Katie replied: "That is a very good question, so obviously I've had lot of therapy because I've had trauma in my life.

BPerfect pauses sales of cleanser from Annalivia Hynds collection following concerns

BPerfect Cosmetics has paused the sale of a new skincare product less than a week after its launch, following some customer complaints on social media. The founder and CEO of the beauty brand Brendan McDowell posted to Instagram on Monday, confirming that sales of the brand's cleanser, which is part of its 'Annalivia' collection with influencer Annalivia Hynds, had been paused. The 'BPerfect x Annalivia' collection was launched on July 23, a bespoke collection which Hynds said fits with her lifestyle as a busy mother of three. Customers rushed to get their hands on the popular TikTok star's collection after its launch, but excitement for the collection turned to concern for some as videos appeared on social media claiming breakouts and rashes appeared on some people's faces after using the products. One TikTok user who said she 'never breaks out' posted a video showing a breakout on her face after apparently using products from the collection. Another user posted a photo of his girlfriend's face, which he said had broken out in a 'severe rash' and that he said required 'immediate medical intervention'. People shared their concerns in online comment sections, with some saying their face felt 'on fire' as well as dry and sore. The 'BPerfect x Annalivia' collection was launched on July 23. McDowell has since addressed these concerns from customers, confirming that the sale of the collection's cleanser had been paused and that a full investigation with its skincare experts and labs will be launched. 'I've seen the feedback online with some of the reactions to the new Annalivia skincare range and I want to address it directly,' he said on his Instagram stories on Monday. After reviewing everything, we have identified that the cleanser is what is causing some of the sensitivity for a small amount of people. 'The rest of the range has received great feedback and the majority of customers have had no issues but we are not ignoring the few that have. 'Even though the cleanser has passed all the safety tests and meets industry standards, as a temporary precaution, we have paused all sales while we do a full investigation with our skincare experts and our labs.' He said that the brand values all feedback received and said it is 'important that we get this right'. 'We always recommend doing a patch test, guys, with all skin products as everybody's skin is completely different. What works for one person will not always work for the next,' he said. 'We take everybody's feedback really, really seriously and even though it's a small number at the moment compared to what we have sold, we have taken action straight away.' He advised those affected to get in contact with the BPerfect customer care team. BPerfect was launched by McDowell in 2012 and the brand is now stocked in over two thousand stockists throughout Ireland, Northern Ireland, the UK and worldwide. McDowell made an appearance on Ireland's Dragons' Den in March 2017, securing an offer from two Dragons, and went on to be nominated as Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year. BPerfect has been contacted for comment.

Ring begin search for Irish person to become voice of iconic video doorbell

Ring is in the hunt to find the first ever Irish voice of its Ring Video Doorbell. The smart home security company is launching a Voice of the Nation casting call across Ireland, kicking off in Cork in August. Ring will hold auditions across the country to find one lucky Irish person who will record a set of audio messages called Quick Replies, that will be available across all Ring Video Doorbells in Ireland early next year. Ring's Quick Replies act as an answering machine for your front door. Once activated in the Ring app, a visitor that rings the doorbell will hear a pre-selected greeting with the option to leave a message. Ring's Voice of the Nation, supported by radio presenter Carl Mullan, launches as new Ring research of 1,000 adults in Ireland reveals how beloved the Irish accent is across the country. More than half (55 per cent) of people in Ireland say they love their accent and wouldn't change it to anything else. People in Ireland can audition to become the Voice of the Nation in a number of ways, including in-person auditions in Cork, Galway and Dublin during August. Auditions are also open online – people can simply share a video of themselves saying a Ring Doorbell Quick Reply: 'We can't answer the door right now, but if you'd like to leave a message, you can do it now.' Auditions in Irish are also welcomed by saying the following phrase: 'Dia dhuit! Ní féidir linn an doras a oscailt faoi láthair, ach más mian leat teachtaireacht ghearr a fhágáil is féidir leat é sin a dhéanamh anois.' and post it on TikTok or Instagram, or share through their Ring device and Ring app. To enter, audition hopefuls need to tag Ring in their content and use #RingsVoiceoftheNation. The search for the Voice of the Nation in Ireland will be judged by a panel, including radio and TV broadcaster Carl Mullan, who will help select Ireland's voice. The search for the Voice of the Nation in Ireland will be judged by a panel Ring's Voice of the Nation Ireland pop-up auditions will visit: Mahon Point Shopping Centre (Cork), Saturday 2 August 10am – 7pm and Sunday 3 August 11am – 6pm (Lower Mall, beside Zara) Eyre Square Centre (Galway), Saturday 9 August 10am – 7pm and Sunday 10 August 11am – 6:30pm (Level 1, beside Penneys) Liffey Valley Shopping Centre (Dublin), Saturday 16 August 10am – 7pm and Sunday 17 August 11am – 7pm (Beside Penneys) It's the first time an Irish accent will be heard on Ring Video Doorbells, with Ring's research finding Cork (12 per cent) and Dublin (11 per cent) were the accents Irish people would most like to hear on smart devices. A quarter of Dubliners (24 per cent) would also prefer a Dublin accent on smart devices. Auditions will officially open from Saturday 2 August Carl Mullan said: 'The Irish accent is renowned all over the world and I'm buzzing to launch Ring's Irish Voice of the Nation to bring our lovely accent to devices across the country. There's something enchanting and melodic about our accents and I can't wait to hear what the people of Ireland come up with for their auditions.' Auditions will officially open from Saturday 2 August at 10am. Members of the public can share a video of their recorded audition on TikTok or Instagram by posting their clip with #RingsVoiceoftheNation and tagging @Ring alongside #RingsVoiceoftheNation. Irish people with a Ring device and Ring Protect subscription plan can enter by recording themselves filming their greeting on a Ring device, pressing the 'Share' button on the Ring app and choosing 'Share with Ring'.
