Adam Sandler Honors Cameron Boyce In Happy Gilmore 2
Cameron made his feature film debut at just 9 years old, when he starred in the horror movie Mirrors, which was released in 2008.
However, he arguably got his big break with Disney, where he starred in the popular series Jessie, which aired between 2011 and 2015.
He also starred in the Descendants movie franchise, where he played Carlos De Vil, with the third film marking Cameron's final performance before his tragic death.
At the time of his passing, Cameron had been cast in Adam Sandler's movie Hubie Halloween, but filming hadn't yet started — and Adam was one of the celebrities who was left devastated by the star's sudden death.
'Too young. Too sweet. Too funny. Just the nicest, most talented, and most decent kid around,' Adam wrote on Instagram at the time. 'Loved that kid. Cared so much about his family. Cared so much about the world.'
'Thank you, Cameron, for all you gave to us. So much more was on the way,' he went on. 'All our hearts are broken. Thinking of your amazing family and sending our deepest condolences.'
For reference, Adam had cast Cameron in Hubie Halloween after working with him on Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2 years earlier, where the young actor had played his son, Keithie Feder.
And Adam was sure to honor Cameron when Hubie Halloween was released in October 2020, with the movie including a heartfelt end-credit dedication to the star that read: 'In loving memory of Cameron Boyce... Gone way too soon and one of the kindest, coolest, funniest, and most talented kids we knew. You live on forever in our hearts and are truly missed every day.'
Fast-forward almost five years, and people noticed that Adam paid subtle tribute to Cameron yet again, this time in his movie Happy Gilmore 2, which was released on Netflix on Friday.
In a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment in one of the film's early scenes, Cameron can be seen on a CRT TV that is playing an episode of Jessie. He is the only character from the show to feature in the chosen clip.
Needless to say, fans have been left touched by this sweet gesture from Adam, and have praised how proactive he has been in keeping the late star's memory alive all these years later.
'Adam put a tiny Cameron Boyce (played his son in Grown Ups) tribute in Happy Gilmore 2. Excuse me while I sob 😭' one tweet that has been liked more than 23,000 times reads.'adam sandler found a way to have cameron boyce in the new happy gilmore :(' somebody else wrote, while another added: 'It's 10am and I'm crying seeing that Adam Sandler put a Cameron Boyce cameo in Happy Gilmore 2 😭'And one more claimed: 'adam sandler fucking loved cameron boyce like a son im gonna cry."
Let me know your thoughts on Adam's tribute to Cameron in the comments below.

‘The Hunting Wives' fans think they caught an embarrassing onscreen blunder: ‘Had me shook'
They're on the hunt. Fans of the soapy Netflix murder drama 'The Hunting Wives' believe they've spotted a mistake onscreen. 'Of all the things that shocked me about The Hunting Wives, this is the part that really had me shook,' one TikTok posted on Saturday read. The video showed Sophie (Brittany Snow) checking her fridge in the show's first episode — which included a Kraft mac and cheese box in the freezer. 6 Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman in 'The Hunting Wives.' Netflix 6 the Mac and Cheese in the freezer. Netflix Some viewers believed this was an obvious blunder because the product should be in a pantry. 'I've been WAITING FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO BRING THIS UP,' one commenter wrote. However, others pointed out that a product placement is always intentional, and that the Kraft brand does make products for freezers, too. Now streaming, 'The Hunting Wives' is based on a 2021 novel of the same nam. The story follows Sophie (Snow), a Massachusetts woman who relocates to Texas thanks to her husband's job. There, she becomes entangled in the web of her new friend Margo Banks (Malin Akerman), the Queen Bee leader of the local community. 6 Malin Akerman and Dermot Mulroney in 'The Hunting Wives.' Netflix 6 Malin Akerman and Brittany Snow in 'The Huting Wives.' Netflix Margo is married to local bigwig Jed (Dermot Mulroney), and presides over a clique of moms and socialites who like shooting guns and dancing with men half their age. She also has affairs with men and women alike. Mulroney told the Post that the show is full of 'love affairs and naughty sex.' That goes for Margo and Sophie, too. Akerman, 47, told The Post that when things heated up with Sophie, the atmosphere behind the scenes was 'playful.' 6 Joyce Glenn, Brittany Snow, Katie Lowes, and Alexandria DeBerry on 'The Hunting Wives.' Netflix 6 Brittany Snow and Malin Ackerman on 'The Hunting Wives.' Netflix 'Brittany and I get along so well. She's such a lovely human. We would be sitting there kind of giggling like school girls, like, 'Oh my God, this is so crazy. What a job we have!'' 'I'm so glad it was with her, and we felt so comfortable with each other,' the 'Couples Retreat' star added. 'We'd become really good friends — and how lucky that we did end up getting along. Because sometimes you have to do scenes with people you're not as bonded with. So, of course there's some hesitation, but we always felt really well taken care of.' The wild murder mystery is causing other viewers on TikTok to proclaim, 'This show is INSANE!' 'The Hunting Wives' showrunner Rebecca Cutter told The Post, 'It's so fun, and juicy and sexy. Everyone is behaving so badly. I wanted to do an exploration of women behaving badly, unapologetic sexual conquest running rampant, and just something fun.'

