhibit and supporting Trina, but he says he was dealing with Drew's blackmail again. Curtis tells her Drew paid Jacinda to disappear, and Kai told Drew about their plan.
Portia is upset for Trina's sake and Curtis is worried how she'll react to finding out Kai betrayed them. Curtis brings up the blackmail again and admits he's not saving her but only Trina. Portia is hurt and storms out.
Portia joins Isaiah at the bar and complains about Jordan and the possible end of her marriage. He says she's a wonderful woman and if Curtis can't see that, then he's the problem. The two continue to drink together and get flirty.
Lulu complains to Laura about Brook Lynn and says, thanks to her, Rocco knows about Britt. Lulu says Brook Lynn did it to hurt her to cause maximum damage. Laura asks what Rocco needs, and Lulu says he needs to understand she and Dante are his parents and love him. Lulu feels Rocco is pulling away. Laura says it's normal and Rocco may have questions, but he ultimately knows how much Lulu loves him.
Laura talks to Rocco, who is still upset about him not being born if Britt hadn't stolen the embryo. He feels his parents didn't chose to have him. Laura reassures him that he was wanted, and they fought for him. Laura says he is their miracle and needs to remember that.
Tracy tells Chase there are issues with Brook Lynn, but he tells her not to bring him into whatever issues she's having with her granddaughter. Tracy says Brook Lynn holds Lulu responsible for the problems with Gio and is going after her. Tracy wonders if Chase believes Brook Lynn is justified.
Chase says Lulu crossed a line so Tracy questions whether he'll help Brook Lynn punish her. Chase is certain Brook Lynn doesn't have anything nefarious planned. Tracy says nothing good will come from the two women destroying each other and asks Chase to help stop it. Chase says he loves Brook Lynn and there is nothing she could do that would drive him away.
Michael finds Brook Lynn crying and she says things have actually gotten worse with Gio. Dante arrives on the warpath against her, saying she's dropped to a new low. Michael tries to defend Brook Lynn but Dante's not having it. He accuses Brook Lynn of deliberately leaving the file for Rocco to find.
Brook Lynn swears she didn't deliberately leave the file for Rocco to find. Dante angrily says she did it to hurt Lulu and that it has to stop. Michael steps in again to defend Brook Lynn which she appreciates.
After Michael leaves, Brook Lynn swears she regrets hurting Rocco. She says she was angry and wanted to hurt Lulu but didn't mean for Rocco to see the file. She apologizes which he accepts. Dante says he knows she gave up Gio out of love and is certain he'll come to understand that.
Curtis meets with Michael to let him know about the article on Sonny possibly killing Natalia. Michael realizes Drew is behind everything and Curtis says he doesn't have any more moves to stop him. Michael tells Curtis to do what he has to do to protect his family.
Laura reassures Lulu that Rocco will be fine, while Rocco is writing an email to Liesl after finding her online.
(*Was Rocco dropped once too often on his head as a baby? Does he not understand how surrogacy works and Liesl isn't and never was his grandmother? I feel like he's old enough to understand and not be this stupid*)

Carlos Alcaraz Does Not Have a Wife at Wimbledon
Carlos Alcaraz Does Not Have a Wife at Wimbledon originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Girlfriend? Wife? Not even close. Carlos Alcaraz may be smashing his way through Wimbledon, but his love life isn't following like usual. Advertisement The 22-year-old Spanish star is set to face Jannik Sinner in the Wimbledon final today, but off the court, fans seem just as invested in his relationship status as they are in his forehand. With Emma Raducanu spotted in the stands during one of his matches, rumors flew faster than an Alcaraz return. Many wondered, are they dating? Alcaraz answered that question himself. 'No, I am single,' he told The Times in June 2024. 'I am looking for someone. It can be difficult as a tennis player to meet the right person because you are travelling all the time.' Fans of tennis star Carlos Alcaraz are clearly invested on the status of his lovelife.© Susan Mullane-Imagn Images Raducanu also addressed the buzz. In a conversation with the BBC, she laughed off the gossip. 'Glad the internet is having fun and we're providing some entertainment for everyone,' she said. Advertisement The two go way back, according to Raducanu. 'We both started getting to know each other when I had that little run at Wimbledon and he had the five set [match] in the first round in 2021,' she told 'Ever since we've stayed in touch.' So no, he's not married. And no, Emma's not his girlfriend. Alcaraz has made it clear, he's married to the game for now. As the timing isn't exactly ideal for him to commit himself. As he steps onto the court today to chase his third Wimbledon title, his heart belongs to tennis. The only match he's locked into right now? The one against Sinner. ‘Dexter' Has ‘Probably Done a Number on Me,' Says Michael C. Hall: ‘I'm Not Crazy, I Know I'm Not Him'
