New Trump portrait ends decades-long tradition

The White House has unveiled a new presidential portrait of Donald Trump, using a knock-off version of the Austin Powers movie theme for the reveal video on X. The new portrait replaces the one introduced earlier this year and features a stern-looking Trump in a navy suit and red tie against a dark backdrop, utilizing high contrast and dark shadows. This portrait is the first since Richard Nixon's in 1969 not to feature an American flag in the background, differing from Trump's first-term portrait, which showed him smiling in front of an American flag. The new portrait has been updated on the White House website and Trump's Facebook account and is hung in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. The expression in Trump's new portrait is similar to his Georgia mug shot from two years ago, which his supporters used to depict him standing up against what they viewed as the deep state.

Deborra-Lee Furness 'planning explosive tell-all book after bitter split from Hugh Jackman' - and it could expose everything from heartbreak to Hugh's new romance

Deborra-Lee Furness is reportedly planning to release a no-holds-barred 'divorce diary' detailing her painful split from Hugh Jackman and the heartbreak that followed. The Australian actress, 69, is currently documenting her emotional roller-coaster journey, with plans to publish the memoir once her divorce from the Wolverine star is legally finalised, according to New Idea. 'Deb's been desperate to have her side of the story out there,' an alleged source told the outlet. 'She's been writing down all her thoughts, the good and the bad, and logging every detail of this ugly roller-coaster divorce. As soon as her lawyers allow it, she will be talking to publishers about a deal.' The revelations come just weeks after Deb filed official divorce papers, ending her 27-year marriage to Hugh, 55, and issuing a powerful public statement where she spoke of her 'traumatic journey of betrayal'. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. It comes after Hugh was spotted in public for the first time since Deborra-Lee opened up about her feelings of 'betrayal' in a blistering statement to the Daily Mail. Hugh and Deborra-Lee's split appeared to turn bitter when she spoke about her 'traumatic journey of betrayal' in the wake of her divorce filing last month. 'My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal,' she said. 'It's a profound wound that cuts deep, however I believe in a higher power and that God/the universe, whatever you relate to as your guidance, is always working FOR us.' She continued: 'This belief has helped me navigate the breakdown of an almost three-decade marriage. 'I have gained much knowledge and wisdom through this experience. Even when we are presented with apparent adversity, it is leading us to our greatest good, our true purpose. 'It can hurt, but in the long run, returning to yourself and living within your own integrity, values and boundaries is liberation and freedom.' She concluded her statement with the 'one thing' she has learned, which is 'that none of this is personal.' Deb's emotional declaration signalled a turning point in what had largely been a quiet and dignified separation - until now. Sources claim that while Deb is remaining composed publicly, behind closed doors she's preparing to reclaim her narrative with a raw and honest memoir that could shine a spotlight on Jackman's new romance with Broadway star Sutton Foster. The New Idea insider added that the actress won't be holding back: 'She won't be silenced. This is her truth.' Meanwhile, tensions are said to be rising between Jackman and Foster, 50, as he pushes to integrate his new partner into the family unit he once shared with Deb. The Aussie actor is reportedly eager for Sutton to form a bond with his and Deborra-Lee's adopted children - Oscar, 25, and Ava, 19 - but the process hasn't been smooth. 'Sutton begged Hugh to stop forcing the situation,' a source claimed to New Idea, adding that the Broadway star is keen to delay any introductions until the divorce is officially settled. 'It was Oscar's birthday recently and Ava's is coming up in July and Hugh couldn't see an issue with wanting to include his other half,' the insider explained. 'But Sutton's anxious about rushing things and believes it's too soon.' Foster, who also shares an adopted daughter, Emily, 7, with ex-husband Ted Griffin, is said to be treading carefully, especially with the shadow of Deb's scathing comments still lingering. The cracks in the Jackman-Furness split were further exposed last week when Hugh was spotted out in public for the first time since Deb's explosive statement, fuelling rumours that the once amicable separation has turned bitter behind the scenes. If Deborra-Lee's book plans go ahead, it's likely to be one of the most anticipated celebrity memoirs in years - and with decades of Hollywood secrets, personal struggles, and a headline-grabbing split to unpack, publishers will no doubt be lining up. Hugh has yet to release his own statement on the split, but a source told the Daily Mail he had been left 'extremely disappointed' by Deborra-Lee's words as he believed they had an 'understanding' they would not publicly trash one another. 'There was no stipulation that she could not address this but there was an unwritten understanding that she would not trash him to the press,' an insider said. 'She got around this by not naming him - instead focusing on how she felt.'

