ITV Emmerdale fans pray for couple not to get back together

Their on-again, off-again relationship has been a central storyline for many years.
With Robert's recent return to Emmerdale following his release from prison, he interrupted Aaron's wedding to Robert's half-brother, John Sugden, sparking questions about their future together.
ITV Emmerdale fans pray for couple not to get back together
Following Robert's return on the ITV soap, fans have been discussing the couple and whether they want them to reunite.
A post was made on the r/Emmerdale Reddit page, with the caption: "Is anyone else rooting for Aaron and Robert to get back together? It isn't even just about not liking John, I just really liked them two as a couple!"
However, some fans were quick to shut down the idea of the couple getting back together.
One said: "I appreciate the love story but I think they are better apart now. (Though we all know that won't happen).
"Robert needs to focus on himself. As does Aaron."
A second said: "Nope, they're a terrible couple who have never made any sense, same with John and Aaron."
Another fan added: "No chemistry IMO and bad for each other because they are both toxic and violent in their own rights."

However, other fans disagreed and would love to see the pair come together once more.
"They sparkle and crackle on screen, so I can't wait for them to get back together. A slow burn would be amazing," said one fan.
Another said: "Can't wait for them to be reunited, but it has to be at the right time for both characters. Looking forward to seeing it all play out."
When did Ryan Hawley return to Emmerdale as Robert Sugden?
Actor Ryan Hawley played Robert Sugden on Emmerdale between 2014 and 2019 before quitting the show to "take on other roles".
He was written out of the show in an "explosive" storyline which saw him kill his sister Victoria's rapist Lee Posner accidentally.
Robert hit Lee with a shovel, and he fell, hitting his head on a rock.
Robert pleaded guilty to the crime and was sentenced to 14 years in prison for murder, but returned to the show in June.
Despite initially being reported as a guest stint, it was confirmed soon after that he was being reintroduced permanently.
Many fans were excited to see Robert's return to the village.
One said: "I almost shouted a big YES!!! Now hurry up and get rid of John."

A second said: "The king is back! Aaron is struggling to hide his delight at the end there. No way he will be able to resist a bit of Robert."
A third fan added: "I don't mean to be dramatic but this man's return has genuinely changed the trajectory of my entire decade."
Emmerdale is available to watch live and on demand via ITV and ITVX.

Bradley Walsh reveals The Chase 'ban' and says 'I'd be fired'

The Chase host Bradley Walsh has been presenting the ITV gameshow since it first aired in 2009 and appeared on BBC's The One Show ahead of the new series. Bradley Walsh has cautioned he'd be "fired" from The Chase if he implemented any major alterations. ‌ The cherished host, 65, has fronted the ITV quiz show since it launched in 2009, and is set to grace our screens again with a fresh series. ‌ Nevertheless, Bradley has assured viewers it won't differ from the usual format. ‌ Whilst appearing on The One Show tonight (Friday 15 August), Bradley faced questions about his hectic timetable. "You've got The Chase coming up, you've got Beat The Chasers as well, anything different we can expect from these series?" presenter Clara Amfo enquired, reports Bristol Live. Bradley promptly responded: "No they're the same, they're what you see on the tin. "I'm not allowed to do anything different, I think I'd get fired if I did anything different. "You've got to stick to the rules, and stick to the format." ‌ He continued: "You can have a laugh in between." This follows Bradley confessing he doesn't object to being perceived as "old and grumpy" whilst discussing his altered attitude towards the projects he accepts given his packed schedule. ‌ He revealed: "People say to me 'you never stop working', but here's the thing, and I tell every young performer this, 'if you enjoy the job you do, you will never do a day's work in your life'. "It's as simple as that. I try and have as much time as I possibly can off, but I just love what I do." The Gladiators host went on to tell My Weekly magazine: "As you know, the older you get, the more belligerent you get. I'm 65 now. "Do you know what age and experience brings? Freedom. Because you can say, 'Absolutely not. No, I'm not doing that. I don't want to go there'. "And people will just remark, 'He's just old and grumpy', well, that's fine by me." The Chase is available to watch on ITVX. The One Show airs weekdays from 7pm on BBC One and iPlayer

