EASTENDERS legend has broken her silence after being sensationally axed from the soap.
The actress, who has been on the Square for eight years, shared her emotional reaction with fans after her final scenes aired.

The fan favourite, played by Clair Norris, bowed out as Bernie Taylor in a heart-breaking twist after nearly a decade in Albert Square.
Her final scenes saw Bernie say an emotional goodbye to Walford, leaving fans gutted over her unexpected exit - and speculating over whether it's really the last we'll see of her.
The 27-year-old joined her fellow castmates at this year's British Soap Awards - where the EastEnders won a total of 8 awards.
This included wins for Best British Soap, Best Single Episode and Scene of the Year for Angie Watts' surprise return.
Glammed up in a gorgeous teal dress, Clair posted a photos of herself on the red carpet on Instagram.
She wrote in the caption: "My last @thebritishsoapawards with my EE family. We [broom emoji] up last night, 8 awards & I couldn't be prouder to be apart of this team! What a way to end this amazing journey, head held high & beaming from ear to ear."
Clair was supported by both fans as colleagues in her post, with James Farrar, who plays Zack Hudson writing: "Head held HIGH".
Emma Barton, who plays Honey Mitchell, commented: "Love you".
And Elijah Holloway, who plays Harry Mitchell, said: "We looked lovely didn't we."
The BBC soap has been going through a transition stage with new producer Ben Wadey taking over.

The Sun revealed the beloved character's exit back in May.
However, it didn't come as a surprise to star Clair as she said: "Every time a soap gets a new boss they want to make their own changes - it's nothing personal.
"The writing has been on the wall for Bernie for some time so it wasn't really a surprise to Clair.
'She was the last Taylor standing and it's time to close the chapter on them and let Clair go on to do other things.'

Bernie first arrived in Walford in 2017 alongside mum Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) and brother Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
However, she's the last one of her family members left on the Square with her mum Karen leaving EastEnders in 2023, shortly followed by the murder of her brother Keanu on Christmas Day.
While the Taylors are be gone, the Branning family is getting a boost.
Actor Jake Wood is returning to the show as Max Branning after a four year absence.
And he won't be returning alone.
The BBC soap is set to begin rebuilding one of its main families with the Brannings to take centre stage once more.
Max's comeback will also see his son Oscar arrive in Walford for the first time since 2017 - and he's being played by a brand new recast.
Actor Pierre Moullier will play the now teenage Oscar taking over the role from Charlee Hall who last appeared in eight years ago.
A source said: 'It is an exceptional bout of casting - Pierre looks more like a younger Jake than Jake did himself. It's uncanny.
'He's going to bring something new to Oscar and the character will definitely set the cat amongst the pigeons in the Square.'

It was an emotional night at the British Soap Awards as Amelia Flanagan and her brother broke down in tears during the Best Young Performer Award Emmerdale star Amelia Flanagan was seen in tears when she accepted the award for Best Young Performer at the British Soap Awards 2025. The 16-year-old, who plays April Windsor in the ITV soap won the award for her portrayal of the character, who is the half-sister of Leo Goskirk and daughter of police officer Donna Windsor and chef Marlon Dingle. However, Emmerdale star Amelia wasn't the only member of her family to be nominated for the award. Her brother, William Flanagan was also nominated for his portrayal of Joseph Winter-Brown on Coronation Street. There was no sibling rivalry between the two however, as they engaged in an adorable moment as Amelia accepted her award. In an emotional moment, Amelia sobbed as she took to the stage, paying tribute to her brother in her speech. The star and her brother broke down in tears as her name was announced, with William giving his older sister a standing ovation. Starting her speech, Amelia, 16, paid tribute to her brother. "This means everything. I just want to say, my little brother," as the audience erupted into cheers. "Who I love so much," she continued. Amelia went on to thank everyone at Emmerdale, before concluding with tears in her eyes: "Thank you so much, this means the world to me." Amelia's win came after she took centre stage in a harrowing storyline earlier this year when she ran away from home after falling pregnant. April sadly suffered the loss of her baby daughter in a stillbirth, and has since been struggling to adjust to life back in the village. Over in the cobbles, William's nomination came after a difficult time for Joseph. Last year, the character fell ill, and most recently, we've seen the character left guilt-stricken, after he pranked the emergency services. The family affair doesn't stop there, as William and Amelia's sister Isabella Flanagan is also a soap star, starring as Hope Stape alongside Joseph in Coronation Street. In the soap, Joseph and Hope's prank meant the ambulance could not get to injured Mason Radcliffe in time after a stabbing. Mason later died from his injuries, and Joseph was horrified and tried to report himself to the police. Amelia and William were nominated in the category alongside EastEnders star Sonny Kendall who plays Tommy Moon, and Hollyoaks star Noah Holdsworth who plays Oscar Osborne.

