Novak Djokovic in action at Wimbledon
Wimbledon viewers have been left angry and frustrated after the BBC were unable to show Novak Djokovic's Wimbledon quarter-final against Flavio Cobolli on BBC One or BBC Two. The channel were only able to broadcast on BBC Two on Wednesday afternoon due to the England v Netherlands Euro 2025 match being shown on BBC One.
It meant Jannik Sinner's match against Ben Shelton, which started shortly before, was picked for TV coverage, with legend Djokovic pushed onto the iplayer.
Host Clare Balding informed viewers the football would impact the number of matches that could be shown.
Viewers tuning in expecting to watch the Serbian legend take on the Italian 23-year-old were far from happy.
Djokovic is bidding to win a record 25th Grand Slam and is a huge TV draw.
One viewer said: "Amazing Novak Djokovic only available on the BBC Iplayer!!! Crazy This is one of the BBCs crown jewels."

Others had issues even accessing the Djokovic match on the streaming service initially, with complains it was too hard to find.
"Once again @BBCiPlayer is useless!," said one. "You're not showing #Djokovic match. #Sinner match on two streams on iPlayer! You can forget your license fee. Absolute joke."
Another added: "You have the same game on twice on both of your iplayer red button Wimbledon games. The Djoković game isn't available on the 'match choice' as it's showing the Sinner game. Could you please fix this?"
Many more comments were posted on X, with another saying: "It would be good if we could actually watch the Djokovic v Cobolli QF, not on BBC and the link isn't working on iPlayer, just a continuous loop of sinner v Shelton, sort it out @BBC."
Meanwhile, The Queen and Peter Phillips sat among a host of famous faces from the world of acting, politics and sport on day 10 of Wimbledon.
Phillips was joined in the Royal Box at the championships by his partner Harriet Sperling, and did not sit with Camilla, who was accompanied by her sister Annabel Elliot.

Will Lauren James play in Euro 2025 final? England vs Spain predicted line-ups
Lauren James was part of a 23-player England squad involved in training on Saturday morning ahead of the Euro 2025 final clash against Spain. The Lionesses are hoping to be crowned champions of Europe once again on Sunday following their triumph at Euro 2022 under Sarina Wiegman. England face a tough test against Spain, who beat them in the 2023 World Cup final, with supporters keep to know how Wiegman's side will line up. Metro has predicted the England XI for the Euro 2025 final – and you can scroll down for the latest team news, start time and how to watch it… Lionesses star James remains in a race to prove her fitness after being forced off at half time in Tuesday's semi-final comeback win over Italy. James picked up an ankle injury – and despite training the day before the final – Wiegman has said that she is unsure if the player will be fully fit. 'She's still recovering,' Wiegman said on Friday. 'She's doing things on the pitch and we have two more days so we're going to give her time. 'We don't know yet [if she'll be ready], but that's what we're going to go for – [we want to have] 23 players available for the game on Sunday.' If James is unable to start, Chloe Kelly could take her spot on the right wing after scoring a 119th-minute winner off the bench against Italy. England centre-back Esme Morgan made her first major tournament start last time out and is set to keep her place next to captain Leah Williamson. Alessia Russo looks set to start for the Lionesses too despite Michelle Agyemang's late heroics in the last two knockout games from the bench. Spain, meanwhile, are set to have Laia Aleixandri return to the backline after she served a one-match ban against Germany on Wednesday. Viewers will have a choice between BBC One and ITV 1, with both TV channels providing live coverage of the final in the United Kingdom. Analysis from Metro's Sports Reporter Liam Grace… England's road to the Euro 2025 final has been a rollercoaster of resilience and emotion – last-gasp equalisers, heart-stopping penalty drama and a defiant response to their opening ground-stage defeat to France have all shaped a storyline worthy of the grandest stage. Now, the Lionesses stand on the edge of history, with an opportunity to become the first England team ever to defend a major tournament title. It is Spain, the tournament favourites before a ball was kicked, who stand in their way. La Roja are aiming to make their own history – having never been crowned champions of Europe before – and they have a number of impressive stars who can cause England problems. Having scored four goals in five matches, Spain forward Esther Gonzalez enters the final as the tournament's leading scorer. England will also have to deal with the likes of Aitana Bonmati, Alexia Putellas and Athenea del Castillo – some of the best players in women's football. We're set for a fiery rematch of the 2023 World Cup final – with previous clashes between the two nations packed with tension – so expect more of the same on Sunday… with England hopefully coming out on top. Prediction: England 2-1 Spain Speaking ahead of the final, England manager Wiegman said: 'I think that both teams have so much respect for each other. 