How BBC is keeping Celebrity Traitors secret after rumoured line-up 'leaks'
Secrets about Celebrity Traitors are slowly being revealed after the rumoured line-up leaked before filming even began.
The beloved BBC programme, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, is hitting screens for a celebrity version after three successful civilian series.
For the uninitiated, The Traitors sees contestants take on challenges to try and win prize money by day, but at night, they're split into two groups: The Traitors and The Faithful. The former are tasked with killing off members of the latter group, but no one is sure who is who.
To avoid being 'murdered' at night, the contestants have to try and discover who is really a Traitor and who is lying, leading to some explosive banishments.
Season one of the hit programme saw team Faithful split a whopping jackpot three ways before Harry Clark stole over £95,000 right from under his friends' noses in series two, leading to him being declared the 'Ultimate Traitor'. And earlier this year, two more Faithful managed to make it to the very end and win a huge five-figure sum.
Now, celebrities are taking part in the game, with a leaked line-up reportedly revealing who will be playing.
Here is what you need to know.
It's been said Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway, Jonathan Ross, Sir Stephen Fry and Alan Carr will all be taking part in the murder mystery gameshow.

In the 'leaked' line-up, they're joined by comics Lucy Beaumont, Joe Wilkinson, singers Paloma Faith, Charlotte Church and a whole host of other stars.
Typically, the BBC has kept details about The Traitors under wraps until the very last minute, such as where the contestants sleep, with some secrets still remaining shrouded in mystery.
And they're said to be taking things a step further for the celebrity edition.
Before the 'leaked' line-up was reportedly revealed, a source claimed 'a military-style operation' was in place to transport the stars to Ardross Castle in Scotland.
The A-listers were said to be travelling to Inverness Airport from their homes across the world by a variety of means including planes, trains, cars and even boats.
As if that wasn't enough, it was claimed a 'no-fly zone' would be in place over the venue to prevent drone photographers from capturing any scenes.
An insider recently told The Sun: 'For a show with secrecy and shocking plot twists at its heart, navigating the celebrity version has been a real puzzler.
'Casting the likes of TV presenter Kate Garraway, former rugby star Joe Marler and singer Paloma Faith creates a situation which is a lot more open to leaks and gossip than recruiting a call centre manager from Liverpool or a retired opera singer.
'So execs have worked really hard to lock down every inch of the production.
'Instead of a simple travel process which could be open to leaks, celebrities will all arrive via various methods of transport.
'And there's a no-fly zone already in place over Ardross Castle and the surrounding area to stop any preparations being snapped, or any of the action during filming.
'Preserving the magic of the show has become an obsession.'
So far, the stars are keeping their stint on the show a big secret too, with Kate's Good Morning Britain star's quipping she'd make 'an excellent Traitor' while Sir Stephen played coy when asked by Metro.
He said: 'I can say that the BBC would slice off my testicles if I were to comment publicly on the possibility of such a thing as dwelling in a castle in Scotland for a week or two – or indeed for a day or two, quite likely.
'I would be fired in the driveway, which is the thing they sometimes do, isn't it, before you even get there, if you say the wrong thing.'
'I think it's brilliant. I'm not usually a fan of what you might call reality TV, but I think of it more as a game than reality TV, it's just a very clever game, simple but complex as well,' he added.

Meanwhile, celebrities including The Apprentice's Baroness Karren Brady and Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis revealed they'd turned down the opportunity, with reports claiming This Country stars Daisy May Cooper and her brother Charlie pulled out weeks before filming.
The Traitors season three came to an end earlier this year with Faithfuls Leanne Quigley and Jake Brown splitting the £94,600 prizepot. More Trending
After weeks of lies, betrayal, brutal murders and shocking banishments, they walked away with the five-figure sum, and mum-of-two Leanne later told Metro: 'The whole game was just a whirlwind. I really, really enjoyed myself while we were in the castle.
'And I think the best thing to come out of it for me is the friendships that I've made with everybody, they're all such incredible people.'
Metro has approached the BBC for comment, though we understand the leaked line-up is speculation and no official announcement has been made.

The Traitors is available to watch on BBC iPlayer with Celebrity Traitors airing later this year.

