A Brief History of Oasis
Formed in Manchester in 1991, the band was led by lead guitarist Noel and lead vocalist Liam during their 18 years together.
Oasis signed to independent record label Creation Records in 1993, rising to fame with the release of their debut chart-topping album Definitely Maybe on August 29 1994.
They had hits with songs including Don't Look Back In Anger, Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall and Live Forever.
Dig Out Your Soul, the band's last studio album, was released in 2008, just months before the Paris row.

Suki Waterhouse put on a very leggy display as she stepped out at Beehive Studios in Van Nuys, California, on Tuesday. The singer, 33, showcased her long, toned pins in a pair of tiny pink jogging shorts as she made her way into the studio. She layered up in a vibrant green and black colour-block hoody and completed the sporty look with neon pink and black trainers. Adding a designer touch, Suki carried her essentials in a Miu Miu handbag and shielded her eyes with oversized blue-tinted shades. Her outing comes just days after she and partner Robert Pattinson, 39, sent fans into a frenzy as they blended into the crowd at an Oasis gig at Wembley. While most A-listers snap up VIP seats in the London venue, Robert and his partner Suki preferred to soak up the atmosphere in the crowds. The singer, 33, showcased her long, toned pins in a pair of tiny pink jogging shorts and sported a vibrant green and black colour-block hoody as she made her way into the studio The actor and singer joined the likes of Sienna Miller and Anya Taylor-Joy, shunning VIP to rock in the stands instead. The Twilight star tried to keep a low-key appearance in a baseball cap and sunglasses as he mixed with gig-goers. Meanwhile, Suki put on a very vibrant display in a bright green jacket as she sang her heart out to Noel and Liam Gallagher 's hits. The video circulating on TikTok was captioned: 'Went to see Oasis and ended up seeing the LOML.' Fans in the comments praised the couple for shunning A-list areas and getting 'normal tickets'. Some wrote: 'Whaaaaat this is amazing', 'That's so great that they had normal tickets and weren't in VIP', 'OMG', 'I'm sorry what'. Robert and Suki's outing comes amid rumours they got 'married' while holidaying in the Caribbean earlier this year. The pair reportedly tied the knot during an intimate ceremony with their closest loved ones, including their 10-month-old daughter. Although it is still unverified if the longtime couple, who first began dating in July 2018 after meeting at a star-studded house party, walked down the aisle, a tipster told Deuxmoi, an Instagram account that publishes celebrity gossip, they did. 'Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse got married at NYE at the Caribbean resort I work at!!!' the source, who claimed to be a waitress, told the outlet. 'They were so cute and sweet, their baby was there in a gorgeous little bridesmaid's dress.' The insider added that 'their family was there as well' and it was 'such a cute wedding.' 'I think Rob's quite funny, I light up when I'm around him,' she explained, before noting that living in L.A. 'definitely became a lot more fun' after they met. As for whether the indie pop star was surprised to find out she was expecting? Suki said, 'No, we really planned it. One day we looked at each other and said, "Well, this is as ready as we're going to be."' She teased, 'I was like, "What can make more chaos?"' The model also reflected on performing at Coachella last year, six weeks after giving birth, telling the outlet, 'Every mum's morality is in question so much, not just from yourself, but from society. Everyone's projecting something onto you. That's an insane thing.' She added, 'Like, honestly, of course [I was thinking]: "Holy s**t, how is this going to work, is this even going to be possible?" You just have to go, "This is what we're doing, this is what we're about, and f**k what anyone else thinks."'

Ban put in place for Edinburgh Oasis gigs as authorities commit to safety
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Ahead of Oasis playing three shows at Murrayfield Stadium authorities have announced a no-fly zone will be implemented at the gigs. Drones and other flying crafts will be strictly prohibited as aviation watchdogs issue a warning to anyone looking to deploy a device which could injure fans below. A penalty will be dished out to anyone breaking the rule and those behind the event have warned there will be an extensive security operation at the capital events. Similar rules were brought in for Oasis' comeback performances in Manchester's Heaton Park and Cardiff's Principality Stadium last month, the Sun reports. Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher are set to take to the stage in Scotland for the first time in fifteen years this week. They will play three sold out shows on Friday August 9, Saturday August 10 and Tuesday August 12. A source said: 'Banning drones above the gigs is the right move. All it takes is something to go wrong or someone who doesn't know how to properly fly a drone to make a mistake. "If one falls into the crowd people could end up badly hurt.' Join Edinburgh Live's Whatsapp Community here and get the latest news sentstraight to your messages. A Civil Aviation Authority spokesman added that the ban was 'in the public interest'. An estimated 210,000 fans are expected to flock to the Capital to attend the sold out gigs, the Record reports. Concert goers will face strict rules with metal water bottles, large bags, hip flasks and umbrellas among the banned items. Anyone found with knives, pyrotechnics or drugs will be reported to police immediately. The concerts clash with Edinburgh's world famous Fringe arts bash of over 3,800 shows. A force spokesman added: 'We are working to ensure the safety of those attending events and minimise disruption.'

Oasis fan ‘left bruised after Liam's maracas wrestled away from her'
Oasis had just finished another epic gig, concluding the set with Champagne Supernova as fireworks lit up the sky. Leaving the stage on Sunday, Liam Gallagher, the band's lead singer, threw his tambourine to one side of the Wembley crowd and a pair of tied maracas to the other. The latter landed straight in the hands of Chantal Arpino, a 42-year-old mortgage adviser from Buckinghamshire. But before she could pocket her memento, she claims two men ripped the maracas from her, pulling back her fingers, drawing blood and leaving her with cuts and bruises. Arpino, who paid more than £1,000 for two tickets for her and her partner, said: 'I caught them in the air. I've got my hands on both of them but they are strapped at the handle and my hands were twisted holding on to them.
