Here's your first look at Battlefield 6
The new game, dubbed Battlefield 6, takes place during some kind of wide-ranging war; the debut trailer opens with a presidential address punctuated by explosions and destruction that seem to be happening all over the world. There's not much in the way of gameplay in the trailer, but it looks like Battlefield 6 will focus heavily on spectacle and set-pieces. A reveal of the game's multiplayer is coming on July 31st where we'll presumably be able to see more of it in action.
Here's the official description from EA:
The trailer offers a first look at Pax Armata, a Private Military Corporation bankrolled by former NATO states whose agenda threatens to throw the world into global conflict. This sets the scene for what players can expect on the battlefield — both in multiplayer and the return of the series' single player campaign.
In Battlefield 6, the series' incredible blend of visceral combat, epic warfare, and player freedom returns. Blow through walls and bring down buildings for a tactical advantage or take to the skies in white-knuckle dogfights. Take part in a war filled with tanks, fighter jets, and sweeping combat at a grand scale but remember: the deadliest weapon is your squad.
It's not clear yet when the game will launch, nor on what platforms, thought leaks have pointed to an October debut on current-gen consoles and PC.
Battlefield 6 is also a massive production, being developed by four different studios under the banner 'Battlefield Studios.' They include original developer DICE; Burnout and Need for Speed studio Criterion; EA Motive, the team behind the Dead Space remake; and a relatively new team known as Ripple Effect.
It's a major moment for EA, particularly after the most recent game in the series — 2021's Battlefield 2042 — 'did not meet expectations,' according to the company. Battlefield 6 will be entering a market that is no less competitive, going up against annual Call of Duty releases, including this year's Black Ops 7, and entrenched live-service shooters like Fortnite.

Brie Bella Reveals The ‘Roadblock' In The Way Of Her WWE Return
Brie Bella says there might be something — or someone, rather — getting in the way of her possible return to WWE. Nikki Bella made her WWE in-ring return earlier this year, and she's made subsequent appearances at WWE Evolution and on RAW. When the Bellas do press for their respective projects, one or both are usually asked when Brie will be coming back. Brie Bella has addressed this on a few occasions, claiming that she was just waiting for the phone call from WWE. However, Brie now shared that this particular comment was designed to keep interviews moving. During a new solo-hosting episode of the Nikki & Brie show, Brie was talking about the various 'roadblocks' in her life. 'There's been what I can consider a roadblock, but it's also a good sign. And that's where I make a joke because I've been on red carpets or in interviews. There's one question that I constantly get asked. And it is, 'When will we see you back in the ring?' As if I have that power. And I always make a joke because when I'm in interviews. I don't want to ever answer something serious because usually it's a quick question and they need a quick answer. So I have constantly made the joke, 'Oh, waiting on the call.' Which in some ways, can be true. And in some ways, I am just saying something cheeky and sweet so I can get on to the next question. Brie Bella says her husband in AEW is her roadblock with WWE After mentioning why she answers this way, Brie said she believes the roadblock to her in-ring return is the fact that her husband, Bryan Danielson, is employed by AEW. Brie noted that people are entitled to be uncomfortable with the situation, but she sees it as a potential sign. 'But what I wanted to bring up, because I feel like, ok, it's something that's important in these solo episodes, is to open up to all of you [about] what I'm going through so I can help some of you. But when I look at that, I know my roadblock is the fact that my husband is with the rival company,' Brie Bella said. 'For some people, it makes them uncomfortable at WWE, thinking I would be there while my husband is with AEW. 'And you know what? That's ok,' she continued. 'I've looked at that roadblock as people have the right to feel. If people feel uncomfortable, they're uncomfortable, and that's ok. They have that right. Does it bum me out sometimes when I wish their feelings were different? Absolutely. But, it doesn't make me angry and it doesn't make me bitter. It makes me [realize] that that is a sign that I am supposed to be staying in my 'soft girl era.' I Take These Plug-and-Play Modular Speakers Everywhere
Doing a quick search for Bluetooth speakers online gets me dozens upon dozens of options, which quickly becomes pretty overwhelming, even though I review these products for CNET. There are the more popular Bluetooth speaker options, and the safe buys, like the JBL Charge 6 and the Soundcore Boom 2 by Anker, both of which I've personally used. But each Bluetooth speaker serves a different purpose so if I'm buying a new speaker, I need to think about what I want out of it. What I'm looking for is a versatile speaker. One that's portable but sounds high-quality. One that I can use at home and in the office or toss up at a backyard party. That's where Rocksteady's Stadium 2.0 speakers come in. I can connect an unlimited number of high-quality speakers with the Stadium, including a wireless sub-woofer, for any summer activity I have going on. They're wireless, portable and have up to 30 hours of battery. A Bluetooth speaker that can morph from travel companion to full-blown party setup Rocksteady's Stadium 2.0 kits all strive to do what most other Bluetooth speakers can't easily do: scale from a single bedside speaker to a backyard surround sound rig, all without the tangle of cables, and still provide high-quality sound. Yeah, it is a little expensive at $600, but if you have the money, it offers the most versatility because you can connect as few or as many speakers as you need for whatever occasion. This is the setup I use the most for everything from backyard barbecues and parties at Airbnbs to listening parties and movie nights. Setting up all your speakers is as easy as a tap of a button Getting the Stadium 2.0 up and running is pretty simple. You can power on any speaker and then hit the Bluetooth icon to pair it to your phone -- you should see a unique "Rocksteady_XXXX" ID. That first speaker will become the host. After that, simply hit the Stadium button on the host and then on each extra satellite speaker, or wireless sub, to add it to the mesh. It takes about 15 seconds to pair all of the speakers into one, and the best thing about it is that your speakers remember this lineup, so the next time you turn them on, they'll all automatically connect, without you having to re-pair them. There are buttons to connect to bluetooth, pair with other speakers, pause and play music, skip songs and adjust the volume. And the four-speaker kit comes with a carrying case, so it's easy to travel with all your speakers. On the side you'll find controls to switch the speaker designation (left, both, right), plug in an aux cable and charge the speaker (USB-C).
