This Morning's Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley suffered an awkward moment during Monday's show.
This Morning: Ben and Cat try to speak to Phil Vickery
On Monday's instalment of This Morning, things turned a bit awkward for presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley.
After an advert break, the two ITV stars were handing over the reins to resident chef, Phil Vickery.
Ben said: 'Welcome back! So Phil is cooking up a delicious dish for the whole family and he's live from the This Morning allotment. It looks wonderful down there Phillip- We're trying to connect to his ear, can he hear us?'
The screen then cut to Phil at the allotment preparing the dish he was going to be making. As Ben asked if he was able to hear them in the studio, it was clear they were suffering some technical difficulties.
Oblivious that he was on air, Phil continued to prep the dish as Cat burst out laughing over the deadpan silence.

Ben remarked: 'Oh dear…' She replied: 'He could be just ignoring us? Should I try Phillip again?'
Cat then shouted his full name, as previously in the show, the chef confessed his mother calls him Phillip when he's in trouble.
While Cat gave it her best efforts to get his attention, Ben asked: "Has anyone got a phone? Someone phone him. Can the cameraman hear us?'
Although it was clear even the team on location had no idea they were being spoken to, as Ben revealed, it was quite fun getting an insight into what they were doing.

He added: 'This is quite fun actually, we could just watch them and see what they get up to!'
After a while, Ben informed viewers that the ITV team were going to try and ring Phil and the crew to get a response, although wanted them to be back on-screen.
Cat added: 'He might do something naughty though, you know what Phil Vickery is like! He might be doing something a little bit naughty.'
Someone in the studio could be heard telling Ben and Cat they were giving Phil a ring to tell him he was on air.
Phil continued to prepare his dish, unaware he was being broadcast
To fill the gap, they aired a pre-recorded segment of the latest ITV competition before it returned to Ben and Cat.
As Cat shouted: "Phillip, can you hear us?' He jokingly replied: 'Is that my mother…?'

The chef confirmed he was now able to hear them both in the studio as he started cooking his dish of the day.

Amanda Holden took to the airwaves on Thursday morning alongside pal Jamie Theakston and appeared to be naked for their breakfast morning show on Heart FM Amanda Holden seemingly shunned any Ofcom complaints by appearing to be naked on air. As she sat in her DJ chair on Thursday morning, she said on air: "Good morning, Mr Theakston. It is 6.30am and I've just caught myself on the camera and don't you think I look naked this morning? Sat behind here?" Jamie seemed to stumble in his response, replying: "Do you know what... You are wearing clothes, aren't you?" His comments amused his pal and co-host. She laughed as she said back: "I just looked and went, 'What? Have I forgotten to put my clothes on?'" The camera angle made it look like the 54-year-old had no clothes on, with only a chunky pearl necklace visible. She was, however, also wearing a pale pink strapless dress and was photographed outside of the London studios. As well as Amanda's BGT finale dress complaints following Saturday's show, fellow judge Alesha Dixon's attire was also criticised. The duo, alongside Simon Cowell and Bruno Tonioli, watched on as the public voted for magician Harry Moulding as their winner. In total, the female judges' outfits received 72 complaints to Ofcom. When contacted by the Mirror, Ofcom said they had received the complaints from viewers, who alleged the star's frocks were "too revealing for a family show". Amanda had stunned in her final outfit for the ITV talent competition after vowing to never tone down her fashion choices. It came after she had received a number of criticisms since the series started. She made sure to pull out all the stops for the star-studded finale, opting for a braless, plunging custom-made white silk gown from Saint Hendrix. She wore her hair slicked back into a bun with several bejewelled clips. Alesha meanwhile, turned heads in a sequin-strewn see-through jump suit, which revealed her underwear. It's far from the first time the pair's looks have been complained about on the show. In July 2017, Amanda wore a plunging see-through Julien Macdonald dress. It went on to be the most complained about TV moment of the year. The mum-of-two joked the incident was a 'national crisis' at the time. She teased in Closer magazine: "I'm always asked about the Ofcom complaints, but every outfit on the show is checked before I leave my dressing room, so I'm never worried. I think people should have fun with fashion!" She went on: "I had bits of fish wire underneath my breasts trying to hold that together... It's all quite laughable, but all everyone seems to talk about. It's been called another national crisis – but, oh no, I will not be covered up."

Royal Ascot 2025, explained: Dates, race times, course guide and how to watch
Royal Ascot is British flat racing's most prestigious event and one of the highlights of the summer social season, with 35 races run over five days at the Berkshire racecourse. Aside from the sport, which features eight Group One races such as the Gold Cup, St James's Palace Stakes and Commonwealth Cup, it is a festival of fashion, hospitality and royal patronage. Last year, the King attended all five days bar Wednesday while the Queen was there for the entire showpiece. Royal Ascot is one of racing's most lucrative meetings with more than £10 million in prize money up for grabs. The two biggest prize pots of the week come in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes and the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes. When is Royal Ascot? The first day of Royal Ascot is Tuesday, June 17 with the final day of racing on Saturday, June 21. The first race of each day should start at 2.30pm with the last race at 6.15pm, before racegoers shuffle back to Ascot train station or wrestle their way out of one of many car parks. How do I watch it in the UK? Every race of the meeting is being broadcast live on ITV1, with coverage also available on Sky Sports Racing for subscribers. How do I watch in the US? Assisted by racing anchor Nick Luck, NBC's streaming service Peacock offers full coverage of the meeting, as will betting-orientated channel FanDuelTV. How can I buy tickets? Tickets can be booked via the Royal Ascot website. If you want access to the more exclusive Royal Enclosure though, you will need to be a member or a member's guest. Applicants for membership need to be sponsored by two current members as well as pay a £100 joining fee. Members can apply for Royal Enclosure badges from January each year. There are still tickets on general sale though, ranging from £35 for Tuesday access to the Windsor Enclosure to £99 in the Queen Anne Enclosure. Prices rise slightly on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. On those final three days, there is also the middle-tier option of the Village Enclosure, where attendees can enjoy a post-racing concert until 9pm. Racegoers can also choose to purchase a 'party package' for up to six people, with £116 per person for the Queen Anne Enclosure on Tuesday including two drinks tokens and a race programme. For those who want to take the weight off their feet, there are also a range of 'ticket enhancements' available, such as booking picnic tables in the Queen Anne or access to the Terrace Club. Demand is high for the extra comfort. Course guide Horses have run at Ascot since 1711, when Queen Anne decided the heathland was ideal for 'horses to gallop at full stretch' while out riding. That August, 100 guineas were on offer for the winner of Her Majesty's Plate, open to any horse over the age of six. Remarkably, the race consisted of three heats of four miles, so it is fair to say it was not a test of speed. Today, races at the Royal meeting are run on a mixture of the round course and the straight. The round course is a 14-furlong right-handed track, with a relatively short run-in of just two-and-a-half furlongs meaning it can be difficult to win from off the pace. The shorter races, such as the six-furlong Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes, are run along the straight in front of the grandstand.
