Heartbreak for the Kelces after death in family
The obituary describes Kelce as Maguire's 'beloved friend' but she has repeatedly been referred to as Ed's girlfriend amid the family's whirlwind rise to fame over the last three years. Once, according to an interview Ed gave to the LA Times, she even jokingly told Taylor Swift 'hey, that's my boyfriend' when the singer took a selfie with Travis and Jason's father at an NFL game.
'She also grew an unexpected love for football later in life, sharing many laughs and adventures with her beloved friend Ed Kelce and her loyal dog Butch,' the obituary said. 'Together, they traveled often and attended football games and concerts, and embraced every opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest.'
Ed and Donna Kelce, the mother of Travis and Jason, went their separate ways after nearly 25 years of marriage but have remained friends as their sons have become two of the most famous names in the NFL. 'I don't hate him. We're friends to this day. We get along great,' Donna once said of Ed.
'We were like a tag team with you two. We got to do all sorts of fun things. When one of you had to go out of town, the other person would help with the other child. It was perfect.' In a 2023 documentary about the family, Ed explained that he and Donna stayed together to be better parents. 'If we had split as we probably both would have preferred, that would have been a nightmare with the logistics, getting kids where they had to be and providing all the support,' he said.
In 2023, the Super Bowl was renamed 'the Kelce Bowl' due to the brothers facing each other on opposing teams when Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs beat Jason's Philadelphia Eagles. Later that year, the family were propelled into unprecedented levels of fame when Travis and Taylor went public with their romance.
Ed, who is also 74, recently told the Daily Mail in an exclusive interview how Maureen was with him when he met the Eras Tour star for the first time. Since then, he has forged a close bond with one of music's biggest ever stars. Swift even seemingly refers to Ed in her song 'So High School'. 'I feel like laughing in the middle of practice / To that impression you did of your dad again,' Swift sings — Travis has repeatedly performed an impersonation of his dad on his New Heights podcast, which he hosts with his brother Jason.
Ed has always spoken glowingly about Swift and her influence on his son — who affectionately calls him 'Papa'. He described her as 'a very smart, young lady' and 'a joy to be around' before February's Super Bowl. Donna was at Kansas City Chiefs training camp on Saturday, watching Travis prepare for the new season. The Chiefs tight end, 35, nearly retired after Kansas City lost this year's Super Bowl against the Eagles in New Orleans. At one stage, Kelce looked finished but eventually decided that he did not want to end his career on such a low note. The Chiefs start the new season in Brazil on September 5 against the Los Angeles Chargers before a Super Bowl rematch against the Eagles at Arrowhead on Week 2.

Barbie icon Margot Robbie is in talks to star in Tim Burton's Attack Of The Fifty Foot Woman remake
Margot Robbie is in talks to star in Tim Burton 's Attack Of The Fifty Foot Woman remake. The 35-year-old actress is being considered for the lead role in the 66-year-old filmmaker's upcoming movie for Warner Bros and she would also produce the film through her LuckyChap production company, according to The Insneider. The original 1958 classic is a science-fiction horror story which follows a wealthy heiress who grows into a giant after an alien encounter and goes on to take revenge on her cheating husband. It was revealed last year that Burton would direct and produce the remake, with Gone Girl author Gillian Flynn writing the script. Andrew Mittman and Tommy Harper are also producing with Kai Dolbashian as executive producer. However, Variety reports that Flynn exited the project due to other commitment after writing a first draft of the screenplay and the producing team is currently searching for a new writer. Margot's involvement would depend on the final version of the script. Meanwhile, Margot is set to produce the Ocean's prequel through her LuckyChap Entertainment banner and will also star in the movie alongside her Barbie cast mate Ryan Gosling. While story details are unknown, it was reported the Ocean's prequel would be set in 1960's Europe and would feature Robbie and Gosling as the parents of Danny (George Clooney) and Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock). Austin Powers filmmaker Jay Roach had initially been attached to direct the movie, but Twisters director Lee Isaac Chung is now helming the project. The first Ocean's 11 was released in 1960, and starred five members of the Rat Pack - Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop - as they tried to pull off the ultimate heist in Las Vegas. In 2001, the franchise was rebooted by director Steven Soderbergh, and starred George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt. Ocean's Eleven follows the charismatic thief Danny Ocean (Clooney) as he assembles a team of specialists to pull off an audacious heist: robbing three of Las Vegas's biggest casinos in a single night. As the elaborate plan unfolds, slick deception and personal stakes collide in a stylish game of risk and reward. The film was followed by the sequels Ocean's Twelve in 2004 and Ocean's Thirteen in 2007. Then in 2018, the series was continued with the all-female Ocean's 8, which starred Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter. The news comes days after Margot spent the day drinking shots at Wayne Lineker's iconic O Beach club in Ibiza. The self-confessed lover of partying - who previously professed her love for cheesy Clapham nightclub Infernos - jetted off to Ibiza last week. Margot was spotted at the club by its co-owner Tony Truman's daughter Kiki, who he shares with EastEnders star Charlie Brooks. Tony said the star ended up drinking shots with his daughter and the trio were seen beaming in a snap with Tony and Kiki while wearing a brown t-shirt wrap dress, with a red and gold patterned head scarf and aviator sunglasses. 'When your daughter casually introduces you to a Hollywood A lister @margotrobbieofficial and one of the most beautiful woman in the world on the @obeachibiza stage,' Tony wrote as he shared the snap. 'They both reacquainted there love of doing shots together. Kiki casually dropped that next time the two of them will be doing shots together will be when they celebrate doing a movie together. 'Let's hope so darling both very talented actresses who both love partying & Ibiza.' O Beach co-owner Wayne Lineker, the brother of footballer Gary Lineker, reshared the snap to his Instagram Story, writing: 'Hahaha typical I'm not there for once [eye roll].'
