Sir Rod Stewart's lookalike teenage sons make rare red carpet appearance
Sir Rod Stewart made an appearance with his teenage sons at the Mission Impossible 8 London premiere last night – and the resemblance was uncanny.
The Maggie May singer, 80, posed on the Leicester Square red carpet for The Final Reckoning alongside his wife Penny Lancaster, 54, and their two children – Alastair Wallace, 19, and Aiden Patrick, 14.
While Penny sported a yellow silky dress and white blazer, Sir Rod wore a velvet jacket with a frilly, unbuttoned white shirt and necklaces underneath.
The two teens wore matching black tie suits, and sported similar smart mousey brown haircuts too.
While Alastair was Sir Rod and Penny's first child together, the teen was the rocker's seventh child.
The Do Ya Think I'm Sexy? hitmaker's first child was Sarah Streeter, now 61, who he welcomed with his girlfriend of the time, Susannah Boffey, when he was just a 'stone broke' teenager. She was put up for adoption, and they reconnected years later.
Sir Rod then welcomed Kimberly Stewart, 45, and Sean Stewart, 44, with ex-wife Alana Stewart,
Then came Ruby Stewart, 37, who Sir Rod shares with ex-girlfriend Kelly Emberg, before he and ex-wife Rachel Hunter welcomed Renee Stewart, 32, and Liam Stewart, 30.
Alastair, who is finding his feet in the world of modelling, seems to have a close relationship with Sir Rod, as they often pose together on social media.
A few months after Aiden's birth in 2011, Sir Rod explained that he was hoping to enjoy his kids, rather than focus on his career.
He told People: 'I'm trying to make more time now that I've carved out my career. I want to enjoy my kids. We're all planning a massive vacation somewhere.
'It's hard to get them all together because they are all off in different directions. But I am so proud of them.'
In 2022, Sir Rod revealed Aiden had been rushed to hospital after he collapsed during a football match.
Sir Rod said: 'We thought my boy had a heart attack.'
Speaking to FourFourTwo magazine, the singer continued: 'He was going blue and was unconscious until he calmed down. It was scary, but it turned out to be a panic attack. The lad wanted to do well, pulled on the Hoops in Scotland for his dad.
This comes in a big year for Sir Rod – who turned 80 in January – as he is set to perform the coveted legend slot on Glastonbury Festival's Pyramid Stage in June. More Trending
The legend slot sees music icons of decades-long, award-winning, chart-topping calibre take to the Pyramid Stage on the Sunday afternoon of the festival each year (usually kicking off from 3.15pm to 4.30pm).
While there was some backlash at Sir Rod filling the slot, with huge hits including Maggie May, I Don't Want To Talk About It, Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?, All For Love, and Sailing, he does fit the bill.
Just last year his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra album with Jools Holland got him his 11th No. 1 UK album, and he's one of the best-selling artists in history having sold over 250million records worldwide.

Glastonbury Festival fans convinced they know who the mystery Patchwork guest is - as full line-up is announced
Glastonbury Festival fans are convinced they've worked out who the mystery Patchwork guest is on the 2025 line-up. Festival-goers have gone wild with speculation around who the act could potentially be - as it plans to perform on the Pyramid Stage 6pm to 7pm on the Saturday. Names including Oasis, Mumford And Sons, Sam Fender, Harry Styles, and Lewis Capaldi have all been thrown into the mix. Fans speculated on Reddit: 'There's two surprises on the Pyramid Stage, one Friday one Saturday. Talk of Mumford and Sons on the Friday and I'm praying for Pulp on the Saturday." Another user suggested: Haim probably', 'A massively long shot, but could it be Oasis to officially kick-start their comeback? Only a 35-minute set, which would probably be like 4 songs with a lot of talking. Which feels