Dexter Morgan is back, officially, now that Paramount+ with Showtime dropped the first episode of 'Dexter: Resurrection' on Friday, July 11. IndieWire's Ben Travers gave the series cautiously positive marks, writing, 'Dexter's new lease on life may actually be worth waking the dead.' New episodes will continue weekly through September 5. Michael C. Hall has been playing Dexter now, off and on, since 2006. While Hall has certainly appeared in numerous other projects in the 19 years since the pilot aired — from 'The Crown' to 'Safe' and 'Game Night' — the 'Dark Passenger' (Dexter's nickname for his thirst to kill) has been character he just can't shake, though he assured Vanity Fair in an interview that leaves Dexter's unsavory qualities on set. More from IndieWire John Goodman Doesn't Speak to Roseanne Anymore: 'I'd Rather Doubt If She Wants to Talk to Me' Lena Dunham's 'Too Much': A Guide to All Those Cameos - and Each Wink to Her Own Celebrity Lore 'Thankfully, I'm not predisposed to act on the kind of compulsions that Dexter's afflicted by — but yeah, I mean, certainly when we finish shooting a season, I need some time to just put it away, if nothing else,' he explained. 'It's just his life is so stressful. I could never live a life this fraught with stress. I mean, I guess everybody's life is stressful, but Dexter's is sort of beyond.' Hall does speculate, though, on why he is able to play the character, for which he has received six Emmy nominations, so well. 'I'm not crazy; I know I'm not him. I know he doesn't actually exist. He's just words on a page, and a character, and an idea that remains a mysterious one for me. I don't feel that I necessarily have any more of a hold on the character than I ever did. I intuitively know how to play him, but I don't know — he's probably done a number on me that I couldn't even tell you about because the lines are so blurred. But I don't think I'm him, thankfully,' he said. Asked by Vanity Fair what his 'Dark Passenger' was, Hall responded, 'None of your business.' Hall also described the new season — which moves the action from Los Angeles to New York City — as an opportunity for the character to have 'a second chance at life,' saying that Dexter has 'been finally released from what's been a burdensome relationship to his past.' John Goodman Doesn't Speak to Roseanne Anymore: ‘I'd Rather Doubt If She Wants to Talk to Me'
It's been just over seven years since Roseanne Barr was fired from her self-titled series' successful relaunch following a racist tweet about former President Barack Obama's adviser Valerie Jarrett… which she infamously blamed on 'Ambien tweeting.' It has, perhaps not coincidentally, been about the same amount of time since 'Smurfs' star John Goodman has spoken to his sitcom wife. 'I'd rather doubt if she wants to talk to me,' he told The Hollywood Reporter. 'We haven't talked for about seven or eight years.' More from IndieWire 'Dexter' Has 'Probably Done a Number on Me,' Says Michael C. Hall: 'I'm Not Crazy, I Know I'm Not Him' Lena Dunham's 'Too Much': A Guide to All Those Cameos - and Each Wink to Her Own Celebrity Lore Goodman, of course, went on to anchor the spinoff 'The Conners,' which garnered consistently positive reviews, lasted seven seasons and 112 episodes without Barr, whose 'Roseanne' character was killed off. 'I didn't think [the 'Roseanne' reboot] was going to go beyond the initial five or six episodes,' Goodman said. 'I thought it'd be a one-off thing, and then we got picked up, and Roseanne got fired. I thought that was it, and as soon as they dismissed the cast, I picked up 'Righteous Gemstones.' Then we got to do the show again as 'The Conners.' I didn't know how long it would last, but I sure enjoyed it while I was there.' In an expression of his goodwill to the fans, 'The Conners' ended in April with a scene of Goodman alone, breaking the fourth wall and saying 'Good night' while sitting on the show's iconic couch. 'I wanted to do it, and they let me, and they kept it. I thought it was just us saying, 'Good night, folks. Thank you,'' he explained. Goodman's career remains busy as ever. In addition to voicing Papa Smurf in the upcoming animated 'Smurfs' film, out July 18, he's also recently lent his voice to series like 'The Freak Brothers' and 'Monsters at Work' (reprising Sulley from 'Monsters, Inc.'). His HBO series 'The Righteous Gemstones' aired its final episode in May, and he's set to appear in the next Alejandro González Iñárritu film alongside Tom Cruise and Sandra Hüller, due for release in October 2026. 'There are a lot of funny moments in it,' Goodman said, describing the yet-untitled comedy. 'Tom is a force of nature, and it's fun to just hang on and see what he's going to do. He's a 63-year-old professional athlete and artist. He's got the drive and the energy, and I wish I had half of it.'
