The final chapter of The Summer I Turned Pretty has officially arrived. Adapted from Jenny Han's bestselling trilogy, the Prime Video series returns for its third and last season today—and it's bringing some major changes. Set nearly four years after the events of season 2, the story picks back up with Belly (Lola Tung) finishing her junior year of college, now in the midst of a long-term relationship with Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno). But the return of her first love, Conrad (Christopher Briney), stirs up old feelings and unresolved questions.
The 11-episode season is based on Han's third novel, We'll Always Have Summer, and is set to explore adulthood, evolving relationships, and the future Belly thought she had figured out. But longtime fans of the book should expect some surprises. 'There are a couple of moments that people really love from the books that I knew people were wanting to see,' Han told People, but she cautioned, 'they might not always happen in the way that you're expecting.'
Tung told TODAY that this version of Belly is more grounded: 'She has a new understanding of who she is and what she wants in life.' The story also delves into the lives of Belly's inner circle: Taylor is pursuing a career in PR, Steven is adjusting to post-grad adulthood, and Laurel is exploring new relationships years after the loss of her best friend Susannah (Conrad and Jeremiah's mom).
And yes, there will be drama. As Casalegno teased to Deadline, fans can expect 'plot twists.'
Season 3 consists of 11 episodes, making it the series' longest season yet. Han, who also directed one of the episodes, is closing out the trilogy with an expanded run to wrap up every storyline—including Belly's final decision between the Fisher brothers.
Episodes premiere weekly on Wednesdays at 12 A.M. P.T. / 3 A.M. E.T. on Prime Video, beginning with a two-episode launch. You'll need a Prime subscription to stream, but new users can sign up for a 30-day free trial. Check out the full episode rollout below:

Photo by John Angelillo/UPI | License Photo Aug. 1 (UPI) -- Maroon 5 performed on Today Friday, ahead of their eighth studio album's release Aug. 15. Frontman Adam Levine and lead guitarist James Valentine also discussed the album, titled Love is Like, on the show. "You said, Adam, recently that this album, Love is Like -- this one that's about to come out -- is deeply personal and you're going back to your roots. How so?" co-host Craig Melvin asked Levine. "We came up in a time when like you didn't really have any outside help with writing songs," Levine said. After a long time of collaborative work, this album represented an opportunity "just to come back to, 'Hey, you know, lemme see if we can do this again, and do this just with us and let's see if it still works.'" The album will feature the previously released tracks "All Night," "California" and "Priceless" with Blackpink's Lisa. Other songs include "Hideaway," "Love is Like" with Lil Wayne, "Yes I Did," "I Like It" with Sexyy Red, "Burn Burn Burn," "Jealousy Problems" and "My Love." Reneé Rapp Is Anything but 'Shy' with 'Late Show 'Performance as She Climbs Out of a Window in Heels — Watch!

NEED TO KNOW Reneé Rapp's dramatic rendition of "Shy" on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is anything but that The Mean Girls actress' dramatic performance was New York City-coded from the exposed brick set and casual fire escape acrobatics Her new album Bite Me is available to stream, and she will embark on her tour in support of it in SeptemberReneé Rapp is anything but shy in her latest performance. The Mean Girls star appeared on the Thursday, July 31 episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform "Shy" from her sophomore album Bite Me. Rapp, 25, sings on a set decorated like a small apartment before leaning backwards out of a brick window and gracefully climbing to the fire escape — while still carrying a tune and wearing heels. "Don't handle me with care / When you're pullin' my hair / Baby, ruin my life," she croons. "I want it bad, I swear / That I'm really not scared / I'm just a little bit shy." "Shy" appears on Rapp's new album Bite Me, which she announced in May and came out on Friday, Aug. 1. She spoke about how her mom manifested her becoming a pop star during an appearance on Amy Poehler's podcast Good Hang with Amy Poehler in May, thanks to her name's alliteration. "My mom chose my first and last name to be, well, okay, arguably chose my first and last name to both have [two letter R's]," she recalled. "She was like, 'Alliteration, just in case she wants to be a pop star' before I was born." Though Rapp admitted that her mom's decision was "conceited," she is "obsessed with the way [her mother] did it." "I'm like, thank you, God," she added. Poehler, 53, was impressed with how things came to be. "She gave you a pop star name just in case, because Reneé Rapp is a huge pop star name," the Parks and Recreation star said. Rapp, who released her album Snow Angel in August 2023, told PEOPLE about the inspiration behind the project. "All the songs I write obviously are about things that I've been through personally, but I think that any relationship I've ever had in my life is all culminated into one on this project and in these songs," she said at the time. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. "I love relationships. I love so hard. I am very protective of the people that I love. I'm very protective of myself, and all of these situations were taken from relationships that I had, whether they be good or bad." She also said that Snow Angel featured a "really mature version of myself" with "a little more bite." "I think that a lot of my EP thematically had more of a, 'Oh, no, this is what's happening to me," Rapp said. "This is what I'm going through' thing, which is great, but I think that Snow Angel is a bit more resilient and it's a bit more matter of fact and has a little bit more bite." Up next for the Sex Lives of College Girls actress is a tour through North America in support of her latest album. Kicking off on Sept. 23, Rapp will stop in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta and Toronto, among other cities, through Oct. 29. Bite Me is available to stream. Khloé Kardashian Breaks Silence On Reason For New Found Caregiver Role

