Gordon Ramsay makes his true feelings known towards future son-in-law Adam Peaty
On Sunday, the 30-year-old pushed through a brutal triathlon, surrounded by a very famous cheer squad.
The Strictly Come Dancing star, who has six Olympic medals under his belt, dived into his first-ever triathlon as part of the T100 Triathlon World Tour.
Unsurprisingly, he was surrounded by his biggest supporters both in and out of the water as 'Team Ramsay' were on hand for the event.
His fiancée, Holly Ramsay, was there to cheer him on, along with his young son George, who beamed with pride throughout the day.
The Ramsay family was out in full force – Holly's mum, Tana, and siblings Megan, Tilly, and Jack all participated in the event alongside him.
Gordon, 58, had hoped to take part himself but was benched by doctors after getting stitches in his cheek – but he more than made up for it with enthusiastic sideline support.
It was a big day filled with famous faces, with McFly drummer Harry Judd and former racing driver Billy Monger also among the competitors.
The triathlon was no joke – a 2km swim, an 80km cycle, and an 18km run made up the punishing course.
Adam powered through and crossed the finish line in 2 hours, 34 minutes, and 37 seconds, collapsing into a hug from his proud loved ones.
Moments after the triathlon ended, George ran up to his dad with a handmade sign that read 'I love you. Go Daddy', and gave him a kiss.
Holly was glowing with pride as her future husband caught his breath.
'That was the hardest thing I've ever done,' Adam said afterwards, before adding: 'I'd 100% do it again.'
Reflecting on the experience, he later shared on Instagram: 'Before this I never raced for more than a few minutes, never swam open water, never raced on a bike or had ever done a 10km run with people of all paces around me. Glad I got all of those ticked off today.'
Adam's relationship with Holly began in 2023, and the Olympian popped the question last Autumn.
While the couple initially kept things quiet, it was Gordon who let the wedding plans slip during an interview on The Jonathan Ross Show.
'It's going to be a Christmas wedding,' he said, revealing they'd already started scouting venues and making arrangements.
The celebrity chef went on to praise Adam, calling him a down-to-earth, driven man and the ideal match for his daughter.
Gordon shared that Adam had asked for his and Tana's blessing during a family trip to Cornwall, describing the moment as emotional and unforgettable.
'As a future son-in-law, we couldn't ask for better,' he continued, clearly touched by the swimmer's sincerity.
The feeling is mutual, as Adam has spoken openly about how welcomed he feels by the Ramsay family.
And yes, Gordon is already planning the wedding menu – something Holly says he has been excited about from day one.
'He's definitely taking charge of the food,' she told Closer Magazine, laughing about her dad's enthusiasm for the big day.
Holly first shared news of their engagement with an emotional Instagram post, calling Adam her 'best friend' and saying she still remembers the smile she had after their first date.
She thanked him for making her feel 'loved, seen and happier than ever' and said she couldn't wait to become his wife.
Adam posted his own heartfelt message soon after, calling Holly 'gentle, caring and beautiful,' and saying he felt like the luckiest man alive. More Trending
He also spoke about how close he's become to her family, describing their warmth, support, and generosity as something he's incredibly grateful for.
Now, with wedding bells ringing this Christmas and triathlon medals added to his collection, Adam seems to be entering a brand new chapter – on both the podium and in his personal life.

