Maya Jama sets Amalfi style trend for summer on first holiday with Rúben Dias
Maya Jama has sent fans wild with her latest Instagram post, in which she officially 'hard launched' her relationship with Manchester City footballer Rúben Dias. The couple has been rumoured to have been together for months now, and it seems they've finally gone Instagram official.
As exciting as the official announcement is, another thing from the post caught our eye: Maya's enviable style, which seems to have sparked a new Amalfi fashion trend.
From monochromatic swimwear to cool-girl denim shorts and chic all white fits, Maya's Italian fashion looks have been on point and given us a little summer wardrobe inspo for the new season.
Unfortunately, we're not completely sure where the Love Island presenter's looks are from, and we're sure they're likely to blow the budget, so we've rounded up some similar styles you can shop on the high street if you want to channel that Dolce Vita lifestyle.
Where to shop looks similar to Maya's
Bermuda denim shorts
Of course, denim shorts are a summer staple that we can't go without. What we enjoy most about Maya's is that they aren't as long as Bermuda shorts or jorts but not small enough to show everything off. They look similar to Abercrombie's Curve Love denim shorts, which are perfect if you've got curves like Maya's, as they fit in all the right places and don't have that dreaded waist gap.
Equally, if you're looking for a pair slightly looser on the thighs, Wrangler's Cowboy Shorts are the ideal longer-length pair of shorts.
Monochrome bikini
Black-and-white bikinis are going to be a huge trend this summer, so it's no surprise to see someone as trendy as Maya already sporting one. Taking a leaf out of the Love Islander's style book, this tiny triangle bikini looks amazing on Maya, and we've found a super affordable one from New Look that looks just as good.
And if you're willing to splurge that little bit more we've found another alternative from Hunza G that features the same triangle shape (which is universally flattering for all bust sizes, by the way).
Silky slip skirt and vest
A silky slip skirt and vest is a summer holiday outfit formula that simply never fails, and here Maya is proving just that. Aboard her yacht on the Amalfi Coast, Maya rocked an all-white midi skirt and cami combo, teamed with her natural beachy waves.
This is such a versatile look that will take you from day to night, and we've found an under £20 skirt from H&M that looks far more expensive than its wallet-friendly price tag.
White summer dress
In Rúben's official Instagram couple post, Maya can be seen rocking a square-neck white dress just above the knee that totally nails that classy Italian lady look. Although the micro mini is back in, so are lengths that hit around the knee, whether above, below, or just on it. We're talking very 90s-style. And this is the perfect option if you're looking to cover your legs up that little bit.
The option we've found from Nobody's Child is slightly longer and more A-line than Maya's. However, we think it perfectly nails that 'Italian girl summer' aesthetic. Simply pair it with a basket bag, strappy sandals, and a silky headscarf.
With black, white, and denim at the forefront, Maya is proving that simplicity is key when it comes to summer dressing. We can't wait to see what looks she turns out when the new Love Island series kicks off.

Calvin Harris 'absolutely gutted' as he reveals his beloved cockerel has been killed in a savage attack by neighbours' dogs
Calvin Harris has revealed his heartbreak after his much-loved cockerel Smokey was savagely killed by his neighbours' dogs. The superstar DJ, 41, took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the sad news, posting a photo of himself holding the bird before the incident took place. Alongside the snap, Calvin - who was holding Smokey in the grounds of what appeared to be his Cotswolds home - wrote: 'Raised this lad from a chick to a majestic cockerel. 'Murdered by the idiot neighbours' grimey dogs. 'Absolutely gutted.' The music star added at the top of the story, set to Smokey Robinson & The Miracles' track My Love For You, which read: 'RIP Smokey we love you,' with a sad face emoji. Calvin's grief comes just a week after he and his wife, the broadcaster Vick Hope, 34, celebrated the arrival of their first child together. British DJ Calvin announced the arrival of their son Micah on his Instagram page on Monday afternoon and praised his spouse as a 'superhero'. BBC Radio 1 host Vick had a home water birth at their property in Ibiza, where she flew after beginning her maternity leave. Calvin shared a candid photograph of his wife laying in the birthing pool and a tender shot of himself with Micah moments after the birth. Alongside the series of photos, Calvin announced the birth and wrote: '20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here! My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah.' He included a graphic photograph of Vick's placenta, which was later turned into pills by drying and grinding the organ into a powder that's then encapsulated. This practice, called placentophagy, is believed by some to offer postpartum benefits. Some people believe eating the placenta can prevent postpartum depression; ease bleeding after delivery; promote a healthy hormone balance in the body; improve mood, energy and milk supply; and provide important nutrients, such as iron. But there's no evidence that eating the placenta has health benefits. The Feel So Close hitmaker splits his time between the UK and his 138-acre farm in Ibiza, where he grows vegetables and keeps animals. Smokey was a treasured part of his rural life. His Cotswolds retreat is no ordinary home ‑ he and his wife are nearing completion of a grand three‑storey mansion on a 10‑acre estate in the Gloucestershire countryside, replacing an old post‑war house with a honey‑coloured Cotswold‑stone build designed by celebrated Royal Family architect Ben Pentreath. He originally purchased the property in 2019 for £3.6 million, and alongside demolishing the old structure, he also acquired two neighbouring homes, reportedly bringing his total investment in the area - including builds - to around £15 million. The newly built home includes a swimming pool, tennis court, gym, hot‑yoga studio, glasshouses, staff quarters, a pond, and a wildlife observation pod - all nestled within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
