But Maria was no one to listen to. The couple indulged in a sweet banter while doing the chore. At one time, Giannis even went on to ask hilariously for a divorce, showing his fake contempt over Maria's action.

While Giannis Antetokounmpo was busy killing a cockroach in his house on his wife Maria's request, Maria captured the moment live on Instagram. It led to the Bucks superstar reminding her that they are being watched by a large audience. Maria had stolen his mobile phone and went live on IG. Here is how their cute banter went on:
'Babe, the whole world is watching,' Giannis said.
Instead of listening to her husband, Maria continued filming, saying, 'Oh, there's 26,000 people watching.'
She went on filming for a little more time and kept Giannis pissed off. Giannis jokingly teased her, saying, 'When this is done, I want a divorce.'
All was being said and done in a lighter note. Their banter showed that the NBA power couple is just like any other couple in love, who enjoy each other's company and have fun together, even while doing ugly household chores like killing a cockroach!

They are parents to four children. But that does not stop Giannis from teasing Maria over extending his clan. In one of the TikTok videos recorded earlier, Giannis was seen saying, 'Baby number 5 was on the way.' To this, Maria instantly responded with a laugh, 'Absolutely not.'
Giannis and Maria's world is one big happy place. Aside from the light moments they share, Maria also posts pictures about the parent life they are enjoying. In May 2025, Maria posted a picture where Giannis and their daughter were seen sharing a cute moment. She had captioned that picture - 'First photoshoot with my little star'
Giannis and Maria work together for meaningful causes as well. They recently celebrated Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation (CAFF) Family Day and, with the help of over 400 participants from all age groups, set up a community boutique.
