'Aweh is like the first date. The sounds and basslines within the first 30 seconds take you back. 'Aweh' also means 'hello' or 'what's up'.
'I wanted to capture that exciting moment when two people meet for the first time, especially in that '90s setting, being picked up from your mum's house, dressed up cutely, with Michael Jackson playing in the background,' she said.
In June, Cassper Nyovest heard the infectious song while on his Twitch livestream and told fans how much he liked it, giving props to Lordkez. He has since recorded his verse for the remix and did it live on the stream.

Unstoppable style: Giovanna Barbosa transforms football discipline into fashion power

From Coventry City FC's pitches to the global fashion scene, Giovanna Barbosa blends athletic discipline, legal smarts and creative flair into a boundary-breaking career. From the disciplined pitches of Coventry City FC to the high-gloss world of international fashion, Barbosa has fused athletic precision, legal acumen and creative daring into a career that defies convention. South African-born Giovanna Barbosa doesn't just break moulds - she reinvents them. As the visionary behind the bold 'Miss Unforgettable' campaign, she's proving that presence, authenticity and fearless storytelling aren't just qualities for the runway - they're a way of life. Barbosa is an international fashion model and creative director, celebrated for merging high-concept visuals with emotional storytelling. Her editorial work challenges traditional norms of beauty and femininity, crafting campaigns that prioritise authenticity, power and aesthetic depth. Yet, her journey to the creative spotlight was far from linear. Before fashion became her stage, Barbosa was a professional footballer for Coventry City FC. 'Football taught me discipline, resilience and the value of teamwork - qualities that are invaluable in modelling and creative work,' she explained. 'It also taught me to perform under pressure, to read situations quickly and to adapt. On a shoot or when directing a campaign, every second counts - just like on the field.' Transitioning from football to fashion and creative direction stemmed from a lifelong affinity for aesthetics. 'Even as a child, I was drawn to self-expression,' Barbosa said. 'After football, I wanted a career that allowed me to combine creativity, storytelling and impact. Modelling and creative direction gave me the freedom to explore those passions while challenging myself in entirely new ways.' Her academic background in law also informs her creative process. 'Studying law sharpened my analytical skills and attention to detail,' she noted. 'From contracts to project execution, I learned how to balance creative vision with practical implementation. Creativity without structure doesn't last.'

Next Stay Close ✕ The track, 'Spoonky', appears as track seven on Shekhinah's surprise album 'Less Trouble', which marks the end of her four-year album hiatus. On this project, Shekhinah delves deeper into her emotions, presenting her renewed clarity and unapologetic approach to her romantic needs. Despite the personal depth of the album, 'Less Trouble" is far from sombre. Shekhinah layers her signature vocal style with elements of pop, dance and Afrobeats, crafting a vibrant, melodic journey that signals a shift from dwelling on worries to embracing life on her own terms. The collaboration with Stunna adds an extra layer of energy and excitement to the project, bridging their respective musical styles seamlessly. For Stunna, the feature also comes as he prepares for the next chapter of his own career. He is set to release his second album, 'Busisiwe', following his debut project 'Notumato', which dropped in 2021. First announced in 2023 with lead single 'uNonkosi', the album has been highly anticipated, but Stunna has emphasised that he's taking his time to perfect it. ''Busisiwe' - it is just me saying thank you. 'Notumato' was just the beginning, okay, I am introducing myself. And then Pops said the second album doesn't have to be a pressure, I just want you to lead me." "He said we're going to take our time with this,' he explained to "SlikourOnLife", highlighting his commitment to delivering a project that truly reflects his artistry. While fans eagerly await the official release date of 'Busisiwe', one thing is certain: Stunna continues to prove that dedication, talent and staying true to one's dreams will always resonate in the music scene.
