A Christmas Market stall boasting a massive income has hit the market, with owners offering a rare opportunity to a lucky buyer.
The stall is for sale for a hefty price of £30,000, but the franchise stall earns a staggering £100,000 turnover in just eight weeks.
Wracking up £1,923 per week in two months, the ad promises that "investment [is] returned by end of year".
Since the stall is part of a cake franchise, the baked goods are supplied. The ad also promises the franchise "will help you with more events into 2025 and 2026".
The £30,000 price also includes the £17k of rent for Edinburgh for 2025.
The stall also comes fully fitted, in a "prime" location, and as an established business.
A Rightbiz listing read: "We have a pitch at the Edinburgh Christmas market which will yield close to 100k in sales in 8 weeks (it did this last year!)
"Meaning investment returned by end of year, plus lots of events for next year. The price is £30k but this includes the £17k of rent for Edinburgh this year
"Cakes are supplied to you, this is a franchise and they will help you with more events into 2025 and 2026, as many as you want! Please make your enquiry for additional info."

'I went to an Edinburgh Greggs for a £2.99 Too Good To Go bag and have thoughts'

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Ever since Too Good To Go began spreading across the UK, residents up and down the country have been asking if it's worth it. Now, we're here to have our verdict. Where better to test out the popular app than Greggs - a sure crowd pleaser. At only £2.99 (though the price does change depending on the restaurant or demand), nobody can say it isn't a bargain. Too Good To Go was founded in 2015 in Copenhagen, and was launched to prevent food waste from buffet restaurants. Now, the concept has gone global - with many chains and independent restaurants across the world opting in, to ensure their leftovers don't go in the bin. Using the app, users can reserve a bag - and are then given a time slot to collect it. We reserved our bag from the Greggs on the High Street in Portobello, and collected it just after 6.30pm. There was excitement in the air from the moment we had secured the bag - what would be inside? Would we be eating like royalty all week? We had heard through the grape vine that Greggs was the place to go for these bags. A friend had been handed over quite a spread - four sausage rolls, a muffin, pie, doughnut, filled baguette - the works. Other rumours have circulated of 'incredible' Too Good To Go bags that have been simply stuffed with delicacies, keeping people well-fed for days on end. When we opened the bag, it wasn't quite disappointment - but acceptance. On this particular day, we were supplied with two chicken baguettes and a bag of cookies. For £2.99, this isn't bad at all. Perhaps the blame is on us for setting expectations too high. We thought we'd be dining off the bag for days. We hope they keep doing what they're doing for a long time, but do remember that the bags can be hit or miss. When securing your collection, you never really know whether you'll be getting the spread of a lifetime or a bag of disappointment. Perhaps that's part of the fun.

Rare coin listed for £5million - but expert warns 'let's get one thing straight'

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Whether you're a seasoned numismatist or just have a jar of change, rare coins could potentially make you a fortune. Recently, coin enthusiasts were buzzing over a scarce 50p piece, with only 200,000 in circulation, that's worth more than its face value. Now, the @CoinCollectingWizard, who has amassed an impressive following of 30,100 on Instagram, has debunked a myth about a 1971 penny believed to be worth a whopping £5million. In a comprehensive post, he warned collectors against misinformation suggesting this penny could hold a life-changing value. He stated: "1971 penny worth £5million!". You've probably seen the viral posts claiming that a 1971 1p coin is worth £5 million... but let's get one thing straight:". "It's NOT true. It's NOT rare. It's NOT valuable.", reports the Mirror. The coin enthusiast explained that around a million of these coins were minted as it was the first year of decimalisation in the UK. He added: "These coins are incredibly common and are worth exactly what it says on the tin: 1p." Join Edinburgh Live's Whatsapp Community here and get the latest news sent straight to your messages In a final word of caution, the coin collector warned: "There are scammers and fake posts circulating online, especially on social media and dodgy websites, trying to convince people they've got a fortune in their pocket. "These are designed to trick you, either into handing over money, personal info, or just chasing fake dreams. Always double-check with reliable sources. If it sounds too good to be true... it probably is." The Royal Mint has revealed that a total of 1.5 million of these coins were minted in that year to replace the old 'pre-decimal' currency which was being phased out. According to the Britannia Coin Company, this is by far the largest annual mintage for 1p coins since decimalisation. Prior to this, all early decimal pennies bore the words 'NEW PENNY' on the reverse, including those dated 1971. However, from 1982 onwards, this was changed to 'ONE PENNY'. While it's still possible to find portcullis pennies in your change, they are becoming increasingly rare. This is due to The Royal Mint withdrawing old, worn coins in favour of newly minted ones. In other words, you'd be extremely fortunate to come across a penny coin dated 1971.
