Man arrested after Katy Perry ambushed on stage in terrifying stage invasion

The man who stormed the stage during Katy Perry's recent concert has now been arrested and charged with two offences.
Since kicking off her Lifetimes world tour last month, the Firework singer has faced a string of viral moments, including for her 'cringe' dancing, confronting a fan and nearly plunging into a crowd.
The 40-year-old was met with another unsettling moment after an over-eager fan took things a little too far and jumped on stage with her at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney
Footage made the rounds on social media on Monday, showing the shocking moment Johnson Wen – known online as Pyjama Man – crashed her rendition of 2008 hit, Hot N Cold, before being escorted off stage.
According to 9News, he was arrested after the incident, and taken to Auburn Police Station.
Wen was eventually charged with entering enclosed lands, as well as obstructing a person in the performance of their work or duty.
After being granted conditional bail, he was issued with a six-month ban from entering the Sydney Olympic Park Precinct, and is due to appear at Burwood Local Court on June 23.
Speaking to the outlet after his bizarre antics, Wen claimed that he stormed the stage for fun, and detailed the moment that Perry 'freaked out' at his appearance.
'I said, 'Let me get on stage with you', then she freaked out because she realised I wasn't a performer,' he recalled.
'I was about to do like extra Fortnite moves but security got there too quick.'
This isn't his first brush with the law, as he was already banned from the Olympic Park for crashing the Weeknd's concert, and also invaded arenas at the Olympics, the Women's World Cup and the Cricket World Cup final.
However, Wen has vowed that he will no longer storm stages, adding: 'I'm planning to quit forever because you get in way too much trouble for it.
'Especially me, because I've done it so many times.'
Perry is currently performing in Australia, where she has already played two shows in Sydney and one in Melbourne.
On Monday night, a clip shared by Pop Crave showed the musician belting out her 2008 hit while holding a guitar.
Things then took a turn when Wen appeared on stage, before running up to her and grabbing her shoulder, while excitedly jumping up and down.
Visibly uncomfortable by the encounter, Perry spun away and told the confused crowd: 'Well, there's never going to be another show like this, so just enjoy it, Sydney.'

Security were then seen trying to drag him off stage.
Soon after, the Roar icon exclaimed to the audience: 'What the hell is going on?'
Just a few days ago she also faced a near-miss after being suspended by a crane while singing.

During her set, Perry soared over the mosh pit, but after the crane tilted unexpectedly, she was briefly left upside down.
Realising her risk of plunging headfirst into the sea of people, she was heard exclaiming, 'Oh dear!'
However, she continued with the song and waved to the arena to assure everyone she was fine.
Last month, she also narrowly avoided a wardrobe malfunction at a Las Vegas show when her bra snapped.
'Oh, my bra's gonna come off,' she joked, dancing along while calling to her crew for help. More Trending
'Get my bra back on, Patrick,' she said before turning to the audience and joking: 'Sorry, guys, you didn't pay that much.'
After massive demand for her shows Down Under, Perry added extra ones, and will now perform a total of 15 in Australia, where she'll be until the end of the month.
She is set to bring her Lifetimes Tour to the UK later this year, playing concerts in Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, and London in October.

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman have been named in the King's Birthday Honours list, but one of the Strictly Come Dancing legends almost missed out. I don't think I've come back down to earth yet, I didn't see it coming, and it almost didn't happen, because the letter went to the wrong address,' she told the PA news agency. 'And thank goodness, someone very kind found me. And so by the time I got it, I only had, I think it was two or three days left to accept it. As well as BBC documentaries, she's appeared on the likes of Children In Need over the years, and she's happy to accept the recognition. 'It feels like the most wonderful honour, because when you work as a broadcaster, you're part of people's viewing habits,' she said. Meanwhile, Tess admitted she 'cried' when she was finally able to open the letter, and she immediately wanted to be able to tell her late dad the news. She added: 'I cried when I opened the letter, because I just I couldn't believe it. 'I lost my dad many years ago, and I know how proud my dad would have been, and I would love to have shared that news with him more than anything,' she said. 'You're under strict instructions, of course, not to share the news before it's made public. But I must admit, I did tell immediate members of my family and swore them to secrecy.' Tourist shatters priceless Van Gogh chair by sitting on it
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video This is the moment a tourist sat on a 'Van Gogh' chair at an art gallery – before the antique collapsed under his weight. The crystal-covered furniture, named after the legendary Dutch artist, was housed at Palazzo Maffei, an art museum in Verona. Footage captured a woman and a man posing for pictures around the chair after waiting for the art gallery security to leave. The woman pretends to sit down before the man actually places his weight on the seat, which promptly cracks. The pair dash out of the room, leaving the damaged chair bent over on the floor. The piece was designed by Italian artist Nicola Bolla and was studded with Swarovski crystals. Palazzo Maffei shared the CCTV footage on Facebook, describing the described the act as an 'irresponsible gesture'. The museum said that, despite uncertainty over whether the fragile chair could be restored, the museum managed to repair it. It said: 'Every museum's nightmare has become reality, even in Palazzo Maffei. Waiting for the surveillance officers to come out, some visitors took an 'in effect' photo. 'The result? An irresponsible gesture caused serious damage to Nicola Bolla's 'Van Gogh' chair, a very delicate work, covered entirely with hundreds of Swarovski crystals.' More Trending It added: 'For days, we did not know if it would be possible to restore it. But we did it. 'A heartfelt thank you goes to the police, our security department and the restorers whose valuable work enabled the recovery of the piece. 'And a special thank you to all those who walk through the museum halls every day, with care, attention and wonder. 'Because art is not just for seeing. It is to be loved. It is to be protected.'