'They are good on the ball, so I expect they'll have the ball a little bit more, but we have played games where we've had a certain amount of ball possession too. More Trending 'We are just preparing as well as possible. We have to defend really well and try to harm them at other moments.' Spain head coach Montse Tome added: 'It's an incredible joy to be in the final. I'm very happy for the players, the staff, and everything we are building here in Switzerland. 'Now, it's time to recover. We'll start looking at England more closely, although our analysts have already been watching them live and studying their performances. 'We're going to dive deeper into their game, and we're going all in.' Wife of Hollywood actor claims she's ‘always broke' and ‘lives pay cheque to pay cheque'
HER husband is one of Hollywood's biggest comedy actors, but despite this, Dawn O'Porter has revealed she is struggling to make ends meet financially. The television presenter, 46, who has been married to Bridesmaids actor Chris O'Dowd since 2012, has opened up about her money woes. PADawn O'Porter has opened up about her financial struggles[/caption] GettyDawn is married to Hollywood actor Chris O'Dowd[/caption] AlamyChris got his big break in Hollywood with a role in the comedy caper Bridesmaids[/caption] She expressed to MailOnline: 'I work pay cheque to pay cheque. I'm always broke. My card got declined last week. I'm like, what the f*** is happening? When will this end?' The Scottish writer and director has had a varied career, presenting several documentaries and shows including BBC's Super Slim Me and How To Look Good Naked on Channel 4. Meanwhile, Chris, 45, has starred in some of Hollywood's biggest productions, including This Is 40, Thor: The Dark World, Gulliver's Travels and St. Vincent. The couple have two children, sons Art, 11, and Valentine, who is eight years old. The family returned to London last Summer after living in Los Angeles for the past eight years. This isn't the first time Dawn has opened up about her financial woes as she previously alluded to living quite a humble lifestyle. While appearing on the White Wine Question Time podcast with Kate Thornton, she explained: 'I've never seen myself as a celebrity. 'Even though I'm married to Chris, who is quite a well-known actor, I don't think either of us have ever seen ourselves as celebrities. 'I guess if I was a celebrity, I'd get paid lots of money to do things that aren't necessarily my job or don't really feed what I do, but I don't. My job is writing, with the occasional little ad on Instagram to pay the rent.' After struggling to find her place in the bright lights of Hollywood, Dawn decided to return to the UK but it wasn't smooth sailing. She recounted: 'We were living in LA and I just said to Chris, I've got to go back to London to try and claw back my career. 'And we came back to London for a bit and I'd go for these meetings at TV production companies and I'd been successful. 'I had my own series on Channel 4… and they'd be like, 'What do you want to do?' and I was like, 'I want to do what I do'. But no one wanted to employ me.' The mum-of-two had a regular column with Stylist magazine which she was dropped by and that really affected her confidence. 'I was cool. I had my own show on Channel 4… then as my career just kind of… declined, I think they looked at me and were like, well she's just not that interesting anymore,' Dawn revealed, 'It was the final blow to my confidence. I was absolutely on the floor because I always felt that writing would be the thing that saved me. Dawn released her first novel in 2013, Paper Aeroplanes, which is a fictional story loosely inspired by her upbringing in Guernsey. She went on to release The Cows in 2016 which earned her a place on the Sunday Times Best Sellers List. GettyThe couple moved back to London after spending eight years living in Los Angeles[/caption]
