Linkin Park Blocked From A Landmark No. 1 Hit By Two Hard Rock Stars
Linkin Park's 'Let You Fade' debuts at No. 2 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart, losing to ... More Marilyn Manson and Falling In Reverse's 'God Is a Weapon.' MONTERREY, MEXICO - FEBRUARY 5: Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, performs during a concert as part of the 'From Zero World Tour' at Estadio Banorte on February 5, 2025 in Monterrey, Mexico. (Photo by Medios) Linkin Park recently released a deluxe version of its comeback album From Zero, which arrived on May 16. The expanded set, which bolts up the Billboard charts this week thanks to a surge in sales and streams, features three new tracks, though only one had not been previously shared. Following the full-length project dropping as a complete effort, its one brand new cut, 'Let You Fade,' debuts on a number of rankings this week. The tune nearly grants the hard rockers another No. 1, but two other stars keep the band from the top spot. 'Let You Fade' launches at No. 2 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. According to Luminate, in its first full tracking frame of availability, the track sold just under 1,600 copies. The song is held from the summit by 'God Is a Weapon,' the new collaboration between Falling in Reverse and Marilyn Manson. That tune opens at No. 1 on the same tally and beats Linkin Park's latest by roughly 500 pure purchases. 'Let You Fade' marks Linkin Park's thirty-second top 10 hit on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. It would have been the group's landmark fifteenth No. 1, but for now, the band will have to settle for a close second — just shy of the summit. The new track is one of several Linkin Park cuts to narrowly miss leading the tally. As it arrives, it joins fellow fan favorites like 'What I've Done,' 'Lost in the Echo,' 'Wastelands,' and 'More the Victim,' all of which peaked at No. 2 over the years. Manson earns his fourth No. 1 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart as 'God Is a Weapon' debuts. Falling in Reverse, meanwhile, secures its milestone tenth leader. While Linkin Park doesn't add to its count this time, it's worth noting that the Grammy-winning band has already accrued as many No. 1s as both of those chart-toppers combined.

Linkin Park Scores Back-To-Back New Top 10 Singles
Linkin Park's new single 'Unshatter' debuts inside the top 10 on four Billboard charts, marking ... More another major win ahead of the band's upcoming From Zero deluxe release. LONDON, ENGLAND - SEPTEMBER 24: Emily Armstrong of Linkin Park performs during the 'From Zero World Tour' at The O2 Arena on September 24, 2024 in London, England. (Photo by) On May 16, Linkin Park will release the deluxe edition of From Zero. The standard version of the album dropped in the fall of 2024 and was promoted with a slew of hugely successful singles. The collection proved that the band, which had been out of the spotlight for years, could still produce radio smashes and continued to command a massive fanbase. Two tracks from the upcoming expanded project have already been shared, and one of them debuts inside the top 10 on multiple Billboard rankings this week in the U.S. "Unshatter" is the second official single from the deluxe edition of From Zero. It arrives just about a month after "Up from the Bottom," which also became a big Billboard success. This week, "Unshatter" lands on five tallies published by the music magazine. It opens inside the top 10 on all but one of them, thanks largely to about 1,400 pure purchases, according to Luminate. Linkin Park's "Unshatter" hits No. 3 as it arrives on both the Alternative Digital Song Sales and Hard Rock Digital Song Sales charts. That's the highest position it reaches on any list. On the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart, it's bested by Sleep Token's 'Damocles,' which also leads the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales ranking. On the former list, "Messy" by Lola Young drops from No. 1 to No. 2, while former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar debuts his tribute to Eddie Van Halen titled 'Encore (Thank You, Goodnight)' in the runner-up spot on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. "Unshatter" also begins its time on both the Rock Digital Song Sales and Hot Hard Rock Songs charts, kicking off at Nos. 5 and 6, respectively. The same new Linkin Park single is also present on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, Billboard's most important tally dedicated to individual tunes in those genres. The band's track barely becomes a top 40 win, as it gets its start at No. 38. Throughout the decades, Linkin Park has collected dozens of smashes on most of these rankings. It has accrued the fewest appearances on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, as "Unshatter" marks the band's twenty-first placement. The group has earned the most entries on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs list, where it has collected a total of 51 placements.