Richard Madeley presents Good Morning Britain in cast after ‘double fracture'
The 69-year-old was asked how he got the injury by co-host Susanna Reid, who remarked 'that looks sore', at the start of Monday's edition of the ITV morning show. He replied: 'It's a double fracture of the wrist. I was walking quite quickly down a steep pavement in France, actually, on Friday, and the pavement was loose, and it flipped up and it flipped me forward. and I thought, am I going to win or is gravity going to win? And gravity won. Richard Madeley was forced to do 'one hand clapping' on the show thanks to his injury (Anthony Devlin/PA) 'I hit the ground hard, so yeah, I've got a double fracture and we'll see how it goes.' Reid then asked whether it was still sore to which her co-host replied: 'I'm not discussing the pain threshold.' In Monday's show, Madeley's cast could be seen as the two went on to discuss Greta Thunberg's aid boat which had been travelling to Gaza and has been boarded by Israeli forces, the NHS's recent calls for a million new blood donors to come forward, and protests in Los Angeles. As he interviewed comedian turned artist Jim Moir, best known by his stage name Vic Reeves, who showed him how he can make his bed in eight seconds, Madeley praised him with 'one hand clapping'. Madeley has co-presented the show since 2017, after previously launching ITV's This Morning in 1988 with wife Judy Finnigan, with whom he went on to present chat show Richard And Judy from 2001 to 2009. The presenter also worked on The Wright Stuff as a guest host between 2012 and 2017. BBC bosses' battle to save Strictly as 2025 'no more scandal' line-up leaked
The BBC are demanding a 'no more scandal' policy on Strictly and are determined to make sure the 2025 line-up is the safest yet with a royal and Blue Peter stars being considered There is a "terrible, terrible fear" among BBC executives that Strictly Come Dancing will be struck by scandal again this year - and every effort is being made to ensure all contestants are squeaky clean. The show has been dogged by shocking headlines in recent years, and this weekend EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick - on the show in 2024 - was suspended by the BBC after using a slur against people with disabilities on the set of Strictly while filming in Blackpool. That came after Giovanni Pernice ws involved allegations of bullying and aggressive behaviour made by his partner Amanda Abbington, forcing the corporation to launched an internal investigation. In May, radio host Wynne Evans announced he is leaving his role after the broadcaster decided not to renew his contract. He apologised for making what he described as an "inappropriate and unacceptable" comment during the Strictly Come Dancing live tour launch in December. The crude sexualised remark was aimed at dance pro and It Takes Two host Janette Manrara. Now the BBC want to go risk free and are leaving no stone unturned to make sure the line-up is as safe as possible. Blue Peter presenters Joel Mawhinney and Shini Muthukrishnan are said to be under consideration - as is Tom Parker Bowles, the son of Queen Camilla. Georgia Toffolo - the I'm a Celebrity Jungle Queen - is reportedly being lined up, as is Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts. Newly married former Love Island star Dani Dyer is being considered, it has been reported, with former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan another name high up on bosses' list. "There is a terrible, terrible fear among those high up that these awful things are going to keep happening and the show will be brought into disrepute again and again," one well-place BBC insider has told MailOnline. "With that in mind, they are taking no chances. "There will be stringent checks, and asking around, and digging into potential stars' backgrounds to make sure that they're not choosing anyone who might damage the show. For years, there was the whole Strictly 'curse' where the contestants and professionals kept having affairs. But that stopped. "Changes were made to the partnerships and it worked. There have been other issues in the past couple of years, though. What's been even more embarrassing for the BBC is that Wynne and Jamie have been from their own stable of stars. Going forward, those at the top want a wholesome image to shine through. No more scandal – just joy." This weekend EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick declared he is "deeply sorry" for using a derogatory term about disabled people. The shock news came six months after he was competing on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing - which is when the incident is said to have taken place. The 30-year-old actor has appeared on EastEnders since 2006 in which he plays Jay Brown. However, it is stated he is on suspension from the soap following the revelation he used offensive language in a video that was allegedly shared with friends. He has issued a grovelling apology which has been shared by The Sun on Sunday, stating: 'I want to apologise sincerely and wholeheartedly for the words I used in the video showing my reaction to making it through Blackpool week on Strictly. 'I am deeply sorry for any offence and upset my words and actions have caused. It is no excuse, but I did not fully understand the derogatory term I used and its meaning. That is on me completely. 'Now I am aware, I am deeply embarrassed to have used the term and directed it in the way I did. It was wrong." He went on to issue an apology to the people of Blackpool and reiterate his regret over his words. The Mirror has contacted a representative of the star for comment.
