Rod cut a casual figure in a Hoops tracksuit as he walked with Sean Stewart.
The musician completed the look with dark shades and green trainers.
The Maggie May singer is a passionate Hoops fan and even got behind the bar in a Glasgow pub to serve pints to fans.
He mentions them in one of his most popular hits, You're In My Heart, and along with his sons, he has a seat for life at Parkhead.
It comes as Celtic prepare to host Kairat of Kazakhstan in the first leg of their Champions League play-off tie tonight.
Rod and his backing singers recently brought Paradise to Glastonbury as they rocked the stage in Hoops gear.
He wore a green suit and shirt with 'Celtic' emblazoned on the back as he finished a sensational set on the Pyramid stage back in June.
In January, the Hoops paid tribute to Rod as he celebrated his milestone 80th birthday.
They surprised the music legend with a special birthday post on their social media, including photos from some of his memorable moments supporting the club.
He can be seen hoisting trophies, and waving his green-and-white scarf above his head on the pitch.

The rock-star splashed the cash for his special day, as he went all out to treat his close friends and family.
After the birthday celebration, a source told MailOnline: "He's known to be a cheapskate but not this time.
"He flew everyone to Florida first class and has told them they won't need to put their hands in their pockets for a thing."
Rod recently revealed he fears he will die if he gives up touring.
He said: "I enjoy going out on tour now more than I've ever done at this ripe old age of 80.
"I'm doing seven concerts in Vegas and then I am everywhere around the world.
"I'm playing Athens, Germany, three nights in Buenos Aires, two nights in Rio, it goes on and on and on.
"It keeps me fit. You have got to be fit to do it.
"I would probably die if I didn't do it. I have seen so many guys that have to give up their career and retire and they have got nothing to wake up in the morning for.
"I don't know what they do with themselves. They must get up and go 'What do I do today? Down the betting shop? Have a drink?' I don't know."

Chelsea ace Cole Palmer in battle with £750-a-bottle winery over bid to trademark nickname & goal celebration
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) ENGLAND footie star Cole Palmer's bid to trademark his Cold Palmer nickname has been challenged by posh French vineyard Château Palmer. In a case of Claret vs Blue, the £750-a-bottle winery has opposed the Chelsea player's bid as they want to preserve their own image. 3 Cole Palmer's bid to trademark his Cold Palmer nickname has been challenged by posh French vineyard Château Palmer Credit: Getty 3 The vineyard is in France's Margaux region 3 One bottle of the firm's Cru Classé Margaux from 1970 was listed at £750 The hotshot, 23, wanted to trademark his shivering goal celebration and Cold Palmer nickname. But the application has been unexpectedly opposed by the revered vineyard in France's Margaux region. The footballer hoped to use the moniker for a range of goods such as toiletries and clothes. But the application also asks for legal protection to be allowed to market wine. His papers highlighted: 'Alcoholic beverages; alcoholic fruit beverages; pre-mixed alcoholic beverages; wines; spirits; liqueurs; alcoholic energy drinks; low alcoholic beverages; none of the aforesaid including wines complying with the specifications of the PDO Champagne.' And that alerted bosses at the French label, who have opposed the application. Lawyers at the government's Intellectual Property Office will rule on the potential clash after receiving representations from both sides. Drake hints Cole Palmer is inspiration behind his new album name as he shares brilliant video of Chelsea star The wine firm was founded in 1814 when British Army officer Charles Palmer acquired the estate, then known as Château de Gascq. He renamed it after himself and expanded the vineyards. Royal wine merchant Berry Bros & Rudd says of the firm: 'Château Palmer is a leading wine estate in Margaux. 'Within its appellation, Palmer is certainly the closest rival to its first growth neighbour, Ch. Margaux. 'Although officially ranked a Third Growth, at their best, the wines of Chateau Palmer are among the greatest anywhere in Bordeaux.' Yesterday, one bottle of the firm's Cru Classé Margaux from 1970 was listed at £750. Cole Palmer is not known to be a wine connoisseur, but did pretend to drink a pint of lager last season when one was thrown on the pitch when Chealsea played Copenhagen. He famously asked a waiter in a posh restaurant for ketchup before asking him if he had cooked the meal. His wine preferences are unknown. The star made his senior debut for Manchester City in 2020, and was in the team's squad to win the Premier League, FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League in 2023 before signing for Chelsea for £40million.

90s sitcom star unrecognizable ahead of reunion with castmates from hit show – can you guess who?
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A SITCOM legend is set to reunite with one of her most famous co-stars – though you may not recognise her. The actress shot to fame in Home Improvement back in the 90s, but over 30 years later she's ditched her brunette locks to embrace a stunning silver. 5 This actress looks completely different to her time on the classic sitcom Credit: Getty 5 Patricia played Taylor matriarch Jill in Home Improvement Credit: Getty 5 Jill is now set to reunite with her on-screen husband, Tim Allen, for his new series Credit: Getty Patricia Richardson, now 74, found fame on the beloved ABC show as Jill Taylor, the wife of central character Tim 'The Tool Man' Taylor, played by Tim Allen. The show followed the Detroit husband-and-wife duo with their three sons – Brad, Randy and Mark – as Tim hosted his own DIY show, Tool Time. Her role earned her four Emmy nominations and two Golden Globe nominations for best actress in a comedy series. Since the series ended in 1999, Patricia took on a leading role in medical drama Strong Medicine, where she played Dr Andy Campbell for four years. Following that, she had a recurring role in the iconic political series, The West Wing. From there, she's appeared in arcs in Grey's Anatomy, NCIS and The Blacklist. But now she's coming full circle with a confirmed appearance in Tim Allen's latest sitcom, Shifting Gears, which tracks the life of a widowed car restorer. Patricia will be reuniting with her on-screen husband Tim in the season premiere on October 1st, 26 years since their time together on Home Improvement – but she won't be the only Home Improvement star dropping by. They will be joined by fellow co-stars Richard Karn, who played Al Borland and 'Tool Time Girl' Heidi Keppert star Debbe Dunning in the same episode. Running from 1991 to 1999, Patricia appeared in all 208 episodes of Home Improvement – with an average 34million American homes tuning in, making it the number one sitcom in the country. Tim Allen and Home Improvement co-stars Richard Karn and Debbe Dunning reunite 25 years after popular sitcom ended At the time, she sported a signature brown bob and bangs, and was seen trying to keep the men in her life in line – especially Tim, who she challenged about familial roles in the home. Throughout the course of the show, character Jill went from a stay-at-home mom to a career-focused psychologist, enlisting in school after losing her job as a researcher for a magazine. But she originally was hesitant to take on the most defining role of her career, having given birth to twins shortly before filming for season one began. The team were so desperate to have her on board, they made concessions for her, including a second dressing room for the babies to rest in. It was ultimately her decision, alongside Allen's, to end the show, telling LA Times in 2024: 'I told everybody, there's not enough money in the world to get me to do a ninth year. This show is over. It needs to end.' In the season finale, the family were seen moving to Indiana for the sake of Jill's career. Reflecting on the show's history, she said: 'I'm really proud of what it meant to our audience. 'I don't care what anybody says, I'm proud of the legacy.' 5 Patricia said she is 'proud of the legacy' of the series Credit: Getty