Marilyn Manson Charts Another No. 1 — And Several New Top 10s
Marilyn Manson's cover of "In the Air Tonight" debuts at No. 1 on Billboard's Hard Rock Digital Song ... More Sales chart and hits five rankings in its first week. HOLLYWOOD, CA - MAY 08: Marilyn Manson attends the premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures' "King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword" at TCL Chinese Theatre on May 8, 2017 in Hollywood, California. (Photo by) Despite serious controversies and legal issues, Marilyn Manson's fanbase has remained loyal. The rocker returns to the Billboard charts this week with brand new music, and he scores another immediate No. 1 right out of the gate with his latest tune. It seems that those who have followed his work for years are still intent on snapping up anything he delivers — especially the moment it becomes available. Manson and his band recently covered "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins. The track has become a surprise bestseller in several nations, especially in the United States. This frame, the tune launches on five Billboard charts, most of which are dedicated to pure purchases. It opens inside the top 10 on all but one of them, and even gives Manson another ruler to his credit. "In the Air Tonight" opens at No. 1 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. Despite his longstanding success in that genre, Manson has now collected just three No. 1s on this list, and he only began earning them fairly recently after Billboard introduced the tally, which focuses solely on the bestselling hard rock cuts throughout the U.S., just a few years ago. Manson first hit No. 1 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart in August 2020 with "We Are Chaos." He doubled his sum in August of the following year — which is becoming a special month for the musician — when "Sick of the Secrets Within" launched in first place. Both tunes held the top spot for just one frame. Throughout his career, Manson has scored a lucky 13 top 10s on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. A few of those tracks — such as his cover of "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)," as well as "Deep Six" and "Raise the Red Flag" — missed out on the summit by just one space. He has pushed a total of 16 tracks onto the tally, with only three failing to reach the uppermost region. "In the Air Tonight" just misses out on becoming a No. 1 on two other rankings at the same time. It starts at No. 2 on both the Alternative Digital Song Sales and Rock Digital Song Sales charts. It marks Manson's fifth top 10 on the alternative list and sixth on the rock-only ranking. Manson also collects his fifth top 10 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs ranking this time around. "In the Air Tonight" debuts at No. 10, just barely managing to sneak into that uppermost region on the roster, which measures the most consumed and most popular hard rock-only smashes in the nation. In its first full tracking frame of availability, Manson's cover of "In the Air Tonight" sold just under 2,200 copies, according to Luminate. That sum is just enough to bring it to the Digital Song Sales chart, where it launches at No. 22. That position now marks a new all-time high for Manson on the list of the bestselling songs in America. His previous best (and only other hit), "God's Gonna Cut You Down," spent one week at No. 37 half a decade ago. The ranking now only features 25 spots, so "God's Gonna Cut You Down" wouldn't have even reached the roster this time around.

Limp Bizkit Charts A Brand New Top 10 Hit, With Help From Netflix
Limp Bizkit's 'Rollin'' debuts at No. 10 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart after a sync in ... More Netflix's Devil May Cry reminds people how much they love the tune. UNSPECIFIED - circa 1970: Photo of FESTIVALS and CROWDS and AUDIENCE and LIMP BIZKIT (Photo by Mick Hutson/Redferns) Limp Bizkit is back on the Billboard charts this week, but not with a new release. Instead, the nu metal band sees one of its oldest tracks finally earn a new home more than two decades after it first dropped. 'Rollin'' appears on one Billboard ranking for the first time ever, and it doesn't just show up — it rocks straight into the top 10. Limp Bizkit's 'Rollin'' debuts at No. 10 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart this week. The track narrowly manages to find space on Billboard's list of the bestselling tracks in that one genre, as the tally now features just 10 spaces. Any time a tune arrives, it becomes a top 10 hit, and the rockers add another smash to their list of wins. 'Rollin'' becomes Limp Bizkit's fourth top 10 hit on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. It's also the group's sixth appearance on the tally overall. While the chart now only features 10 positions, it used to run longer. Prior to this frame, Limp Bizkit had already reached the uppermost tier with 'Break Stuff' (No. 3), 'Dad Vibes' (No. 4), and 'Ready to Go' with Lil Wayne (No. 6). The sudden success of 'Rollin'' can be attributed to Devil May Cry, Netflix's new action-packed animated series. Based on the beloved video game franchise, the show premiered in early April and was quickly renewed for a second season thanks to strong viewership numbers and a warm reception from critics. The series features several hard rock staples, but 'Rollin'' appears to be the clear breakout from the soundtrack. It's the one cut that's gained the most traction across digital platforms, and, seemingly, sold the best. Limp Bizkit's presence on the charts in America this frame isn't limited to just one title. 'Break Stuff,' another fan favorite from the group's heyday, is also growing. This week, it lifts from No. 21 to No. 18 on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart. The title has now spent 109 frames on that ranking and previously climbed as high as No. 7. 'Rollin'' was first released in 2000 as a single from Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water. That laughably-titled album turned out to be a huge commercial success, as it reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has already been certified six-times platinum. The song became one of Limp Bizkit's most recognizable anthems, earning massive airplay and becoming a staple of early 2000s rock radio. Now, nearly 25 years later, it's experiencing a second wave of success, with a little help from Netflix.

