Gwyneth Paltrow supports son Moses as he follows in Chris Martin's footsteps

The youngest child of a well-known musician and his acting ex-wife is following in the footsteps of his father by being in a band, who performed at a gig in the US this week The son of a well-known musician is now following in their footsteps by their pursuing a career in music. They took to the stage with their band at a concert earlier this week and their Oscar-winning mother was there for support. ‌ Moses Martin, 19, is the youngest child of Coldplay 's Chris Martin, 48, and actor Gwyneth Paltrow, 52. The exes, who split in 2014 before getting divorce, but who have remained on good terms, are also parents to Apple Martin, 21. ‌ Like his father, Moses is a member of a band, with him one third of trio Dancer. His group performed at a concert in Chicago recently whilst supporting another band. It comes after Chris issued a warning to his own fans during his first gig with Coldplay since a kiss cam scandal earlier this month. ‌ Moses' band Dancer took to the stage at the Thalia Hall in Chicago last night. Alongside his bandmates Orlando and Andy, he opened for duo Royel Otis - who are due to perform at Reading Festival and Leeds Festival soon - at the venue. Prior to the gig, Dancer posted about their appearance on platforms like Instagram. Alongside a video of the trio performing together whilst sat on the back of a truck, they shared details of the gig with their followers. ‌ "I love this band," one person reacted to the post. Another wrote in the comments section: "Amazing." Someone else responded to the band's post: "See ya there." Someone else asked: "How can I listen to your songs???" Dancer teased over potential music being released soon, with the band's account replying: "Soon." ‌ Gwyneth liked the post and shared her excitement over the upcoming gig in the comments section. Teasing that she would be there to support her son, she wrote: "Can't wait." She later revealed that she was at the show in a post on her own account on the platform. The actor uploaded a photo that was seemingly taken backstage at the venue last night. It showed three microphone kits, each with a band member's name on, and Gwyneth didn't provide any caption. More recently, in a post uploaded to her Instagram Story earlier today, she shared a photo of the band on stage. ‌ Gwyneth shared her pride over Moses being a musician in a tribute for his birthday on the platform back in April. She wrote at the time: "Happy birthday [Moses]. Honestly, you are a dream come true. You are deeply kind and brilliant." She continued by writing to him: "You have an incredible intellect and you are so gifted, so talented. I listen to your music on repeat and miss you so much at college. And today more than ever. I love you my boy."

Justin Trudeau takes major step in Katy Perry ‘romance' with concert date

In a pairing no one saw coming but everyone is now watching, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been spotted attending Katy Perry's Montreal concert. The gig comes just days after the two were filmed dining together at a high-end local restaurant. The sighting has reignited speculation about the nature of their relationship, turning a political retirement into something far splashier. Social media erupted late Tuesday night as concertgoers at Perry's July 30 show shared footage of Trudeau, 53, in the audience at the Bell Centre. He wasn't alone, as his 16-year-old daughter Ella-Grace was at his side, beaming as the pop star powered through her chart-topping setlist. But it wasn't just a father-daughter night out that got people talking. Eyewitness videos appear to show Trudeau visibly enjoying Perry's performance, mouthing lyrics to Dark Horse and watching her acrobatic stage routine with wide-eyed admiration. One clip shows him momentarily frozen as Perry strikes a pose mid-song, a soft grin possibly betraying more than casual appreciation. The concert appearance follows closely on the heels of the much buzzed-about dinner between Trudeau and Perry at Le Violon, an upscale French restaurant in downtown Montreal. The two were filmed together on July 28 in a moment that has since gone viral, fueling wild speculation and a flurry of memes. Adding fuel to the fire is the fact that both Trudeau and Perry are recently single. Trudeau announced his separation from Sophie Grégoire in 2023, while Perry reportedly split from longtime partner Orlando Bloom earlier this summer. Though there has been no official comment from either camp, the timing and visibility of their outings have left fans and media alike leaning in with curiosity. More Trending While some observers are dismissing the events as coincidental or simply a high-profile friendship, others have been quick to project something more. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Critics, however, have pointed to the spectacle as a calculated rebranding effort for both parties – Perry, 40, shifting her public image post-Orlando, and Trudeau stepping further into post-political life with a dose of celebrity glamour. But if that's the case, it's working. The internet hasn't stopped talking since the sightings emerged. For now, it remains to be seen whether this is a flirtation, a friendship, or just a fascinating coincidence. Got a story? Trump tearing down parts of White House to build £150,000,000 ballroom

President Donald Trump has unveiled his plans to build a $200,000 ballroom at the White House that will be part of his 'legacy'. Trump, who rose to fame as a real estate developer, has been wanting to construct the ballroom since his first term, but said he got too busy 'fighting for survival with all the lunatics I had to beat'. 'There was never a president that was good at ballrooms. I'm really good,' the president said on Thursday, adding he had just looked at an 'incredible' one he built in Turnberry, Scotland. 'We're good at building, I'm good at building things. And we'll get it built quickly and on time and it'll be beautiful, top of the line.' To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video The White House State Ballroom will be about 90,000 square feet and have a seated capacity of 650 people. The East Room of the White House, by comparison, can only accommodate 200 seats. Many functions hosting world leaders have been held in a 'large and unsightly' tent about 100 yards away from the main building entrance, according to the White House. Presidents, administrations and staff have 'longed' for a ballroom for 150 years. The new ballroom will be separate from the main executive building but share its architectural theme. It will be 'where the small, heavily changed, and reconstructed East Wing currently sits', according to the White House. Renderings of the project show a grand, cream-colored interior with crystal and gold chandeliers, gold-adorned ceilings, gold lamps, Corinthian columns and a marble floor. 'President Trump is a builder at heart and has an extraordinary eye for detail,' said White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, reading from a statement from chief of staff Susie Wiles. The ballroom will have a view of the Washington Monument, Trump said. 'It won't interfere with the current building, it'll be near it but not touching it, and pays total respect to the existing building which I'm the biggest fan of, its my favorite place, I love it,' he said. Trump picked McCrery Architect, which specializes in classical architectural design and is based in Washington, DC, to lead the project. The firm's CEO, Jim McCrery, stated that they will bring a 'beautiful and necessary renovation to The People's House, while preserving the elegance of its classical design and historical importance'. More Trending Renovations are set to begin in September and the ballroom is expected to be completed before the end of Trump's term. The offices of First Lady Melania Trump, the military and other staff in the East Wing will be relocated as the work is underway. Trump said he is privately funding the project and will likely have some donors. 'I think it will be a legacy project,' he said, 'And I think it'll be special.'
