Lindsay Lohan is loving her 'normal' life in Dubai.
The actress revealed that stricter law regarding privacy is the primary reason she's chosen to live in Dubai, where she's experiencing a far different life than her days of being a tabloid fixture in Hollywood.
'It's just far away from Hollywood, and I live a very normal life,' Lohan said during her recent appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, per Page Six.
'There's no worry of, like, I can't go eat at this place 'cause someone's gonna take a picture of my son,' she continued. 'And it's just, I feel very safe.'

When host Kelly Ripa asked if there were photographers there, Lohan shocked her when she shared how strict the city is when it comes to taking pictures.
'No, it's not legal,' Lohan responded. 'You can't even take a picture of someone else if you're at a restaurant. You have to ask the person, which is a big difference from here.'
'What? That's incredible!' Ripa interjected with her mouth open in shock.
Lohan stressed, 'Yeah, privacy is key.'

The 39-year-old actress has been living in Dubai since 2014. She married her husband, financier Bader Shammas, in 2022. They welcomed their 2-year-old son, Luai, in 2023.
Lohan has had a complicated relationship with being in the spotlight.
'I could do 99 things right and one thing wrong, but it's that one thing that will be focused on,' she told Paper magazine in 2018.
'Behind the scenes, I do what I can to be the best version of me, which never gets mentioned,' she continued. 'I am also human. I make mistakes. That's all that seems to get reported.'

Lohan is currently promoting her new movie Freakier Friday, the highly anticipated sequel to 2003's Freaky Friday.
She reunited with Jamie Lee Curtis for the film — out August 8. Lohan recently told Page Six the game-changing advice she received from Curtis over 20 years ago.
'She said, 'How you show up on set is how the whole crew feels. You control the energy that goes on set, so always bring your best self,'' Lohan revealed.
'It's very full circle for me,' she also shared about returning for the sequel. 'And it was just a really exciting day when we were first there, all together.'

Original Naked Gun creator's swipe at reboot and star Liam Neeson: ‘Not a fresh idea'

Don't miss out on the headlines from New Movies. Followed categories will be added to My News. The director and co-writer of the original The Naked Gun film has taken a brutal swipe at the reboot and its star, Liam Neeson. David Zucker, along with his brother Jerry Zucker and Jim Abrahams, created the 1988 spoof comedy as well as the TV show that spawned it, Police Squad, but was not invited to join the team behind the new instalment. Instead, its co-written and directed by Saturday Night Live's Akiva Schaffer and produced by Family Guy's Seth Macfarlane. 'I don't plan on seeing it because, why would I?,' Zucker, 77, told the Daily Mail recently. 'I wrote a whole script for Naked Gun 4 on spec for Paramount. I understand the studio's thinking to go with Seth Macfarlane. He's a proven commodity and Liam Neeson is a big star, but it's not a fresh idea.' Never miss the latest entertainment news from Australia and around the world - download the app direct to your phone. Neeson has stepped into the lead role of the new reboot. Picture: Paramount Nielsen was the original Detective Frank Drebin. Picture: Paramount Zucker also claimed that Neeson was not the right fit for the beloved franchise he created. 'OJ [Simpson] … he didn't need to be funny,' he said. 'And even Leslie Nielsen doesn't need to be funny. He just had to be a B-movie actor. 'That's what we did … We didn't pretend to cast Laurence Olivier or even Al Pacino. But Liam Neeson, for example, he's like Oscar quality. I think he may have won for Schindler's List. So I mean, what's he making fun of?' According to Zucker, despite being shut out of the production, Macfarlane had eventually called him up personally. 'I had a conversation with Seth and he spent 10 minutes just telling me how he idolised Naked Gun, Airplane, Top Secret,' he said. 'How can you be mad at anybody who tells you how great you are? But it's not enough to be a fan … The guy at my dry cleaners is a big fan, but it doesn't mean he can do Naked Gun.' X Learn More SUBSCRIBER ONLY The new film in the beloved franchise sees Detective Frank Drebin's son, the equally bumbling Detective Frank Drebin Jr. (Neeson) caught up in a murder case, part of a broader sinister plot for mass destruction, which he must solve in order to prevent the police department from shutting down. Pamela Anderson co-stars as his love interest and investigative partner, Beth Davenport. Anderson co-stars as Beth Davenport. Picture: Paramount Just like those in the original franchise, the latest Naked Gun movie leans in to the most bonkers humour – and even co-writer Doug Mand admitted to that he was shocked they got most of the jokes over the line. 'I can't believe this movie got made,' he revealed at the UK premiere. 'You dream about writing something that's silly and fun and joyful and they're not making a lot of movies like this anymore. Every joke that's on screen [in The Naked Gun], I can't believe they shot it, and I can't believe they spent money on shooting it.' Zucker had a brutal verdict on the latest Naked Gun film. Picture: Geoff Ward. Neeson revealed to that he'd needed to be 'convinced' to go through with some of the movie's more 'outrageous' scenes. 'There were a couple of apprehensions, mainly to do with the script,' the Taken actor, 73, said. 'There were certain scenes that were too outrageous.' After voicing his concerns, however, he was eventually thoroughly 'convinced they would work' by the production team. The Naked Gun certainly shows off a whole new side of the actor, who's known for his intimidating and stoic on-screen presence. But his latest role is actually more aligned with his sense of humour, as Anderson, 58, told joking that he was inherently 'a silly little boy'. 'He's very funny. I think with most people, there are so many sides to them, and that's what makes them interesting.' She added: 'Playing it straight was very important to make this film work – we had to make sure we weren't trying to be funny. That we were in the relationship, and in the situation, and then the comedy came from the circumstances.' The Naked Gun is in cinemas from August 21. Tyra Banks makes shocking confession about ‘disgusting and erotic' addiction

