The Last Of Us star Bella Ramsey, 21, looks in good spirits as they get measured for iconic Madame Tussauds waxwork in London

Daily Mail22-04-2025
Bella Ramsey looked in good high spirits as they attended a measuring session at Madam Tussauds for their first figure in the London attraction on Wednesday.
The actor, 21, who is non-binary, had their facial features measured by staff and was seen having their limbs measured for the lifestyle figure.
Bella's model will feature in the Awards Party zone at the London attraction and will reportedly be on show later this year.
The Last Of Us star had their skin tone matched as well as their long brunette tresses and eye colour so it will be identical to them.
Bella flashed their gorgeous smile as they held up a box of eye balls while trying to find the perfect colour to match.
The Game Of Thrones star rocked a plain black T-shirt before changing into a smart green blazer, white shirt and a red tie.
Bella is known for their breakthrough role as young noblewoman Lyanna Mormont in the HBO fantasy TV series Game of Thrones and as Ellie in drama series The Last of Us.
It comes after Bella and co-star Pedro Pascal reacted to Sunday's episode of HBO 's The Last Of Us which brought the tragic death of a beloved lead character.
The show follows Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) as they navigate a post-apocalyptic environment following a global fungal infection that turns many into zombie-like creatures.
Season 2 - which debuted last week - takes place five years after the first season, and introduces fans to one of the most hated characters in the video games the show is based on - Abby (Kaitlyn Dever).
With the introduction of Abby and her group making it to Jackson Hole, Wyoming where Joel and Ellie have settled, many fans familiar with the games predicted that this second episode would mark the death of a main character.
Those who theorized that death would happen were proven correct, with Joel meeting a rather brutal death at the hands of Abby, right in front of Ellie who swore to kill Abby, setting up the driving force for the rest of the season.
After the episode aired, both Pedro and Bella reacted to the tragic death in new interviews with Entertainment Weekly.
Bella said that no one on the set wanted to talk about the death, adding, 'I think it was a hushed thing, like scary words that no one wants to utter.'

'It feels like too big of a thing to just speak about it,' Bella added, while series creator/showrunner Craig Mazin added how important the moment was.
'When it came time to discuss it with other people [outside of production], we were circumspect,' Mazin said.
'Everybody really cared about making sure that this felt like what it was, which was an event we all respected,' he added.
Pedro did not play the 2020 video game The Last of Us Part II - where his character Joel is killed off fairly early on - but he knew his fate right from the start.
Even though he didn't play The Last of Us Part II, the 2020 video game on which season 2 is based, Pedro knew this would be his character's fate from the moment he accepted the job.
'It's not like they said, "Hey, we kill you at the beginning of season 2," but it was always an understanding that it would stay true to the source material in a specific way and that the, let's say, practical and exclusive obligation would be for season 1. It was just a matter of how and when,' Pascal said.

Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool stars' 'DMs to Sydney Sweeney' revealed

Sydney Sweeney has been branded as the "most wanted woman in America", with the Euphoria star reportedly being bombarded with messages from Premier League stars in the wake of her split Hollywood star Sydney Sweeney has been inundated with DMs from Premier League footballers following her recent split. The 27-year-old, dubbed 'the sexiest woman in the world ', is now single after parting ways with her former partner, producer Jonathan Davino, earlier this year. ‌ The couple started dating in 2018 and got engaged in 2022 but have now called off the wedding. Sydney, who rose to fame with her role in the hit HBO series Euphoria, has also starred in such films as 'Anyone But You' and 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood', and she is reportedly now enjoying the single life stateside post-breakup. ‌ However, she's also caught the attention of some of England's top footballers, who have offered to jet her off to Europe for romantic rendezvous. This comes after she snubbed Conor McGregor at a party. ‌ An insider revealed to The Sun: "Her Instagram DMs are packed with messages from famous men trying to get in contact with her. It's mostly guys playing for teams like Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal," reports the Daily Star. "They offer her trips to Europe to see them and take her on a date, but she's not the kind of person who does that. Some of them are very insistent and have even tried to find her address to send her flowers, but she always refuses. "I'd say more than 100 people, from celebs to millionaires or very rich people from the Middle East and Asia, contact her every month." Her friends are now reportedly teasing that she's become "the most wanted woman in America since Madonna." Despite the playful tone of some admirers, Sweeney doesn't hesitate to hit back at any overzealous suitors stepping out of line. The source said: "The ones who cross the line of respect are quickly blocked. Not long ago, an American actor who had recently divorced approached her to take her on a date. ‌ "She declined and he started being very rude, so she told him to stop talking to her and to show some respect to her and all women." It was rumoured that Sydney and Jonathan's romance had been on shaky ground for a while before they called it quits. Sweeney's jam-packed filming diary is said to have played a part in the split, with her taking on both executive producer duties and the lead role in her latest project, The Housemaid. In May, she opened up about enjoying her newfound single status, saying: "I'm learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I'm loving it." Sweeney has also made waves recently after starring in a campaign for American Eagle. In the advert, she confidently posed sans bra, accompanied by the punchy tagline: "Sydney Sweeney has great jeans".