Original stars of iconic 00s horror spoof franchise return for reboot

Scary Movie fans, it's time to get excited as Regina Hall and Anna Faris have officially returned for the upcoming reboot. The first film hit the big screen in July 2000, and became a huge hit, parodying some of the biggest horrors around, including I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scream, Halloween and the Blair Witch Project. Keenen Ivory Wayans directed the first two films, while Shawn and Marlon Wayans wrote and starred in them. Last year, it was announced that another instalment of the spoof franchise was on the way with the Wayans brothers on board, more than a decade after the fifth one was released. After intense speculation, Anna and Regina – who played Cindy Campbell and Brenda Meeks in the first four films – have now confirmed they will be returning to the fold. In a joint statement via Deadline, they said: 'We can't wait to bring Brenda and Cindy back to life and be reunited with our great friends Keenen, Shawn and Marlon – three men we'd literally die for (in Brenda's case, again.)' Unsurprisingly, fans were delighted by the announcement and flocked to social media to share their excitement for the sequel. Reddit user Sully9614 celebrated: 'The world needs Anna Faris in dumb comedies again. Excited to see these 2 again!!' 'I can't wait to see what they do with the amazing influx of horror we have had the last few years,' TakedownMoreCorn cheered. Fontainesmemory commented: 'For me personally they litrealyl couldn't make this without Regina lol she was sooo funny [sic].' As Radioactivetoon added: 'Regina Hall is the real star of this series. She's absolutely hilarious. Without her, it's not the same. I'm glad she's back.' According to the outlet, the Wayans brothers are penning the script with Rick Alvarez, with untitled Scary Movie 6 project slated to be released next June. The first Scary Movie followed a group of teenagers accidentally hitting a man with their car and dumping his body in a lake – before they find themselves stalked by a killer in a Ghostface mask a year later. It raked in more than $270million at the global box office and spawned an entire series, with Scary Movie 2 released the following year. Marlon confirmed their involvement in the sixth instalment last year, posing with a Ghostface parody in a picture. 'WE'RE BACK!!! After nearly 20 years, the Wayans brothers are finally going to give the fans what they've been asking for… a return to the SCARY MOVIE franchise,' he cheered. 'We're looking forward to having fun on the big screen again.' More Trending Teasing the upcoming follow-up, the brothers told Deadline: 'We couldn't be more excited to be a part of the new Scary Movie and work with each other again. 'This is a franchise we created more than 20 years ago. We remember people laughing in the aisles and hope to see that happen again. 'We look forward to working with Jonathan Glickman and his team at the new Miramax to bring these laughs to theaters, where they belong. It's a double reunion.' Got a story? Ross demands the truth about the baby in Emmerdale as Charity fights back

In last night's episode of Emmerdale, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) discovered that she's pregnant. It was a happy development Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) and Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant), as it meant the recent embryo transfer had worked, and Charity was now going to carry their baby for them. The couple remained unaware of Ross Barton's (Michael Parr) reaction when he walked in the pub. A while later, we discovered why he had reason to be shocked at the news. A flashback scene confirmed what happened after a drunk Charity left Vanessa Woodfield's (Michelle Hardwick) house last week. She threw her ex out, and said their kiss was a sign Charity was just being self destructive. Stumbling through the street, Charity found Ross, who was also dealing with relationship woes. The two residents had sex and now Charity is pregnant, and Ross knows that means there's a chance the baby could be his. Back in present day, Charity denied Ross' claims and said there was no chance, as the sex they had was completely meaningless. It was still sex though, but who are we to judge. In complete denial, Charity headed back into the pub and listened as Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) gave a speech and the family celebrated. In tonight's episode, Charity was confronted by Ross again. He still wanted answers, and pointed out that Charity doesn't actually know the complete truth. Charity claimed that she hadn't long been back from the hospital, with a scan confirming the size of the baby and therefore, proof it had formed before she slept with Ross. But he didn't believe her. 'I think he's desperate to find out the answer because it comes with such responsibility, having another child, it's a lot of pressure on him because he's not doing so well with work right now and his living situation isn't ideal as he's always swapping and changing', Michael Parr explained. 'Plus he's just met his brother Lewis. There's a lot going on for him in his head, so he just needs to get to the bottom of this. So he can get a good night's sleep.' A DNA test needs to be conducted to confirm the truth – but will Charity go ahead with it? She was seen researching tests later that day, but what if the test confirms Ross is the father? Will she lie to Sarah, Jacob and Mackenzie? 'There are so many emotions going on which again, puts more of a spotlight onto Charity's awful secret and dilemma', Emma Atkins said. 'The situation was awful to begin with as it began with poor Sarah's position. It's so sad for Sarah as her situation is awful. She so wanted a child but can't physically have one. And in real life there are poor girls in that situation with cervical cancer or who have had to have a hysterectomy. 'So Charity had good intentions initially to help Sarah in her plight to have a child but now it's clashing with the awful situation she's in. The fact Mack is now so upset as he and Charity lost a baby and it was Mack's dream was to have a child with Charity but Charity told him way back when that it wasn't going to happen. She added: 'She wasn't going to go down that route again. But now she has but for someone else. He's rightfully hurt by this although wanting to support her.' 'There are just so many layers to this story. So Charity had thought she had closed the door on having another child and that prospect killed Mackenzie in many ways – she was aware of that so Charity now holds all that guilt. Of how he is feeling. More Trending 'And now this new situation so this all comes back up to haunt her and it's just a sort of whirlpool of awfulness. And what will she do?'.
