As per reports from Deadline, the actor passed away in his sleep on the night of May 27. The reason for his demise was not publicly revealed by the actor's representatives.

Peter Kwong was one of the most prolific actors in the industry. The actor, who was born on April 9, 1952, entered the realm of the entertainment industry in the 1970s after he played his debut role in shows like 'Wonder Woman' and 'Black Sheep Squadron' as an extra.
He continued to play smaller roles well into the 1980s with projects like 'Cagney & Lacey', 'Bret Maverick', 'The Greatest American Hero', 'Little House on the Prairie', 'Dynasty', 'The A-Team', 'Miami Vice', 'Matt Houston' and many more.
His big break, however, came on much later that helped establish his identity in the industry. He found his big break in 'Big Trouble in Little China' when he was cast as Rain, one of the Three Storms. The action-adventure film from 1986 also starred the likes of
Kurt Russell
and Kim Cattrall.

The Apollo 13 mission — Lovell's fourth spaceflight following Gemini VII, Gemini XII and Apollo 8 — launched on April 11, 1970, with the intention of a moon landing. But an oxygen tank exploded two days into the mission, disabling crucial electrical systems, reported Deadline. Supported by backup systems, Commander Lovell and his fellow astronauts Jack Swigert and Fred Haise successfully pulled off a dramatic return to Earth by looping around the Hanks also paid tribute to the astronaut by writing a heartfelt note. Taking to his Instagram handle, the actor wrote, 'There are people who dare, who dream and who lead others to the places we would not go on our own. Jim Lovell, who for a long while had gone farther into space and for longer than any other person of our planet, was that kind of guy."

Notably, while attending interviews during the film's press tours, Gunn often spoke about writing a new movie with Corenswet in it. The DC CEO, however, never revealed whether the mystery project would be a standalone Superman sequel or something else. But the announcement has finally been made public thanks to Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav. According to a report by Variety, David Zaslav, has confirmed that James Gunn would not only direct but also write the screenplay of 'the next installment in the Super-Family".
