Casting News: Molly Shannon Reunites With Will Ferrell, Trying Adds 5 and More
Molly Shannon will star alongside her SNL castmate Will Ferrell in his upcoming golf comedy for the streamer, Deadline reports. Ferrell stars as golf legend Lonnie 'The Hawk' Hawkins, with Shannon playing his foul-mouthed ex-wife Stacy.

The untitled series, first announced back in May 2024, has done some retooling since then: Emmy nominee Ramy Youssef (Ramy), who was set to star opposite Ferrell, has since exited the project due to 'creative differences.'
In addition to her time on SNL from 1995 to 2001 (with much of that time overlapping with Ferrell), Shannon has had series-regular roles on The Other Two and Divorce, along with recurring guest spots on The White Lotus, Enlightened and Only Murders in the Building.