BBC The One Show paused as Alex Jones pays emotional tribute to 'friend'
The One Show host Alex Jones paid tribute to a friend at the start of Thursday's show The One Show host Alex Jones has delivered a heartfelt homage to a "friend" one year after their tragic death. During tonight's (June 5) episode of the popular BBC show, Alex and her colleague Roman Kemp delved into the day's top stories from the UK and beyond. The presenting duo also chatted with Clare Balding about an exciting summer for women's sports, and caught up with Michael Sheen and Downton Abbey's Hugh Bonneville and Tom Cullen, who are joining forces again for the BBC drama The Gold. At the start of the episode, Alex shared a touching tribute to Dr Michael Mosley, who died at the age of 67 after going missing while on holiday on the Greek island of Symi last June. "It's been a year since our friend Dr Michael Mosley sadly died. He had a long history with this show and one of his sons, who's also a doctor, shared with us how he hopes to continue his father's legacy," she remarked, reports the Express. A special segment was then aired, with Michael's son, Dr Jack Mosley, explaining how he planned to follow in his father's footsteps. "My dad was so passionate about healthy living, and his infectious enthusiasm was part of what made him so popular," Jack reflected. Discussing the aftermath of his father's death, Jack continued: "It was such a sudden thing when dad did pass away. It has been difficult for my siblings and I, my mum. The only positive I can think to come out of it is it has brought us closer together as a family, and that's something that he would have liked to see." Michael's spouse Clare, also a medic by profession, conveyed how the outpouring of public sympathy has provided her immense solace during this hard time. She then took cameras into the cupboard where Michael used to record his podcast, Just One Thing, and revealed that she "can't quite bring herself" to take down the podcast's poster. Now, Jack has written a book on weight loss medication and food nutrition, called Food Noise. He has worked closely with his mum, who has created over 50 healthy recipes for the book. Jack concluded: "To continue on some of these really important messages about healthy eating and lifestyle changes is something that was very important to my dad. I do want to continue that mission." Back in the BBC studio, Alex reflected: "It's hard to believe it's been a year... Our thoughts, of course, are with the whole family at this time." Beyond his podcast, Michael gained recognition for his roles in several health-focused TV programmes, including Trust Me, I'm A Doctor, The Truth about Exercise, and Lose a Stone in 21 Days.

Eagle-eyed viewers spot West Lothian building used as backdrop in BBC series

More info A West Lothian building was used as a backdrop in a hit BBC series. The Bombing of PanAm 103, which concluded earlier this week, told the story of the flight which exploded over Lockerbie on December 21, 1988. It was the worst terror attack to ever happen on British soil, and 270 people were killed - reports the West Lothian Courier. The programme was made by World Productions as part of a collaboration between the BBC and Netflix. A lot of filming has taken place in West Lothian and eagle-eyed viewers may have spotted the Civic Centre which was used as one of the main locations for filming. Emmy award winner, Merritt Wever (New Girl, Nurse Jackie), Patrick J. Adams (from Suits - the most watched series on Netflix in 2023) and Connor Swindells of Barbie fame were all located here for a short while to undertake filming.