10 Things I Still Love About "10 Things I Hate About You"
I'm going on the record to say that 10 Things I Hate About You is one of the best teen rom-coms. Ever. The cast (Julia Stiles, Heath Ledger, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gabrielle Union), the soundtrack (Save Ferris, Letters to Cleo, Semisonic), the witty dialogue ("Whoops? My insurance doesn't cover PMS!"), are but a few of the reasons why I love this film. So, to honor 10 Things I Hate About You, I decided to share 10 things I LOVE about the film. The fact that this movie is only 97 minutes: Especially in these times, when we have movies over three hours long — SOME EVEN HAVE INTERMISSIONS. The art of the under-100-minute-movie is truly lost. However, I could watch 100,000 minutes of Patrick Verona's smile. Kat and Patrick's chemistry: HOT HOT HOT! I know that their relationship started off inauthentic, but my, my, was it worth the heartbreak. The entire sequence of Patrick serenading Kat with "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You" on the bleachers in front of the entire school is one of the most romantic gestures I've ever seen in a film. Cameron's tenacity: Cameron is the epitome of "if he wanted to, he would!" He heard that Bianca wasn't allowed to date until her sister did and took matters into his own hands and — sure, there was the lil' Joey Donner blip in there, but, at the end of the day, Cameron got the girl! Cameron and Michael's friendship: Michael was Cameron's wingman, even when he thought Bianca wasn't worth all the trouble Cameron was going through. Did Michael complain? A little! But he stood by his friend and helped him get the girl. Also, upon rewatch, I've decided we as a society do not talk enough about how plugged in Michael was! He knew who everyone was and who they hung out with, he knew that Joey Donner was the one they need for their pay-for-date scheme, he's even the one who set Cameron up with Bianca initially because he knew she needed a French tutor. Michael is the man to know at Padua High! Nigel's commitment to the brie: Not even a pack of rowdy teenagers could stop Nigel from ushering in his dairy snack, without spilling any, I might add! Kat's dance moves: Where were these moves in Save The Last Dance? Clearly, she left them at the kitchen table... Everything about Ms. Purdy's romance novel: The only qualm I have about Ms. Purdy's tale of Reginald's ~quivering member~ was that we weren't able to read the full novel. Walter's over-protectiveness: As a kid, I thought that Walter was overbearing. As an adult, I totally get it! He delivers babies to under-aged girls / women who aren't ready to be mothers each and every day. He just wants to ensure that he's protecting his daughters from the wiles of horny teenage boys. Also, "and Hell is just a sauna," is one of my fave lines in cinema. Mr. Morgan's entire personality: Listen, these kids were menaces and deserved to be treated as such. Kat's poem: I would be lying if I said I didn't cry right along with Kat as she read her poem about Patrick in front of the class. Shakespeare only WISHED he could write something as impactful. Jessie J Has ‘No Cancer Spread' Following Mastectomy: ‘Happy Tears Are Real'
Jessie J is on the road to recovery after completing surgery following an early breast cancer diagnosis. The singer-songwriter shared an update on Instagram following her mastectomy, revealing that the cancer did not spread. 'Results = I have NO cancer spread,' Jessie wrote, followed by a string of crying emojis. 'Happy tears are real. Thank YOU for the prayers, the love, the well wishes, the joy and all the positive energy.' The caption accompanied a video of her son, Sky, learning to say 'Mommy's gonna be OK.' More from Rolling Stone Jessie J Hopes Her Breast Cancer Is 'All Gone' Following Surgery Jessie J Shares the 'Honest Lows and Highs' After Undergoing Breast Cancer Surgery Jessie J Played a Show Right After 5 Breast Biopsies: 'I Didn't Want to Cancel' 'This video is from the night before my surgery,' she wrote in her caption. 'We called it baby boy. You are my biggest ray of light and with you in my life the darkness will never win.' Following the surgery in late June, Jessie said that one of the biggest pitfalls of the experience was 'not being able to be the mum I'm used to being and not picking Sky up,' as well as 'the fear of not knowing if the cancer is all gone.' Prior to the procedure, the singer shared an emotional video in which she cried at the thought of hearing her son say he loves her and not being able to say it back. Jessie is celebrating her victory, but still has a ways to go before she's fully recovered. 'Lots of healing to go and one more surgery to make these cousins look more like sisters,' she wrote. 'But for now it's gratitude time and I am changing my name to The LopJess monster.' When Jessie revealed her diagnosis, she mentioned that she was 'not processing it because I'm working so hard.' In a separate post shared in June, she looked back on a live performance she completed right after she had undergone several breast biopsies in private. 'I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support and also their own stories,' she said.
