Ruby Franke's husband is setting boundaries.
A year after the YouTube family vlogger was sentenced to the minimum of four and maximum of 30 years in prison for four counts of aggravated child abuse alongside associate Jodi Hildebrandt, her estranged husband Kevin Franke shared where the couple—parents to six children—stand today.
'The last letter that I received from her from prison was maybe in March or April of last year,' Kevin—who married Ruby in 2000—told People in an interview published Feb. 25. 'And then I requested the Department of Corrections to ask her to stop writing me.'
Kevin admitted, 'I didn't want to hear anymore. I didn't like what she was saying.'
Although he wouldn't disclose the exact contents of his estranged wife's letters, Kevin detailed why he couldn't continue correspondence with her.
'I'm very angry,' he shared. 'I'm still very angry.'
As noted of his wife's attempts to reach out, 'It just didn't feel right and it didn't feel good.'

Indeed, Kevin and Ruby are currently amid a divorce—with the father of six explaining that the couple are 'close' to reaching a settlement. And while he admits he still has 'love' for his wife, he cannot 'excuse' how she hurt their children, and him.
'There are some bridges that you just can't cross and then come back,' Kevin said. 'She burned the bridges so I'm moving on. And I'm going to do what's best for my children, for my family, and for myself, and that's not going to include her.'
In the year since Ruby's sentencing, Kevin is not the only one close to Ruby to speak out. Her eldest daughter , 21, recently published a memoir, The House of My Mother, and has detailed her upbringing in an abusive household—particularly in the aftermath of Jodi moving in.
"I could for sure feel a shift," Shari explained of Jodi's entering the picture in a Jan. 7 Good Morning America interview. 'It did become more psychological. And in a way, that was more damaging to me.'
Following her February 2024 sentencing, Ruby expressed remorse for her actions, claiming her behavior stemmed from a 'dark delusion,' but her loved ones are understandably hesitant to forgive her.
'I don't think she'll ever fully comprehend or understand what she's done,' Shari told People Jan. 2. 'I just hope she can get the help that she needs.'

ICE Says TikTok Star Khaby Lame Detained and Told to Leave U.S.

Originally appeared on E! Online Khaby Lame was allegedly told to leave the United States. The TikToker, who is among the world's most followed users on the popular video app, was asked to leave the country after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials said he 'overstayed the terms of his visa,' immigration officials told NBC News. The Italian Senegalese creator (full name Seringe Khabane Lame) entered the U.S. on April 30 but was later detained at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas June 6 and granted 'voluntary departure,' according to an ICE spokesperson. Days after entering the country, Lame—who is popular for his wordless, straight-faced parody videos mocking other influencers—attended the 2025 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. While Lame has not responded to NBC News' request for comment, Sharks Celebrities Mgmt.—an agency that represents the 25-year-old—said in a statement to NBC News that the ICE report is 'fake news' and that Lame 'did not visit the USA this month to begin with.' 'He had worked with a few of my friends,' Loudon said in a video posted to X (formerly Twitter) June 9. 'They told me that his visa was revoked three years ago.' 'I just called some buddies in the administration,' he continued. 'And I've never seen anything happen so quick.' Since the reported date of Lame's departure from the U.S., the influencer—who is also a goodwill ambassador for the humanitarian aid organization UNICEF—has continued to post on his social media, including a clip from the stands of a Brazilian national soccer team match in São Paulo, Brazil, shared to his Instagram Story June 10. Sean "Diddy" Combs Trial: Prosecution Seeks Removal of Juror in Case

Originally appeared on E! Online The prosecution is raising its concerns. As day 21 of Sean 'Diddy' Combs' sex tracking trial began, assistant U.S. attorney Maurene Comey shared June 11 that her team is seeking to remove one of the 12 members of the jury, according to NBC News reporters in the courtroom. 'We were very reluctant to put in this letter,' she told Judge Arun Subramanian before the jury entered the New York City courtroom. 'It appeared to be a lack of candor with the court that raises serious issues with us.' The lead prosecutor added, 'We did not want to do this. We were compelled to do that.' Defense attorney Alexandra Shapiro—who said that Juror No. 6 is among the panel's Black members—asked for one or two days to 'respond in writing' and 'go over case law.' The conversation comes after concerns about the juror were first brought forward yesterday by the prosecution in a sealed conversation with the judge. However, in the partial transcript obtained by NBC News, Shapiro said the defense opposed removing the juror and wanted the 'opportunity to be heard' before any decisions were made. More from E! With the jury seated, Combs' ex-girlfriend—who is going by 'Jane' during the trial and was identified as 'Victim-2' in the indictment—returned for her second day of cross-examination. The witness has continued to testify to the alleged emotional, physical and financial abuse she suffered during their relationship. She said that participating in 'hotel nights,' details of which are nearly identical to the 'freak offs' his ex recalled in her testimony, felt like a responsibility since she was financially dependent on him. With Combs paying her rent since April 2023, Jane admitted that she felt resentful after being 'introduced' to a lifestyle that was 'built under a lot of emotional manipulation and pressure.' 'I was already so hooked from the beginning,' she testified June 10. 'I fell in love with somebody who I didn't understand the terms and conditions of what our relationship would be like.' She also testified that Combs had physically assaulted her during arguments, including in one instance where she accused him of kicking and punching her after learning that he was seeing another woman. Combs has pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, as well as transportation to engage in prostitution.
