At the time, she was working at HMP Lindholme in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
Winstanley appeared at Doncaster Magistrates' Court charged with to misconduct in a public office over a three-month period.
She is also accused of conspiring to sneak in phone memory cards with Jabhari Blair, who knifed two men in a brawl, Mail Online reports.
A further charge states she took a photograph inside HMP Ranby, Nottinghamshire without permission.
Winstanley also allegedly smuggled in a mobile phone to category C HMP Lindholme.
She indicated guilty pleas to the charges, which allegedly took place between August 2022 and April 2023.
Winstanley will appear at Sheffield Crown Court on September 11 to formally enter pleas.
Blair also appeared at the same court charged with illicitly possessing an iPhone and USB stick while at HMP Lindholme.
He is also accused of conspiring with Winstanley to convey SD cards into the prison.
He was jailed for 12 years and four months in December 2014 for his role in a mass brawl in Bradford that saw victims stabbed, kicked, punched and stamped on.
It comes after prison officer Megann Gibson yesterday appeared in court after having phone sex with an inmate.
The 26-year-old embarked on an illicit relationship with the lag while working at HM Prison Wealstun in West Yorkshire.
Gibson also sent his mum more than 900 messages in an apparent bid to keep in touch with the inmate.

Afghans brought to safety in UK have personal details leaked in fresh Ministry of Defence breach

The personal data of Afghans brought to safety in the UK has been breached yet again in another Ministry of Defence (MoD) cybersecurity incident. The breach affecting up to 3,700 people includes Afghans who were brought to the UK under the MoD's resettlement scheme for those who worked with British troops. The number also includes people who travelled for routine military exercises and official engagements. The breach came after Inflite The Jet Centre Ltd, a sub-contractor to an MoD supplier, which provides ground handling services for flights at London Stansted Airport, suffered a data loss. The incident affects contracts between the MoD, Inflite The Jet Centre, and the Cabinet Office. The latest leak comes after another catastrophic data loss, which exposed the details of 18,700 Afghan applicants to a UK resettlement scheme. This breach prompted a secret evacuation scheme and the use of an unprecedented superinjunction to keep the details secret for nearly two years. A notification, sent out by the Afghan resettlement team on Friday afternoon, warned families that their personal information may have been exposed. 'This may include passport details (including name, date of birth, and passport number) and Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy (Arap) reference numbers,' the warning said. Afghan families, eligible for relocation, have been flown on flights chartered by the MoD from Pakistan to the UK as part of the ongoing evacuation scheme. There is currently no evidence to suggest that any data has been released publicly or on the dark web. A government spokesperson said: 'We were recently notified that a third-party subcontractor to a supplier experienced a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorised access to a small number of its emails that contained basic personal information. 'We take data security extremely seriously and are going above and beyond our legal duties in informing all potentially affected individuals. 'The incident has not posed any threat to individuals' safety, nor compromised any government systems.' In a statement published to Inflite The Jet Centre's website on 10 August it said the breach involved data from January and March 2024. 'We have reported the incident to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and have been actively working with the relevant UK cyber authorities, including the National Crime Agency (NCA) and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), to support our investigation and response', the company said. Inflite The Jet Centre said it believed the data loss was 'limited to email accounts only'. However, the MoD notice issued on Friday said further personal information had been breached because 'certain information is required by ground-handling companies to enable flights to depart and to arrive'. Inflite The Jet Centre has been contacted for comment.

Gunman on loose as dad, 50, killed in drive-by shooting outside pizza takeaway – as heartbroken daughters pay tribute

COPS are hunting a gunman on the loose after a dad, 50, was killed in a drive-by shooting. Dale Stogden, known as Brett, was shot dead in Wakefield on Tuesday night. He was gunned down outside a local pizza takeaway at around 9.43pm. It is believed the fatal shots were fired from a Toyota RAV4 car, which was found abandoned on Wednesday. West Yorkshire Police have since arrested three men aged 19, 20 and 27 on suspicion of murder. They were detained this afternoon at properties in Ossett and the Lupset area. Brett's heartbroken daughters have paid tribute to their father in a statement released by the police. "We are in complete shock at the loss of our dad in such horrific violent circumstances," it read. "We will miss him, and our breakfast get togethers. We will miss his big smile. "Dad, we hope you are no longer in pain and that you can rest in peace. We will always love and miss you. "We would like to ask the person who took our dad's life so cruelly, please hand yourself in then we can have some closure and lay him to rest." Detective Chief Inspector James Entwistle of the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team who is leading the investigation said: 'We are determined to get answers for Brett's family and ensure that those involved in this senseless crime are brought to justice. 'I would like to extend my thanks again to those who have already provided information to assist this investigation. I would like to reassure you that there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes and all available lines of enquiry are being followed up. 'We are continuing to appeal to any motorists who were in the Doncaster Road area of Wakefield between 9.30pm and 9.45pm to check dashcam footage. 'From our enquiries, we believe the vehicle used in this incident, the Toyota RAV4, was abandoned in Dunbar Street in the immediate aftermath of the shooting so again we are keen to speak to any motorists or others in the area who has seen anyone in the street from around 9:40pm that night.' A spokesperson for the force said: "Three men have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Brett Stogden in Wakefield. "All three men have been arrested this afternoon. They are aged 19, 20 and 27, and are all from the Wakefield area. "They are currently in police custody. "They were arrested from addresses in Ossett and the Lupset area of Wakefield."