appropriate', From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Festival-goers have gone wild with speculation around who the act could potentially be - as it plans to perform on the Pyramid Stage 6pm to 7pm on the Saturday 'Patchwork ?Oasis I know they've said no, but that doesn't carry a great deal of weight... Patchwork... Patching things up... might be a bit of a reach but MY GOD it would be good', 'Ed Sheeran I think. Been doing secret sets all year. Just popping up', 'Pulp would fit. New album which is great. Gap in tour. Headlined twice before. Band of the people', 'Hopefully Sam Fender, heard about Harry Styles aswell'. Glastonbury has revealed the line-up for this year's event as it announced the headline acts which include The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo. Moments after the acts were announced, fans who had already purchased their tickets took to social media in their droves to complain about the line-up. Branding it the 'worst one ever', they claimed that the globally recognised event had 'gone so far downhill' in comparison to previous years. Fans who didn't manage to bag entry during the November sale admitted they no longer minded about missing out following the announcement. Fans suggested who they thought Patchwork could be on Reddit on Tuesday British pop-rock group the 1975 and the US pop-punk songwriter Olivia are both first-time headliners. The poster was shared by the official Glastonbury X page this morning with the caption: 'Here is the first Glastonbury Festival 2025 line-up poster.' The band, led by Matty Healy, have been revealed as the top billing for the Friday night on the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm. Pop princess Olivia, who performed on the Other Stage in 2022, will serve as the headline act on the closing night of the event. Canadian singer-songwriter Neil will fill the Saturday night slot, which will also see performances from Charli XCX, Raye and Doechii. Neil previously accidentally announced he would be playing at the event on January 1 when he declared he would be 'withdrawing' from the festival - despite it never being confirmed in the first place. He cited that it was due to the fact the event was under the BBC 's 'corporate control'. The Somerset-based festival has worked closely with its exclusive broadcast partner since 1997. Neil later admitted had received bad information and confirmed he would once again perform, announcing it was 'back on his itinerary'. Following the line-up announcement, many took to X to share their thoughts on the musicians who are slated to play at the iconic event Sir Rod Stewart was already confirmed for the coveted teatime legends slot on the Sunday. The Other stage headliners have also been revealed. After her unforgettable Brat Summer – and rivalling Dua Lipa's headline performance with a DJ set at Glastonbury 2024 – Charli xcx will headline the festival's second stage on Saturday. Hot off her Brits success where she bagged a jaw-dropping five gongs, Charli is no doubt likely to draw a huge crowd. Also on the same stage will be hip hop star Loyle Carner on the Friday, as Essex electronic group The Prodigy close the event on Sunday night with a show that will be their first at the festival since the death of frontman Keith Flint in 2019. Other acts include Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro, Canadian singer Alanis Morissette, US chart-topper Noah Kahan, English rock band Wolf Alice, British indie rockers Wet Leg and recently reformed US pop group Scissor Sisters. Manchester-formed The 1975 have headlined various festivals in the UK and elsewhere, with controversial stage antics. However, they have not done so at Glastonbury. Glastonbury is taking a fallow year in 2026 to allow the farmland to recover, organisers said last year. In 2024, London-born singer Dua, rock band Coldplay and American singer Sza all headlined the Pyramid Stage. The festival will take place at Worthy Farm in Somerset from June 25 to 29.