Linkin Park Charts A Brand New No. 1 In America
Linkin Park's 'Up From the Bottom' hits No. 1 on Billboard's Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart, ... More adding another win to the band's long list of rock smashes. HAMBURG, GERMANY - SEPTEMBER 22: (EDITOR'S NOTE: alternative crop) Mike Shinoda and Emily Armstrong of Linkin Park perform at Barclays Arena on September 22, 2024 in Hamburg, Germany. (Photo by Joern Pollex/Redferns) Linkin Park is back on top. The band, which has been known to dominate Billboard's rock charts regularly, returns to familiar territory this week as its latest single becomes a quick leader. The track 'Up From the Bottom' vaults to No. 1 on one ranking shortly after arriving, as it's clear that there was a huge interest in more new music from the outfit. Last week, 'Up From the Bottom' earned a limited showing across Billboard's rankings. It managed to debut on just two tallies, primarily due to its late arrival during one tracking frame. Despite that handicap, it still managed to emerge as a quick bestseller, opening high on both the Rock Digital Song Sales and Hard Rock Digital Song Sales charts. This week, with a full frame of sales, streams, and radio spins behind it, the cut leaps across the board. On the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales tally, the group climbs from No. 5 to No. 1, landing a new leader on the genre-specific list. As it soars, 'Up From the Bottom' becomes Linkin Park's fourteenth No. 1 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. In 2024, the band collected two new winners, as both 'The Emptiness Machine' and 'Heavy Is the Crown,' taken from the full-length From Zero, reached the pinnacle of the tally. Those tracks held on for two and three frames at No. 1, respectively. 'Up From the Bottom' is the latest addition to an already-impressive résumé. Throughout the years, Linkin Park has watched several of its most beloved tracks not just reach No. 1, but stay there for a long time. 'Burn It Down' leads as the band's longest-reigning champion, as it once held the top spot for an incredible 29 weeks. Another standout, 'In the End' — the breakout single that helped define the band as global superstars — dominated the same chart for 11 frames. Linkin Park has placed 40 different songs onto the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales list, and an astounding 30 of those have broken into the top 10. Now that the track has had a full tracking week to perform, it reaches several other tallies. 'Up From the Bottom' debuts on more than 10 additional Billboard charts, and it's an immediate smash on several of them. The single is performing best on the rock-leaning rankings, which comes as no surprise. It lands inside the top 10 on half a dozen different tallies, including some that factor in streaming and radio play, as well as pure purchases. 'Up From the Bottom' is not a standalone hit. The song serves as the lead single from a deluxe reissue of From Zero, the band's most recent full-length, which is expected sometime soon. That album dropped in late 2024 and was framed as a comeback effort, as it arrived more than half a decade after the death of Chester Bennington. Despite the tragedy, the band pushed forward, and From Zero quickly became a commercial and critical win. Its opening single, 'The Emptiness Machine,' helped drive early success, while follow-up tunes – every single one on the project, actually – became a chart win in one respect or another.
