Revanth to interact with farmers as part of ‘Rythu Nestam' on June 16
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is set to engage directly with farmers as part of the 'Rythu Nestam' programme on June 16.
Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao held a teleconference with district collectors to review arrangements for the 'Rythu Nestham' programme, which will take place at the Agricultural University on June 16. The Chief Secretary informed collectors that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's interaction with farmers would be telecast across all 'Rythu Nestham' centres. He instructed collectors to organise the event appropriately, inviting public representatives and ensuring a minimum attendance of 250 farmers from each area.
The Chief Secretary highlighted that this programme aims to connect farmers with agricultural experts via video conferencing. The video conferencing facility, previously available in 500 centres, has been expanded and will now be accessible in an additional 1,000 centres from June 16. Through this facility, experts will offer timely suggestions to farmers on suitable crops to cultivate and advanced farming techniques.
Secretary for Agriculture, Raghunandan Rao, requested collectors to depute mandal level officers to all 'Rythu Nestham' centres, alongside the concerned Agriculture Extension Officer for each cluster. He emphasised that the entire programme should be conducted in a festive atmosphere.
Earlier in the day, the Chief Secretary also held a teleconference with the DGP and other senior officials to assess the arrangements for the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards function, scheduled for June 14 at the HICC. During the teleconference, Special Commissioner for Information and Public Relations, Dr Harish, briefed that all arrangements were complete for conducting the programme on a grand scale. He confirmed that all departments are working in close coordination to ensure the smooth execution of the event.

Major IAS reshuffle in Telangana sees Mittal out of Revenue
HYDERABAD: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the state government on Thursday transferred 33 IAS officers and two IFS officers. Orders to this effect were issued by Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao. DS Lokesh Kumar has been given full additional charge (FAC) as secretary, Revenue department, and as chief commissioner of land administration (CCLA). He will also hold the post of principal secretary, Mines & Geology department. Shashank Goel, special chief secretary, Telangana Bhavan in Delhi, has been posted as resident commissioner, Telangana Bhavan, relieving Gaurav Uppal who has been posted as secretary to Government, Coordination (Government of India Projects), Telangana Bhavan, Delhi. Single window clearance for clearances to film shootings in the offing
Hyderabad The Telangana Government has focused its attention on developing Hyderabad as a hub of film related activities. Accordingly, the government has decided to establish a single window clearance system for giving permissions to film shootings. In addition, a dedicated officer from the Film Development Corporation would be appointed to coordinate and expedite all required departmental approvals through this single window system. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka announced this during a meeting with senior officials on Tuesday. He has directed the Information Department and Film Development Corporation officials to prepare a detailed project report in this direction for transforming the city into a film capital. Mr. Bhatti Vikramarka is heading a cabinet subcommittee comprising Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and D. Sridhar Babu as members. The meeting discussed issues relating to promotion of the city as a film capital. Mr. Bhatti Vikramarka said that the government envisaged the development of Hyderabad as a film city to attract major personalities from the film industry, both from across the country and abroad. At present, those who want to shoot films in the state should obtain separate permissions from various departments like the police, fire, and municipal administration which was causing difficulties to film producers. The Deputy Chief Minister said filming in various tourist destinations across the state would also contribute to the growth of the tourism sector. He expressed concern that exorbitant charges were being levied on food and other items being sold at canteens in cinema theatres. This was causing hardship for common people. He instructed officials to take steps to regulate prices so that common people were not inconvenienced. Recalling that the Government had allocated 50 acre land to the Film Development Corporation in the past, the sub-committee directed officials to prepare a report on the current status of this land by the next meeting. He directed the officials to organise the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards, scheduled to be held on June 14 in a grand and unprecedented manner and invitations should be extended to all prominent personalities in the country, especially those from film industry.