I'm related to one of Celtic's greatest ever players – but I've left Hoops to kickstart my career at another club
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) IT's never easy to carry such a famous name on your back and follow in the footsteps of such an iconic figure in Scottish football. It's even more challenging when there's not one or two legends in the family, but a long list of famous faces who have been involved in the game. Sign up for the Celtic newsletter Sign up 2 Another relative of Paul McStay is an up and coming football star Credit: Alamy 2 Another branch of the family tree includes Celtic players Paul, and Willie McStay, pictured with their father Credit: Steve Welsh - The Sun Glasgow But unlike her three cousins Raymond, Willie and Paul - who all played for Celtic - Olivia McStay has left the East End of Glasgow to begin a new chapter of her career at the age of 17. Olivia is a third-generation star who is the latest to carry the family DNA in the sport. A Scotland Under-17 international, Olivia is one of our most promising stars in the women's game. But after years in the Celtic youth team, she is no longer a prospect at the club which her cousin Paul captained throughout the age levels and in the first team. Instead, she has decided to swap clubs and join Hamilton Accies after the club confirmed she has penned a pre-contract agreement with the South Lanarskshire outfit. Olivia spent last season on loan from the Hoops and has decided to make the move permanent this summer. But she could return to face her old team in the coming months after helping Accies win promotion to the top flight by clinching the SWPL 2 title. A statement from Accies read: "We are thrilled to announce the capture of Scotland U17s international defender @OliviaMcStay_ on a pre contract agreement from Celtic. "Olivia spent last season on loan from the Glasgow side & has made the move permanent for 25/26. "Welcome back Liv." Thousands of Celtic fans march to Hampden for Scottish Cup final vs Aberdeen amid heavy police presence Olivia is the daughter of Jock McStay - famous for his stint with Raith Rovers and front and centre in one of Scottish football's most notorious incidents. He was on the receiving end of Duncan Ferguson's famous headbutt at Ibrox in 1994 - one of the most infamous moments in Scottish football history. He played for nine clubs around Scotland and starred 262 times for the Kirkcaldy club. Football flows through the family veins as Willie's son - also John - is currently a coach at Celtic like his dad was, and Paul's son Chris most recently starred at Clyde alongside Peter Grant's son Ray. Beyond the three brothers, their father was a scout for the Hoops - who discovered Kieran Tierney - and their great-uncles Jimmy and Willie McStay both successive Celtic captains and Scotland internationals. They also had a cousin Francis who played for Motherwell - but that was more than a century ago. Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page

Charles 'won't make first move with Harry because of whispers from close circle'
Prince Harry's feud with his father King Charles has gone from bad to worse following Harry's extraordinary outburst in a BBC interview - and now palace insiders have revealed one of the reasons why the monarch is unlikely to make first move in repairing their rift Palace insiders have revealed one of the key factors that could be stopping King Charles from making the first move in reconciling with estranged son Prince Harry. The feud between father and son is believed to have gone from bad to worse in recent weeks after Harry gave an explosive interview to the BBC after losing another court battle over his security arrangements in the UK. In that interview, he confirmed that things had got so bad between him and his father, that the King, who is still having cancer treatment, will not speak to him and he does not know "how much longer my father has" left. It comes after Harry railed against his family in his memoir Spare, where he criticised his father, branded his stepmother Queen Camilla dangerous and claimed older brother Prince William physically attacked him. Some have suggested that if father and son are to get their relationship back on track, it should be the King to reach out and make the first move. However, a palace insider has told PEOPLE magazine one of the reasons why this has not been the case so far - and they claimed it is because those around the King have not "encouraged reconciliation". According to the publication, William has shown "no interest" in repairing the rift, Camilla "stays out of it" while even the King's most personal aide, private secretary Sir Clive Alderton is "unlikely to push for a personal outreach". Respected royal correspondent and author Valentine Low told PEOPLE of Charles: "There is not a good angel in his ear to say, 'Be a good dad and make the first move'." Talking about Harry's bombshell BBC interview, he added: "It wasn't meant to be an attack, but it would be seen as one. It makes Charles reach out even harder." In his bombshell interview after losing his security case at the Court of Appeal, Harry admitted: "Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book. Of course, they will never forgive me for lots of things." And speaking previously to the Mirror, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine Ingrid Seward, said any apology from Harry for his actions in the past will be a long time coming, despite his plea for reconciliation. She said: "By now Charles is used to Harry's disloyalty and contradictions. But what he will not be prepared to put up with is his youngest son's stubborn conviction that he is always right. Harry's ego is so fragile he thinks the world is against him. He refuses to take responsibility for his actions. If he wants reconciliation, why does he still attack his family? "If he did say sorry to his father and those he has hurt, he would be admitting he was wrong. Harry has such a weak sense of self he appears incapable of doing this. Harry's stubbornness will almost certainly prevent him from bringing his wife and children to the UK. At least in the immediate future. "He said he realised he had upset the 'family' but never once offered to apologise. The King knows this. But he also understands that under Harry's accusatory exterior, he is extremely vulnerable." As King, Charles needs total trust. He is head of state and monarch and that has to come first as Charles vowed at his Coronation. He will be very sad it has come to this. But if he can't trust Harry, he has to avoid him until such time things change. If they ever do." Get Royal Family updates straight to your WhatsApp!
