Keith Urban exits interview after racy Nicole Kidman 'love scenes' question
The Grammy Award winner, 57, called into Mix 102.3's radio show "Hayley & Max in the Morning" via Zoom on Tuesday, July 1, to promote an August concert in the country. Midway through Urban was told by the hosts that they had a "very tricky" and "deeply personal question" for him during a segment on the show called "Wall of Truth."
Pearson, who said she was "uncomfortable" asking Urban the question, handed the interview over to Burford, who then asked the "Blue Ain't Your Color" crooner, "What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron, having these beautiful love scenes?"

Urban didn't answer the question and then the host said the singer's team "disconnected from Zoom" over frustrations with the questioning. USA TODAY reached out to reps for Urban for comment.
Last year, Kidman, 58, participated in on-screen intimate scenes with 37-year-old costar Efron in Netflix's "A Family Affair."
"I think his team hung up on us because they didn't want us to ask that question," a producer said. Then, Pearson said that "he doesn't like the personal stuff" and "he doesn't like talking about his wife" because "it's private."
Burford jokingly added, "Does Keith Urban hate us? Do we have beef with Keith Urban?" The hosts were not able to get Urban back on the line for the rest of the interview.
"I've had this feeling ... that they don't like these personal questions at all," Pearson added.
Urban and Kidman, who rank among Hollywood's longest and most recognizable couples, celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary last month. The partners are parents to daughters Sunday, 16, and Faith, 14.
The Academy Award-winning actress and fellow Aussie has spoken out about filming intimate scenes herself. She told The Sun last year that "there were times when we were shooting where I was like, 'I don't want to orgasm anymore.'" She was speaking about shooting buzzy 2024 movie "Babygirl," a psychosexual thriller, opposite younger costar Harris Dickinson, who is now 29.
"There was an enormous amount of sharing and trust and then frustration," Kidman said, adding that sometimes she felt like, "I hate doing this" in regard to intimate scenes.

‘Easygoing' Keith Urban ‘did not hang up' on Aussie radio hosts over racy Nicole Kidman question
Fans kept their eyes wide shut after Keith Urban's uncomfortable radio appearance Tuesday morning. However, it turns out that the country singer, 57, wasn't the one who hung up on Mix 102.3's 'Hayley & Max in the Morning' after they asked an intimate question about his wife, Nicole Kidman. A source told People that 'Keith did not hang up, period.' 10 Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban during the 82nd Annual Golden Globes. Penske Media via Getty Images 'He doesn't host his Zoom interviews. This is a complete nothingburger,' they added. The insider noted that Urban is 'very easygoing' and did not have an issue with the question at hand. 10 Hayley Pearson and Max Burford. Mix102.3 The interview seemed to be going well at first, with Urban in high spirits over playing at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on August 28, sharing it's 'just a good vibe in the audience.' Things then took a turn after hosts Hayley Pearson and Max Burford asked the Grammy winner to play the radio show's 'Wall of Truth' game. 'What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful love scenes on TV and radio?' Burford inquired. 10 Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman attend the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards. Getty Images 10 Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman. Kidman, 58, and Efron, 37, starred as love interests in Netflix's 2024 rom-com 'A Family Affair.' The actress played a widowed writer who starts dating a selfish actor (Efron). Nicole also starred as a CEO who has a love affair with her young intern, played by Harris Dickinson, 29, in the 2024 film 'Babygirl.' 'No, I think it would,' Urban answered, with Keller pushing, 'Yeah? Are you a believer in fate or do you think it's two Australians, it would have happened?' 'No idea,' Urban responded before stating, 'Anyway, moving on.' 10 Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman. I like not knowing where he's going to take me. Surprise me, baby!'

Keith Urban seemingly exits interview when pressed about Nicole Kidman's romantic scenes with younger men
Country music icon Keith Urban appeared to abruptly hang up on radio hosts during an interview after being asked a question about wife Nicole Kidman. During an appearance on an Australian radio show, the hosts introduced a segment called "Wall of Truth." One of the hosts explained to Urban that "I get really uncomfortable, to be honest, asking our beautiful guests something they might be uncomfortable [answering]." The first question referred to Kidman's 2024 film "A Family Affair": "What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful love scenes on TV?" However, the hosts were met with silence as Urban was disconnected from the virtual interview. "He's just disconnected from Zoom," another person chimed in. "I think his team hung up on us because they didn't want us to ask that question." One host speculated, "That's 100% what's just happened… Oh my God!" "I knew that would happen," she added. Another host argued that Urban had been "smiling" just before the disconnection, and she replied, "I know, but he doesn't like the personal stuff… We've upset him!" "He doesn't like talking about his wife," she suggested. The other host mentioned that he thought they were "vibing" with the country singer. "Does Keith Urban hate us? Do we have beef with Keith Urban?" he questioned. The Australian radio team mentioned they were reaching out to Urban's publicist but didn't receive an answer. A representative for Urban declined to comment on the situation to Fox News Digital. The abrupt interview exit comes after Kidman, 58, starred alongside Efron, 37, in the 2024 romantic comedy, "A Family Affair." "A surprising romance kicks off comic consequences for a young woman, her mother and her movie-star boss as they face the complications of love, sex and identity," the movie synopsis read. "A Family Affair" raised eyebrows for its age-gap romance and intimate love scenes between Kidman and Efron. This wasn't the first film that Kidman played a character that was romantically involved with a younger man. In December 2024, Kidman starred in an erotic thriller titled "Babygirl" playing a powerful CEO who had an affair with a younger intern, Harris Dickinson, 29. Kidman and Urban have been married since 2006 and share two daughters – Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