Don't miss out on the headlines from TV. Followed categories will be added to My News. Tyra Banks knows how to pick 'em. The supermodel revealed her 'disgusting and erotic' habit of popping pimples and picking dirt from other people's toes during Thursday's episode of US show Today With Jenna & Friends. 'I like to pick. I like the toe, and if it has some stuff in it, I don't mind digging it out,' Banks, who is co-hosting this week, told Jenna Bush Hager. 'But I have a kit. You have to have a kit. Some alcohol, you know. Some stuff!' Banks shocked with her "disgusting" addiction. Picture: Supplied When Bush Hager asked who she targets with these rituals, the America's Next Top Model alum admitted that anyone in her household is fair game, reports Page Six. 'Anyone that wants it — my mum, my friends, my man, my son,' Banks confessed, referencing her beau, Louis Bélanger-Martin. 'And then, a pimple? If you had a pimple, I would be staring at you.' Banks labelled her 'addiction' as 'disgusting and erotic at the same time,' explaining, 'It touches those parts of me.' Banks at a tennis event during the Australian Open in January. Picture: Tennis Australia/ Fiona Hamilton However, the TV personality, 51, does have her limits. 'Nether regions. I'm not picking up in those,' Banks said. 'If somebody's like, 'Oh, can you check this?' I'm like, 'No … that's where I draw the line.' Chest up and knees down? It's on. I'm not popping and picking nothing [outside of] there.' The model further grossed out Bush Hager as she explained that her foot-focused obsession can get quite stinky at times. 'The toenail, because there's been stuff in there. The jam. The toe jam is up in the nail, and then you pick, and sometimes it's different colours. Sometimes it's brown, sometimes it's green,' she described. She's known for her glamorous appearance. Picture: Instagram. Banks has been romantically linked to Canadian businessman Bélanger-Martin since August 2018. In November 2019, we exclusively reported that the pair was taking the next step in their relationship by moving in together. 'Tyra and Louis live together but Louis always moves around a lot for business reasons,' an insider told us, adding that he and his ex-wife, Valérie Martin Scraire, have an apartment in England, a house in Barbados, and a home in Magog, Quebec. 'Louis also spends some time with his own child in England and around the world for business,' said the source. 'Tyra's child has his own room at Louis [and] Valerie's house in Magog and Tyra moved some of her stuff — clothes, jewellery — there too.' It's been revealed Magda Szubanski AO will be bestowed with the honour, making her just the fifth female recipient since the first ever awards back in 1984. Szubanski, 64, who has enjoyed a stellar four-decade showbiz career, will be presented with the award onstage at The Star in Sydney. The comedic entertainer, who was born in England but raised in Melbourne, first hit our screens in the '80s on sketch shows including The D-Generation, Fast Forward and Full Frontal, while also carving a career in film with roles in 1995's Babe and its subsequent sequel. Magda Szubanski AO is the 2025 Logies Hall of Fame inductee. Picture:But she's perhaps best known for her star turn in the 2000s comedy Kath & Kim, playing the loveable Sharon Strzelecki – a character previously debuted in 1994's Big Girl's Blouse with Gina Riley and Jane Turner. 'With a career spanning nearly four decades, the much-loved Magda Szubanski has helped define Australian comedy, creating some of the country's most beloved and enduring characters,' a statement from Logies organisers read. 'The TV WEEK Logie Award Hall of Fame recognises outstanding and continued contribution and enrichment to Australian television culture by an individual, a group of individuals, or a program. 'Magda's contribution to comedy, literature, activism, and Australia's cultural identity is profound and influential. This induction into the TV WEEK Logie Awards Hall of Fame celebrates not only a remarkable television career but also a lifetime of shaping hearts, headlines, and history, and giving audiences the gift of huge laughs.' Gina Riley, Jane Turner and Magda Szubanski first debuted their Kath & Kim characters in 'Big Girl's Blouse' in the '90s. Magda's Sharon Strzelecki remains one of the most prominent characters in Aussie pop culture. Szubanski was previously bestowed with an Order of Australia (AO) in 2019 'for distinguished service to the performing arts as an actor, comedian and writer, and as a campaigner for marriage equality.' The recognition comes amid a devastating time in Szubanski's personal life, with the star announcing her stage four cancer diagnosis in May. The beloved entertainer told fans in a social media post she was battling Mantle Cell Lymphoma, a rare and fast-moving blood cancer. Szubanski confirmed she had begun 'the Nordic protocol' … 'one of the best treatments available' for the disease that was randomly picked up during a recent breast screen. 'Hello, my lovelies. The head is shaved in anticipation of it all falling out in a couple of weeks,' she said at the time. 'I have just been diagnosed with a very rare, very aggressive lymphoma. 'It is one of the nasty ones unfortunately. 'The good thing is I'm surrounded by beautiful friends and family and an incredible medical support team. Honestly we have the best in the world here in Australia. 'It's pretty confronting. It is a full on one. But new treatments keep coming down the pipeline all the time … I've just got to (laughs). 'What do you? What are you gonna do?' The much-loved Aussie entertainer will be honoured at Sunday's Logies. Picture: LisaDuring the past decade, Szubanksi has increasingly opened up about her private battles. In her 2015 memoir Reckoning, Szubanski documented her complicated relationship with food and her sexuality, something she had guarded for decades before coming out in February 2012. She later admitted it was one of the scariest things she'd done in her life. In her social post this year, Szubanski signed off to her legion of fans with a request: 'If you do see me out and about – don't hug me, kiss me or breathe anywhere near me! Wave enthusiastically from a safe distance and know I love you madly.' The Logies will air Sunday night on Channel 7. Originally published as This year's Logie Awards Hall of Fame winner announced
