Julius Thomas gives his prediction for Bo Nix's second season
Julius Thomas had a relatively brief but impactful career with the Denver Broncos. Playing for the club from 2011-2014, Thomas recorded two Pro Bowl seasons in 2013 and 2014. In those two seasons, he tallied 1,277 yards and 24 touchdowns, becoming one of Peyton Manning's favorite targets. So when it comes to the Broncos, he's certified.
This is why, after nailing his Bo Nix prediction in 2024, he's back for a second prediction for Nix in his sophomore season. Thomas stated that Nix, although it may have been uncertain for Broncos Country then, would be pleased with Nix as the quarterback. This year, Thomas sees growth due to how Nix came in and learned Sean Payton's system at a rapid pace. Thomas elaborates more below.
Nix showed he could be an elite quarterback in college, playing for two teams and five different offensive coordinators in five years. Despite that, he left the NCAA as the single-season completion percentage leader in 2024. So, with stability in the NFL, Thomas has merit in believing that Nix will make an even bigger jump in 2025.

(AP) — Angel Cano hit a two-run home run in the second inning and a bases-clearing double in the third to help No. 4 seed Little Rock beat host and top-seeded LSU 10-4 on Saturday night to win avoid elimination at the Baton Rouge Regional on Sunday night. The Trojans (27-33), making their second NCAA Tournament appearance and first since 2014, can clinch a berth in the super regionals with a win Monday over No. 6 national seed LSU. LSU beat Little Rock 7-0 on Friday and followed Saturday with a 12-0 win over Dallas Baptist to advance to the championship round. The Trojans, who lost 13 of 14 to close the regular season before winning five straight to win the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament, exploded for 22 runs Saturday in a win over Rhode Island and beat Dallas Baptist 8-6 in an elimination game earlier Sunday. Steven Milam hit a two-RBI single to cap LSU's three run first inning but Angel Cano hit a two-run home run in the second for the Trojans. Ryan Geck grounded out to lead off the third before Ty Rhoades, Cade Martin and Cooper Chaplain drew consecutive walks to load the bases. Cano fouled off three consecutive two-strike pitches before he hit a bases-clearing double off Chase Shores (5-3), who was immediately replaced by Cooper Williams after allowing four runs in an inning of relief. Starter Noah Burkey gave up three runs on six hits in 1 2/3 innings before he was replaced by Brenden Katz (1-0), who pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings. Ethan Hawke Returns In First Trailer For 'Black Phone 2'
The 2021 horror movie The Black Phone became a surprise horror hit for Blumhouse based on the short story of the same name by author Joe Hill. Because the film was such a hit, earning $161.4 million on a budget between $16-18 million, a sequel was greenlit several years later. Now the full trailer for the follow-up – titled Black Phone 2 – has been released by Universal. Interestingly, the new sequel revolves around the characters from the first film, with the roles having been aged up to reflect the increased age of the actors. Ethan Hawke also returns to play The Grabber, the brutal antagonist of the first film, which this trailer depicts in a more Freddy Krueger style fashion. Here's the official trailer for Black Phone 2 : This trailer for Black Phone 2 puts an emphasis on the tense atmosphere that the film will feature, with an emphasis on its snowy winter setting, something which is a change from the original. Likewise, the footage is grainy and dark, with the signature use of filmic imagery that is enough to make viewers' blood run as cold as the wintery shots depicted. The cast for Black Phone 2 , as the trailer features, includes returning cast members Ethan Hawke, Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw, Jeremy Davies and Miguel Mora. For Hawke's character, given his fate in the preceding flick, it looks like his role as The Grabber has expanded into a more supernatural threat. Scott Derrickson returned to direct the follow-up for Blumhouse and Universal which was once again written by C. Robert Cargill and Derrickson. The two seem to have cracked a great idea that made producing a sequel a worthwhile endeavor. Black Phone 2 is scheduled to hit theaters later this year on October 17, 2025.