Keely Hogkinson admits she is excited and relieved to be putting 375 days of tears, frustration and injuries behind her when she races for the first time since winning the Olympic 800m gold medal on Saturday. The 23-year-old acknowledges that she does not have much time to get her sharpness back before next month's World Championships in Tokyo. But she struck an optimistic note on the eve of the Diamond League meeting in Silesia, Poland, as she readied herself to race again. 'It's been a long time – over a year since Paris,' she said. 'It wasn't my plan to start this late. But I am just super happy to get back on the start line. I've missed it a lot. This is what I train to do. So I can't wait to get out there and give it my absolute best and let's see what happens.' Hodgkinson has been battling hamstring issues, which flared shortly after the Olympics and then returned on the eve of the Keely Klassic in February, where she had been intending to break the world indoor 800m record. She had hoped to return for last month's London Diamond League, but had to wait until she was 100% ready again. 'It's been upsetting at times,' she said. 'Missing London was hardest for me because I just wanted to be there in front of my home crowd. Yes, it has been frustrating but it makes the good times sweeter and it makes it even better to be here now.' The plan is test her fitness in Poland against a decent field that includes Oratile Nowe of Botswana, who posted the season's best time of 1:57.49, as well as Gabriela Gajanova, the Slovakian who finished runner-up to Hodgkinson in the 2024 European Championships. If all goes well, she will run again four days later at the Diamond League in Lausanne. 'I've come out ready to go, so I am just excited to put something together. It's been a frustrating year. The partnership's routines captivated audiences throughout this series. The Australia-born professional has established herself as a viewer favourite since joining the BBC One dancing contest in 2017. Recognised for her effervescent character, striking locks and spectacular choreography, she's twice come within touching distance of claiming victory. Throughout her stint on the programme, Dianne has also discovered romance with one of her celebrity contestants, and the pair remain together. Early life growing up in Australia and secret career Dianne was born on May 6, 1989, hailing from Bunbury in Western Australia. She commenced dancing aged five following observations of her siblings performing in the dance studio, reports the Manchester Evening News. She subsequently participated in contests representing Western Australia across National and International Ballroom and Latin competitions, achieving four-time Amateur Australian Open finalist status. She managed to overcome her struggles and has shared her experiences in the book Eating Disorders Don't Discriminate, hoping to support others facing similar challenges. But I must say, I do love the UK and I do love all the people here and I love my job here so, yeah, I really enjoy the UK." Following the conclusion of Strictly's 2023 series, Dianne returned home to visit her family, particularly her father Mark, who was undergoing a six-month chemotherapy programme for an undisclosed cancer diagnosis. Dianne described him as her "hero", applauding his resilience and positive attitude throughout his treatment. She posted a compilation on Instagram showing him during his hospital stay, including the emotional moment he rang the bell to mark the completion of his treatment. I know you were scared and I know it was not easy but you have done it." During Strictly's 2024 launch programme, Dianne announced that her parents would be travelling from Australia to support her on the show in November. Why signature red hair is her 'comfort blanket' Dianne is recognised for her vibrant red locks and reveals she was captivated by hair styling during her explained she was "fascinated with colour" and would cut, style and dye her Barbie dolls' hair, sharing with the Press Association: "I actually remember for Easter most years, my mum would ask which Easter egg I wanted and I just really wanted hair colour, so mum would buy me a box hair colour instead of an Easter egg." Her path to the striking red hue she's now famous for didn't happen overnight, as she remembered: "I always liked an undertone of red but when I went bright red for a dance show, something clicked.I felt different – more fiery, more passionate. It changed the way I danced." She believes her striking colour has enabled her to distinguish herself in her dancing career, especially on Strictly: "It's given me that extra pizzazz and confidence. People recognise me as 'the red-haired girl', and it's become a part of my identity. "Maybe one day I'll go back to a more natural shade," she admits, "but right now, it's hard to part with the red. It's more than just a colour – it's my comfort blanket." She added: "I've had red hair for about ten years now. I'm a hairdresser by trade, though I haven't done it in a salon for many, many years. But when I was hairdressing, I literally had every single colour you could imagine. "I had blonde, I had black, I had brown, I had black with red stripes, I had black with blonde streaks – it was just like that hairdresser thing where you're just constantly changing the colour of your hair. And then I got bored – so I put a red dye over it one day and was like, 'I kind of like this', and it stuck. "Everyone was like, 'Oh my god – red really suits you and works with your eyes'. Then since I went on Strictly Come Dancing, I've been known as the girl with red hair.
