Music icon emotionally quits Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins after neck injury
In tonight's episode, Leshurr, real name Melesha Katrina O'Garro, approached Mark 'Billy' Billingham before the day's tasks began to break the news that she could not continue in the Channel 4 reality show.
After she shared the devastating update, Billy asked her to explain exactly what had happened.
During last night's task, which involved carrying a dinghy, Leshurr, 37, said the 'whole weight [of the dinghy] went onto her neck' and she 'feels like she can't continue.'
After handing over her number, Billy congratulated her on what she had achieved and said she had 'way surpassed our expectations.'
'I've been through so much and still managed to get back up,' she told the camera. 'But my pain threshold is shaky.'
Fans have taken to social media to congratulate Leshurr in the face of her gutting exit, saying she should be proud of all she has achieved.
'Well done Lady Leshurr! ❤️👏🏼 You pushed yourself to the limit and tried your hardest until injury meant you couldn't go any further,' Ryan Glendenning wrote on X.
'You took on every challenge head on and your family would be proud.'
SAS_WDW added: 'It's been a joy having you on the course Lady Leshurr.'
Mr Lawrence said they were 'gutted', while Oor Roy said they were 'really rooting' for the rapper during the show.
Leshurr was the first of two contestants to leave during the episode, with Rebecca Loos also bowing out after failing to take part in a task that saw the celebs bungee jump from Cwm Prysor Viaduct at a height of 105 feet.
Lucy Spraggan was also injured in the episode, saying that her 'labia was bleeding' after taking part in her jump.
Speaking to LadBbible this week, she explained the full extent of the gruesome injury, which saw her rip her labia.
'I knew straight away that, like, that was a sincere amount of pain and it was f***ing sincere pain,' she said.
'In midair, I was trying to, like, pull on the rope, so like to pull up to relieve some of the tension in the harness.'
She said that once the task was over, she took herself to some bushes to check out the extent of the injury.
'I looked, and there was just blood, and I was like, 'Oh, s**t'. The doctor, she was behind me, and she came up to me and was like, 'Lucy, are you okay?' More Trending
'I turned around, and I sort of like, had my hands and she was like, 'Oh my God. I thought it was your leg'.'
This year's series was shot in Wales, the home of the first phase of SAS selection in real life.
The participants being guided through gruelling challenges by the elite team of ex-Special Forces soldiers include Traitors winner Harry Clark, Drag Race UK star Bimini Bon-Boulash, former Love Islander Adam Collard, and former footballer Troy Deeney.
