Strictly Come Dancing sensation Michelle Tsiakkas has shared a stark warning to her followers after opening up about a distressing pickpocketing ordeal in Central London.
The BBC One show's professional dancer, who joined the cast in 2022, turned to Instagram with a heartfelt video detailing her recent encounter. She directly addressed her fans, saying: "I just wanted to make this video to let you know something that happened to me the other day in London."
Michelle described the incident as deeply unsettling, impacting her mentally to the extent of spoiling her entire day. She explained: "This was a couple of days ago and I've just about mentally recovered from that. It was quite traumatising on the day, it ruined my whole day and made me feel awful, scared, helpless and I don't want the same to happen to you."

In her candid account, the 29-year-old revealed the shocking moment her phone was snatched from her grasp. She reflected on the crime, saying: "My phone got stolen. I mean, I see it happening all the time but it's just one of those things that you think is never going to happen to you and then it does."
She continued to explain that she felt like the "only person around" during the early morning, heading to a dentist appointment when the theft occurred just as she checked her phone for directions, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Michelle recounted the swift turn of events, stating: "I was on the actual street of the dentist and what happens? A man comes on a bike behind me, sweeps past me and grabs my phone. So he's grabbed my phone, he's on an electric bike and my heart she sank."
Michelle recounted the moment, explaining that she instinctively reached to grab her phone back but tumbled to the ground, causing a grazed knee. She couldn't identify the thief because they wore a mask and quickly sped away on their electric bike.
The dancer gave her thanks to two women who noticed she was "distressed" and came to offer assistance, allowing her to use a phone to contact her network provider, bank, and her mum, who would have been worried by her lack of response.
Despite getting a new phone, Michelle described feeling "lucky" yet admitted to being "traumatised" following the ordeal. She revealed: "I'm being way more careful, I won't even take my phone out for directions,"
Michelle's fans soon posted messages of support

Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos ridiculed by tech giant over wedding detail
Billionaire Jeff Bezos has just tied the knot with Lauren Sanchez in a luxurious ceremony in picturesque Venice, Italy. Their long-awaited day, dubbed the 'wedding of the century,' was flooded with A-list stars and celebrity friends who journeyed to enjoy the $20 million wedding. Despite designer dresses and crisp tuxes, there was one aspect of the fabulous day that raised eyebrows - the couple's initial invitation. The invite, which was obtained by ABC News earlier this week, featured what appeared to be computer-generated designs of butterflies, doves, the Venice canals, gondolas, and feathers in purple, gray and pink. But, on Thursday, Adobe Express - a content creator tool - took to Instagram with a subtle slight to the bride and groom. After receiving mixed reviews about their 'cringe' wedding invitation, the creative tool posted a much more sophisticated-looking version. 'I know you said no gifts, but… it really only took us a couple minutes. XOXO, Adobe Express,' the post's caption read. The new design was set on a cream backdrop with one lone butterfly at the top above a sleek line and the words, 'Jeff & Lauren.' In large, swirly font, it read, 'Join us in Venice' before it mirrored the text on the newlywed's invitation. 'We're excited for you to join us! We have one early request: please, no gifts,' it read. 'Instead, we're making contributions in your honor and with gratitude to you for making the journey to celebrate with us in Venice. 'Donations on your behalf are being made to the UNESCO Venice Office to safeguard the city's irreplaceable cultural heritage, to CORILA to restore the lagoon habitats that protect Venice's future, and to Venice International University to support research and education for sustainable solutions. 'This magical place has gifted us unforgettable memories. Our hope is that through these efforts and by you joining us, Venice will continue to inspire wonder for generations to come.' Fans were quick to flood the comments, praising Adobe Express for its cleverness as it poked fun at the newlyweds. 'Jeff could have used a little help from Express,' one user stated. 'The Adobe Express social team working overtime for this masterpiece,' another wrote. 'Jeff Bezos works hard but the Adobe social team works harder,' someone else joked. 'The world is on fire, but I deeply respect the shade game of whoever is running the @AdobeExpress Instagram account. Dragging Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez on their ugly Venice wedding invites,' someone wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. Others were shocked after realizing the invitation with birds and butterflies was that which was actually sent out to celebrity guests. 'Wait... what?!? They sent the second slide? Seriously?' a comment said. 'I was so confused - I legit thought the first one *was* the invite. What in the Word Clip Art is going on in the second slide??' a user asked. Last night it was revealed Bezos, 61, and Sanchez, 55, have already married legally ahead of today's ceremony on San Giorgio Maggiore Island. Last night it was revealed Bezos and Sanchez have already married legally ahead of today's ceremony on San Giorgio Maggiore island. It came as guests including Kylie Jenner were forced to take cover from a freak thunderstorm during the couple's pre-wedding party inside the historic Madonna dell'Orto cloisters. A-listers including many of the Kardashian sisters and Kris Jenner, Oprah Winfrey and Orlando Bloom jetted in to Italy earlier this week for the nuptials which come two years after Bezos asked Sanchez to marry him on his $500 million superyacht. But preparations for the couple's big day have been far from plain sailing with protesters planning to disrupt the celebrations, even forcing a late venue change.

In Pictures: Lewis Capaldi returns to main stage at Glastonbury as he releases new single
The 28-year-old singer has appeared on the Pyramid Stage, for a surprise set this evening, two years after an emotional performance at Glastonbury when festival-goers lent their vocal support as he struggled to finish his set. He took a touring break in 2023 to deal with the impact of his Tourette's diagnosis and the symptoms that were exasperated the gruelling schedule associated with his meteoric rise to global fame. Earlier today, Lewis Capaldi released new single 'Survive' - a bold new anthem that underscores a challenging period in his career that led to a tough unifying moment as the Pyramid Stage crowd helped carry an emotional Capaldi over the finish line. 'Most nights I fear that I'm not enough, I've had my share of Monday mornings when I can't get up' sings Capaldi in a brutally honest track that addresses mental health challenges of self-doubt and despair, but comes out swinging in a chorus full of defiance - 'I swear to God I'll survive, if it kills me to, I'm gonna' get up and try, if it's the last thing I'll do'. 'Survive' also sees Lewis re-united with close collaborator Romans, who co-wrote his global hit 'Someone You Loved', that extraordinarily turned 10x Platinum earlier this year. The new track arrives off the back of a run of Scottish warm up shows in May that saw Lewis return to the stage as a guest of mental health charity CALM, in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Week. With no pressure, and no level of expectation, the shows allowed Capaldi the space to gauge his comfort and emotional response before returning to the spotlight - a move which ended up proving nothing short of a triumph. Lewis' last release, the hit-stacked record Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, scored him his second UK number 1 album, creating another three heartbreaking UK number 1 singles, 'Pointless', 'Wish You The Best' and the Platinum-certified 'Forget Me', working with hitmakers including Max Martin (Taylor Swift, The Weeknd), Malay (Lorde, Frank Ocean), and longtime collaborator Phil Plested (James Bay, Bastille). April 2023 saw the global Netflix release of Lewis' compelling, raw and honest feature-length, Grammy-nominated music documentary 'Lewis Capaldi: How I'm Feeling Now' , mostly filmed in Glasgow and West Lothian. Born in Dennistoun, Capaldi grew up in Whitburn from the age of four, he now lives in the West End of Glasgow and is renovating a farmhouse in East Kilbride. 1 .
