Second suspect arrested, three others wanted after violent home invasion in east Windsor
Windsor police are providing an update on a violent home invasion in east Windsor earlier this year.
Officers have arrested a second suspect and issued warrants for three others.
Five suspects forced entry into a residence in the 2500 block of Luxury Avenue shortly after 11 p.m. on Jan. 13, 2025.

Police say two elderly victims were assaulted and bound. Both sustained non-life-threatening physical injuries.
The suspects stole a quantity of items before fleeing the scene in a Hyundai Tucson, which was stolen from the residence.
On Feb. 14, officers arrested and charged 25-year-old Manal Khalaf. She was charged with a total of nine offences, including break-and-enter to commit robbery, robbery with an offensive weapon, and assault causing bodily harm.
Investigators with the Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit have since identified four additional suspects.
Shortly before 10 a.m. on April 29, officers located and arrested Rana Chehada, 42, in the 2200 block of Highland Avenue. She has been charged with two counts of robbery with violence.
Arrest warrants have been issued for the remaining three suspects. Husien Khalaf, 27, Alaa Khalaf, 19, and a 17-year-old youth, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, are all wanted for the following charges:
Break-and-enter to commit robbery
Robbery with an offensive weapon
Robbery
Assault causing bodily harm
Assault with a weapon
Assault
Forcible confinement
Uttering death threats
Theft of a motor vehicle
Husien Khalaf is described as a Middle Eastern man, 5'3' tall, approximately 150 lbs, with a small build, full beard, black hair, and brown eyes.
Alaa Khalaf is described as a Middle Eastern man, 5'4' tall, approximately 119 lbs, with a small build, short black goatee, black hair, and brown eyes.

Teen charged after stabbing in northwest Regina

(David Prisciak/CTV News) Regina police have charged a teenage boy after an alleged stabbing in the city's northwest Sunday evening. Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Arnason Street after the victim approached a resident on the street and asked them to call EMS. The victim was suffering from what appeared to be multiple stab wounds, police say. Officers and paramedics arrived, and the victim was taken to hospital. His injuries have been described as non-life-threatening. Officers investigated and obtained a description of the suspect. A short time later, officers observed a man matching the description walking down Arnason Street. He was taken into custody and police say they found a knife in his possession. A 17-year-old — who cannot be named under a provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act — faces one count of aggravated assault, carrying a concealed weapon, failing to comply with the conditions of a release order and failing to comply with a disposition. The accused appeared in provincial court Monday morning.

Investigation concludes into Fredericton crash that killed two teens, young adult
Fredericton police have concluded an investigation into a triple fatality on Douglas Avenue last May. The incident occurred in the early hours of May 5, 2024, when a speeding car struck a tree and landed on another vehicle. Two males aged 22 and 17 and a female, aged 14, died at the scene. The two other passengers, a 15-year-old male and 14-year-old female, were brought to hospital with critical and minor injuries. The four occupants of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries. Police attempted to stop the vehicle when it passed on a different street but lost them as they were turning around to follow them. The crash happened several minutes later. 'Following a comprehensive investigation that included laboratory analysis and DNA testing, authorities have conclusively determined the identity of the individual who was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident,' Fredericton police said in a Facebook post.