Inside Hugh Jackman's lavish $21 million New York penthouse as he divvies up property portfolio with Deborra-Lee Furness amid divorce

is said to have retained his $21 million New York apartment amid his divorce from Deborra-Lee Furness. The actor, 56, split from Deborra, 69, in 2023 and they have been in negotiations on how best to divide their $387 million fortune - which includes a sprawling international property empire. Yet last week sources close to the pair claimed that the lengthy negotiation period was over and now all that was required is a judge's sign-off. As part of the alleged deal, Hugh is said to have kept hold of their minimalist penthouse apartment in New York City 's Chelsea district, which he and Deborra purchased for $21.1 million in August 2022. Since his estranged wife moved out, it's believed the X-Men star's new girlfriend, Broadway actress Sutton Foster, has been slowly moving her things in. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The 440sqm apartment is located in the penthouse of a quirky glass front building, designed by award-winning French architect Jean Nouvel, which boasts 57 units across 23 floors. The property features a light and airy open layout with four bedrooms centred around the communal living areas. It has floor-to-ceiling windows which stand over four metres and boasts 343sqm of outdoor space with a massive rooftop terrace overlooking the Hudson river. Other desirable features in the property include two fireplaces, a large master suite with numerous closets and a pristine all-white bathroom. Deborra and Hugh also own several luxury properties across the United States, England and Australia. Before they snapped up their Chelsea building, it was owned by Daniel Fischel, president of the global economic consulting company Compass Lexecon. While the property is undeniably impressive, it was a downsize for the estranged couple, who bought the apartment after moving out of a triplex in West Village. The 11,000-square-foot property was put on the market for a whopping $38.9 million. There is plenty of space for al fresco entertaining and views of the Manhattan skyline Last month, exclusively revealed that Deborra officially filed for divorce in New York on May 23, two years after they announced their separation. As per the filings, it was revealed everything had been ironed out behind the scenes. Other filings submitted by her lawyer included a notice concerning continuation of health care coverage, a proposed qualified medical child support order, a New York state case registry form (used to report child support orders to the state's registry), the settlement, a proposed judgment of divorce, and certificate of dissolution. All that needs to be done now is for the judge to sign off on the judgment. Deborra, who has two adopted children with the Wolverine actor, has received a 'handsome spousal support payment,' according to an insider, who said there will be no 'drama' as they terminate their 27-year marriage. 'A settlement was reached that Deborra is pleased with which includes a handsome spousal support payment,' a source told 'There was some back and forth regarding this financial agreement but, in the end, she got what she believed she deserved. Both are coming out of this financially secure. 'There is not going to be any drama with this gives closure that she needed.' A separate source said the divorce is 'non contested,' meaning there was not a major disagreement between the couple divorcing. 'They have worked out the details in advance and everything is ironed out in terms of a settlement, alimony and the expenses for the future of their children,' they said. 'They are amicable and they are both fully committed to being the best parents that they can be.' They added that Hugh, who is dating Broadway star Sutton and was seen walking hand-in-hand with her days before the filing, is 'looking forward to the future and not looking back.' In a statement sent to Deborra said, 'My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal. 'It's a profound wound that cuts deep, however I believe in a higher power and that God/the universe, whatever you relate to as your guidance, is always working FOR us.' Back in January, exclusively reported that the estranged spouses had yet to file as their decision to dismiss a prenup was proving to be a point of contention. Insiders at the time claimed that their split could get 'messy ' as they were struggling to divvy up their estimated $250 million fortune. 'One of the biggest reasons why they haven't yet filed is that they never had a prenup,' an insider close to Hugh said. 'When they got married, they thought it would be forever. Who doesn't? At the time, neither of them expected Hugh's career to get as enormous as it has.' The pair met back in 1995 on Australian TV show Correlli, when she was a major star, and he was enjoying his first role fresh out of drama school. They were married in Melbourne, Australia, in April 1996 before adopting their son Oscar, now 24, in 2000. Five years later they completed their family unit when they adopted daughter Ava, 19. Since tying the knot, Hugh has amassed an eye watering fortune, estimated to be hundreds of millions, thanks to his turn as Wolverine in Marvel's blockbuster comic book franchise.
