Nicole Kidman Says Goodbye to Her Met Gala Bob Haircut in Architectural Monse Look for 2025 ACM Awards With Keith Urban
Nicole Kidman's bob era was short-lived. A few days after her Met Gala appearance, the actress debuted a new long, straight hairstyle at the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards on Thursday, while there to support her husband, Keith Urban.
Kidman wore an architectural look from Monse's fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection. Her outfit featured a sleeveless black leather top with a high neckline and subtle paneling. The armor-like top was paired with black tailored trousers, layered with an asymmetric, draped skirt overlay. Classic black pumps completed the outfit.

Jason Bolden styled Kidman for the occasion. Bolden has been working with Kidman for years and was also responsible for her 2025 Met Gala look. At Monday's event, the actress wore a re-creation of a 1950s couture gown by Cristóbal Balenciaga, created by Balenciaga's current creative director, Demna. At the event, Kidman also sported a blond slicked-back bob created by hairstylist Adir Abergel.
'The inspiration was a tailored short cut that brought out the essence of dandyism on Nicole Kidman. I wanted to celebrate this year's theme by honoring the dandies and their individuality, elegance and confidence — where every detail is tailored to that unique person,' Abergel wrote on Instagram.
At the 2025 ACM Awards, Urban coordinated with his wife in a velvety, black suit. The country singer received the honorary ACM Triple Crown Award.
'My wife, Nicole Mary, is here tonight. I love you, babygirl. And our girls Sunday and Faith watching at home tonight, I love you both, too,' Urban said during his acceptance speech, nodding to Kidman's recent movie, 'Babygirl.'

Monse Resort 2026 Collection
Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim are gearing up to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Monse in September. Their tightly edited resort collection looked back at favorite Monse-isms, both their own and those of their customers. The focus was on 'topsy-turvy staples.' A two-in-one puffer jacket was constructed from separate jackets joined at the waist (the bottom jacket was thinner to eliminate bulk). This same approach was used on colorblocked cardigans, a deconstructed fair isle sweater, a classic businessman striped cotton poplin shirt, and a two-toned denim jacket with a suede collar. The outerwear was certainly one of the collection's strongest elements. A trench-style cropped jacket in chocolate suede or black leather came with a double lapel and could quickly become a staple in anyone's closet; while another trompe l'oeil style, this time a hoodie 'underneath' a blazer but with the hoodie's scrunched arms layered over the jacket's sleeves, was especially successful in a black leather and heathered gray construction. Elsewhere, there were party-ready pieces in the form of slinky sequined gowns and a studded mesh shirt and easy flared pant—all in shades of chocolate-copper, which added an unexpected allure. Studs were also used to embellish knits, including a colorblocked turtleneck which, if you looked closely, turned out to be two turtlenecks in one. 'We didn't have the front of one and the back of the other, so we just married them,' Garcia explained. 'That's usually how the best little experiments come to life. It ended up being one of my favorite pieces.'

Sabrina Carpenter's ‘Manchild' Lyrics Seem to Be Savage Message to Ex Barry Keoghan
Sabrina Carpenter is making an early bid for song of the summer with the release of her new single 'Manchild.' Leading up to its release, fans wondered whether Carpenter's lyrics were aimed at her ex Barry Keoghan given the track name and promo language (specifically her announcement post saying, 'this one's about you!!'). The song doesn't explicitly call Keoghan out by name, but it generally alludes to the annoyance of having to deal with an immature man. The chorus goes, 'Man-child / Why you always come a-running to me? / Fuck my life / Won't you let an innocent woman be?' Keoghan and Carpenter first sparked romantic rumors in late 2023 before going public with their relationship in February 2024. Their relationship included a Met Gala date and Keoghan starring in Carpenter's music video for 'Please Please Please.' Those lyrics seemed to have a message for him too, with her singing: 'I heard that you're an actor / So act like a stand up guy / Whatever devil's inside you / Don't let him out tonight / I tell them it's just your culture / And everyone rolls their eyes / Yeah I know / All I'm asking baby / Please please please don't prove I'm right / Please please please / Don't bring me to tears when I just did my makeup so nice / Heartbreak is one thing / My ego's another / I beg you don't embarrass me / Mother fucker ahhh / Please please please.' Sadly, their love story didn't last and fizzled out in December 2024. A source told Entertainment Tonight, 'Things didn't end well, and they are taking space from each other. Sabrina and Barry are definitely broken up right now. Sabrina isn't sad over the breakup and is staying busy and distracted.' The insider added that 'Sabrina is figuring out what she wants and is focused on her career.' Carpenter hasn't dated anyone publicly since Keoghan—but chances are she has plenty of private stories to draw inspiration from, too. Whether Keoghan or someone else is her muse, the star isn't likely to share the subject of 'Manchild.' She told W magazine last year that she doesn't want to put her love life up for public consumption. 'I get why people are interested,' she conceded. 'But they can listen to my album and decide for themselves what the songs are about.' 'Manchild' offers fans an opportunity to do just that.
