Meanwhile, Lauren is being sued by her former yoga instructor for allegedly plagiarizing the instructor's children's book.
In the lawsuit, which was obtained by TMZ, Alanna Zabel alleges that Sánchez's children's book The Fly Who Flew To Space, which was published in August, substantially rips off her 2022 children's book Dharma Kitty Goes To Mars.
Zabel, who sent Sánchez two cease-and-desist letters ahead of the latter book's publication, claims to have contacted the high-profile entertainment reporter in 2022 to pitch a children's book concept about a cat who flies to Mars.
The yoga instructor, who says she taught Sánchez from 2007 to 2010, alleges in the lawsuit that the theft is related to Sánchez's 'continual and outrageous acts of jealousy' over the years.
DailyMail.com has reached out to Zabel and a representative for Sanchez to request comment.
Zabel accuses Sánchez of copying parts of her book to get back at her for quitting as her yoga instructor more than a decade ago.
The instructor, who notably filed her lawsuit without a lawyer, doesn't specify what kind of 'jealousy' Sánchez allegedly displayed.
However, she does accuse Sánchez of having 'always demonstrated a desire to appear like [Zabel], an authentic, independent, free-spirited, hard working and public service oriented yoga instructor.'
As she describes it, the relationship could have had a modest benefit for Bezos-affiliated charities, as she claims that the proceeds for the book would have benefitted the Bezos Earth Fund and Bezos Academy.
Bezos used $10 billion in 2020 to create the Bezos Earth Fund, which doles out grants to projects combating climate change and preserving nature spaces, with an emphasis on projects that will be completed within the current decade, rather than on more speculative, long-term projects.
The former Amazon CEO's Bezos Academy stresses the importance of preschool in children's development and works to build Montessori-style preschools in underserved communities.
In April, Zabel told DailyMail.com that she was furious when Sánchez announced her own children's book in January of 2023.
'I'm deeply offended, and I am taking legal action with the book,' she said at the time.
Zabel said that she had spent time at Sánchez's house while working as her instructor, and she had shared her love of children's books and even discussed the prospect of helping Sánchez write a children's book with her brother Michael.
She shared that she had ended her services for Sánchez due to relentless 'gossiping,' and added that she 'couldn't handle her personality anymore,' but Zabel added that the two had remained cordial in the subsequent years.
Zabel's suit claims that the media figure's book features more than 60 percent of similar text and story, though the methodology for arriving at that percentage is unclear.
However, as TMZ notes, several children's books have been released in 2024 alone about characters venturing into space.
There have also been multiple children's books featuring insects as main characters in the past year.
Zabel is known for teaching yoga to several of celebrity clients, including Maroon 5's Adam Levine and author Deepak Chopra.

Brittany Hockley reveals awkward wedding vow blunder after marrying Swiss footballer Ben Siegrist in Bali

Brittany Hockley has opened up about the hilarious blunder she made while rehearsing her wedding vows with her Swiss footballer fiancé Ben Siegrist. The former Bachelor star, 37, revealed on the Life Uncut podcast that she tried to speak her vows in German to surprise her European partner - but did not do a very good job. 'I learned my vows in German, so I could surprise Ben at the end of the aisle... It wasn't supposed to be comedy, but Ben found it very funny,' Brittany began. Ben, 33, jumped in to reveal what Brittany's mangled vows, during a practice run, actually meant in German. 'She said, "I love you, tit fish",' he revealed. 'I almost said, "I love you, big tit fish!" Brittany added. Fortunately, Brittany's mishap only occurred during a rehearsal and the actual ceremony went off without a hitch. The former Bachelor star revealed on the Life Uncut podcast that she tried to speak her vows in German - but did not do a very good job 'It's complicated. My husband Ben is fully Swiss, but he lives in Italy. I'm Australian and we got married in Bali. Way too many technicalities going on to make it legal, so we are just going to legally do it back here in Australia. 'The paperwork gets signed shortly - but let's not focus on that.' The couple's wedding took place at Pandawa Cliff Estate, which promises a 'dramatic and romantic clifftop setting overlooking the Indian Ocean' and stunning views of Bali's Bukit Peninsula. The 37-year-old was ever the blushing bride on her big day, walking down the aisle in a strapless dress by Steven Khalil which featured a lace corset with dramatic long train. Abbie Chatfield hits back at troll who calls her mentally unwell and says she needs medication

Abbie Chatfield has taken to social media to slam a troll who claims the high-profile influencer is mentally 'unwell'. The 29-year-old Bachelor star shared the vile slur to her stories on Tuesday and did not censor her attackers name or image. 'I suggest you ask you doctor to write you a prescription for [antipsychotic medication] Seroquel - you appear to be an emotional wreck,' the person began. 'Watching you on television crying and ranting about nothing,' they continued, adding, 'mental illness is questionable perhaps [sedative] Xanax and intensive therapy would help.' Abbie, who has been applauded by fans for her courageous and her raw posts shared the appalling comments and added her clapback. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'Easiest way to discredit a woman who cares about social/political issues is to say she's mentally unwell Imao,' the outspoken social media star said. It comes after Abbie recently hit back at critics who dismiss her success as an 'influencer', insisting it takes more than a pretty face and a few selfies to build a loyal following. Abbie opened up about the criticism with Stellar magazine about the work that goes into her career and her blossoming romance with DJ boyfriend Adam Hyde. The It's A Lot podcast host said she's tired of the term 'influencer' being used to discredit powerful women online. 'Why do we have to work ourselves to the bone to prove that we're worthy of having a platform or having a voice?' she said, adding that the content creation industry is far more demanding than it appears. She also slammed the suggestion that influencing isn't a real job, revealing that the Australian Tax Office would beg to differ. 'The ATO thinks it is – they're on my back all the time,' she quipped. Abbie explained that while male public figures are celebrated for juggling multiple careers, women are often seen as 'inept' if they attempt the same. She cited high-profile business figures are never labelled influencers despite having similar public platforms. The TV personality also opened up about her relationship with Peking Duk star Adam Hyde, revealing the couple recently moved in together after dating for over a year. Calling the romance 'healthy' and 'genuinely beneficial,' she said it's changed her entire outlook on love and what she wants in a partner. 'If I was going to get married and have kids with anyone, it would be Adam,' she shared. Reflecting on her past, Abbie admitted she now recognises how unhealthy some of her previous relationships were – and that being with Adam has set a new standard. 'I either need to be alone or be with Adam,' she declared. 'Those are kind of my two options at this point.' The media star turns 30 this month and said she feels empowered by ageing, not scared. She's excited about what her next chapter holds - both personally and professionally. Elsewhere in the interview, Abbie addressed her public fallout with feminist writer Clementine Ford, saying the experience was deeply hurtful. The feud began after Ford accused her of profiting from performative political engagement and criticised her interview with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. Abbie responded on social media, which triggered a wave of backlash from right-wing commentators who reduced the clash to a 'catfight' between feminists. While Abbie didn't blame Ford directly for that reaction, she suggested Ford should have considered how her comments might fuel sexist narratives. Abbie also noted she has often held back from criticising other women publicly to avoid similar outcomes.