Khloé Kardashian wears her heart on her sleeve, and for Amari Thompson, she would do anything. The mother-of-two opened up about why she needed to fill in the big shoes of looking after Tristan Thompson's younger brother after their mother, Andrea Thompson. Khloé Kardashian welcomed two kids with the NBA player, True Thompson in 2018 and Tatum Thompson in 2022, during their on-and-off relationship, which lasted for about five years and officially ended in 2021. Khloé Kardashian Is Pleased To Have Amari Thompson As A Part Of Her Family The reality star shared on her podcast that after Andrea passed away in 2023, it became important for them to pay extra attention to Amari, who has also lost his primary caregiver in the person of his mother. Hence, she continued that the family decided to take Amari back to the United States, as he lived with Andrea in Canada. Tristan also filed to become Amari's sole caregiver after they laid Andrea to rest. Khloé explained that Tristan's schedule was another hurdle they needed to scale since he was always on the move, and Amari's health could absolutely not withstand that kind of stress due to the multiple seizures. The Hulu star then noted that the whole family finally decided that Amari should stay with her in Los Angeles. The weather in the area is also excellent for his health, and Amari enjoys the company of Khloé, her family, and her two kids. "We just want to provide Amari with the best, most beautiful life that we know how. And he deserves that," the podcaster concluded on the season finale of her "Khloé in Wonderland" podcast. She also affirmed that Amari is under expert care around the clock with the most experienced team of caregivers. The 41-Year-Old Is Doing It All For The Love Of Tristan's Late Mother Khloé added that her phenomenal relationship with Tristan's mother, despite the complicated bond between her and Tristan, aided her relationship with Amari. She also recalled getting active with Andrea on Amari's treatments and medical records. According to Khloé, Andrea "would have questions, she would need connections to certain doctors, and I would help with that. I was very much involved in all of his medical appointments when Andrea was here." The mother-of-two continued that she is fully aware of how much Amari meant to his late mother, and her bond with Tristan's family is not severed by her and Tristan's extinct relationship. That is not all, Khloé stressed the importance of having Amari around to bond with his nieces and nephews and remind her kids that special people deserve love. She added that Amari's presence will teach her kids "compassion" and "understanding." "And I love seeing how Amari lights up when he's around the kids. He can't verbally talk, but … if you know him well enough, he can definitely express himself, and you see the glimmer in his eyes," Khloé noted. Khloé's Family Had An Emotional Reaction To Amari's Seizure During His 18th Birthday As shared by Today, Khloé and her family gathered in her home to celebrate Amari's 18th birthday, as aired in the 6th season of their hit Hulu show "The Kardashians." Khloé described the event as a huge milestone for the youngster who makes every day with him feel like a blessing. However, Amari suffered one of his seizures during the event, which sent chills down Kris Jenner's spine. The younger Thompson suffers from a severe form of epilepsy known as Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, making him in need of a 24/7 assistant. According to the Cleveland Clinic, Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome is a form of childhood epilepsy that causes multiple seizures and exposes the patient to the risk of permanent brain damage. Kris became emotional at the sight of Amari's seizure, noting in a later confessional that the feeling of helplessness when someone is in a state of distress is frustrating. "It's uncontrollable and there's nothing that you can really do, but I'm glad I was here. I'm glad I was here for Amari. I'm glad I was here for Khloé," Kris noted. She expressed her pride in Khloé for handling the situation with so much patience and precision and remaining unwavering in support for Amari. The Good American Founder Got Candid About Parenting Struggles The doting mom and entrepreneur does not pretend about the hassles of raising two kids and how she finds herself needing help. As shared by The Blast, Khloé stated that she will not be stigmatized for seeking additional support with her children. On her podcast, the 41-year-old slammed the culture of shaming moms into battling the stress of parenting in silence. "People that talk sh-t about nannies, we all have help in some capacity. You can call it daycare, you can call it a school, you can call it in-laws, your mother, sister, or whoever. A babysitter," Khloé noted. In a 2024 episode of their reality show, she confided in her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, that not having people to help her with the kids at night usually leaves her overwhelmed and exhausted at night. Khloé Kardashian Spoke On Parenting With Tristan Thompson The reality star and her baby daddy have come a long way in their relationship, whether as ex-lovers or parents of two toddlers. In a story by PEOPLE, the podcaster explained that both of them have gotten to a point in their interaction where they maintain a great friendship borne out of mutual respect. The star admitted last year that they eventually realized they were great individuals separately, but not meant to be partners. However, she commended the professional basketballer for being a very excellent father to their children. Khloé added that parenting comes in multiple facets, all of which she enjoys. In her words, she feels she was made to be a mother, and there is no place she would rather be than at home with her babies. Solve the daily Crossword