Charity shop worker floored after receiving unusual donation 'worth thousands'

A charity shop worker was left stunned after a man donated hundreds of vintage Barbie dolls and accessories, but fans of the Mattel toys were saddened for one heart-breaking reason Charity shops are a great place to find bargains, and lots of thrifty shoppers love to share their hauls on social media. However, volunteers in the industry also like to show off some of the incredible donations they receive. ‌ One charity shop worker, Bella, was left gobsmacked by the size and value of a generous contribution from a member of the public. Unable to hide her shock, the volunteer admitted on TikTok: "This father and son just walked into my work and donated their grandma's whole Barbie collection since she passed away." Bella revealed that her video didn't show "even half" of the dolls the shop received. ‌ ‌ "She had her own collectors' encyclopaedia which was marked up with tabs of which ones she had," Bella added of the huge collection. Recording footage in the shop, Bella began by offering a glimpse of dozens of vintage boxed Barbie dolls, many of which appeared to be still sealed. From a Coca Cola edition of Soda Fountain Sweetheart Barbie from 1996 to the Sentimental Valentine Barbie from the same year, each item was in pristine condition, complete with accessories. A third 1996 edition followed in the form of Barbie at Bloomindales, as well as a Graduation Barbie from the year after. ‌ Next, Bella revealed an Avon exclusive collaboration with Mattel in the form of Winter Rhapsody Barbie (also 1996) as well as a number of other Special Occasion dolls from the same decade. Collaborations with American retailers Target and Chuck E. Cheese were documented next, along with earlier 1990s editions of Enchanted Evening Barbie and Got Milk Barbie. Bella was far from finished, however, providing her followers with a peek of countless more Barbie dolls - notably Holiday Memories Barbie, Barbie as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Oreo Fun Barbie and Baywatch Barbie. ‌ The video viral, amassing more than 1.1million views at the time of writing and leaving some Barbie fans in awe - while others pointed out a rather tragic observation. "This collection was supposed to be handed down to a granddaughter or daughter, this is so wrong," expressed one TikTok user. A second concurred: "As time passes and their grief settles, I'm sure they'll regret doing that." A third person vented: "This makes me so sad. It feels like these were a reflection of all the women she could have been if she hadn't been stuck raising an ungrateful family." Meanwhile a fourth TikTok user aptly pointed out: "This is exactly the message the Barbie Movie was trying to get across. They're just Ken's, they don't understand!" Responding more positively, meanwhile, one individual remarked: "How nice that they donated these though, and didn't just throw them away. My guess is that they didn't have anyone in their family to appreciate them as much as your charity does." And another pondered: "Donated? Instead of selling them? They are good people." Whilst a third noted: "That collection looks priceless - I bet Mattel would be interested in it. That should be in a museum or a school where kids can play with them. That collection was meant for someone."

Jason Momoa's Chief of War crew 'blessed' by volcano erupting for first time in decades

A volcano erupted for the first time in over three decades while Apple TV's Chief of War was filming in Hawaii Te Kohe Tuhaka, star of Chief of War, has shared a remarkable moment of natural beauty that occurred during the filming of Apple TV+'s highly praised new historical drama. ‌ The series, which stars, is co-written and executive produced by Jason Momoa, sees the Game of Thrones actor take on the role of real-life Hawaiian warrior Ka'iana during the turbulent turn of the 19th Century. ‌ The show delves into Pacific Island history in an unprecedented way, featuring a predominantly Polynesian cast who shot most of their scenes in New Zealand. ‌ However, some key moments were filmed in Hawaii itself, including an ambitious sequence set against the backdrop of Kalapana's lava fields. In an extraordinary coincidence, the Mauna Loa volcano erupted for the first time in three decades while filming was ongoing, and ceased just as the cast wrapped up their final scenes, reports the Express. ‌ Momoa described the awe-inspiring moment in an interview with Entertainment Weekly: "You can't write that s***. "You're obviously stirring up a lot of spirits and mana. It was unbelievable, but there was a really positive energy." Express Online recently had the opportunity to speak with Momoa's co-star Tuhaka, who plays Ka'iana's brother Namakeʻ, about the ambitious production of Chief of War. ‌ "We arrived, our first day of the shoot, the volcano goes off," the New Zealand actor remembered. "And then, when we wrapped, as soon as our last day there, wrap was called, boom. It stopped. "It was intense and beautiful at the same time, and pretty overwhelming. Especially when we were setting up shots with lots of warriors and extras going on, fight extras." ‌ Teasing that viewers will witness the spectacle themselves during the episode, he continued: "You can see the glow from the volcano. "It was a beautiful thing to be a part of, and culturally I was just like, 'Whoa, that is a sign'." Momoa, Tuhaka and the programme's entire cast all appeared to interpret the unexpected eruption as a positive omen that Chief of War is honouring Hawaii's rich history and culture properly. ‌ "Because of the way I love my culture I read into those things quite a lot," Tuhaka reveals. ‌ "Personally, from my perspective, I went, 'Oh, that is a beautiful sign, a beautiful Hawaiian sign that this is something that is waking up the land in some way'." Regarding the actual content of the scene, the actor is remaining tight-lipped about spoilers. Nevertheless, he did reveal there'll be an exciting action sequence in the series finale that's absolutely worth waiting for. "Without giving too much away, there is a scene in [episode] nine... that's all I can really say to it," he hinted. "But it was physically demanding, it required an intense focus which I haven't had to lean into before and it caps everything off really, really nicely. Ep nine, epic scene. So, keep watching."
