Ready Or Not 2: Sequel Adds Two Iconic New Cast Members
Ready Or Not, directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, follows a bride's first night as part of her husband's family. Without giving too much away, let's just say it gets real bloody weird, real fast.
Empire Magazine said at the time of release: 'Anchored by a dazzling turn by Samara Weaving, Ready Or Not brilliantly fuses thrills, satire, laughs and horror. Don't count to 100 - just go and see.'
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Elijah Wood are the latest stars to be revealed as part of the sequel Ready Or Not: Here I Come's cast, alongside Samara Weaving, Kathyrn Newton, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, and David Cronenberg.
Speaking to Deadline, directors Matt and Tyler said: 'We're thrilled to be returning to the world of Ready or Not with Samara, Brett, Avery and Andrew, and so excited to work with this immensely talented cast and the incredible artists across every department joining the Ready or Not family.'
Matthew Greenfield, President of Searchlight Pictures added: 'With Ready or Not: Here I Come, we get to go on another ride with the amazing Samara Weaving, mix in awesome new voices, and bring audiences a fresh take that's every bit as twisted and fun as the first one.
'This is for those who've been waiting, and those who didn't see it coming.'
There's no release date announced yet but we can't wait.

"The Diplomat" is returning for an all-new season, with more drama, thrills and action. Billie Piper Wanted to Go American for ‘Wednesday' Because She's Tired of Playing Brits
The iconic Bad Wolf from Doctor Who has been playing a mysterious werewolf music teacher in Wednesday season two, and viewers have been left wondering what Billie Piper has up her flowy sleeves on the show. She, alongside whoever Lady Gaga will be playing when the Netflix show returns, remains another intriguing new addition to the show's stacked ensemble. Piper's turn as Isadora Capri marks a departure for the actress, whom director Tim Burton cast as a former child prodigy not too unlike Wednesday (Jenna Ortega), who has returned to Nevermore to be the new head of the academy's music department. 'I've always wanted to play a sort of floaty, liberal musician or art teacher,' Piper told Tudum and added that she purposely decided to play her as an American to mix it up, as she's 'a little tired of playing English people.' 'I like the fact that Capri is a bit less buttoned-up than some of the other teachers. She's a bit more available to the moon and the stars. She's quite majestic. I really wanted to play her as this character who is very sort of porous and available to energy and feelings—but with a sort of steely core; someone who flits between two personalities,' she said of her take, which Burton encouraged. 'Tim talked to me a bit about the role, talked about how some of it was open to interpretation, what I could maybe bring to it, what I liked about it.' The air of mystery is conscious as Wednesday is pushed to integrate as part of the student body; she claims to want to remain an outcast among outcasts. So she and viewers don't know if Capri is a new threat to Wednesday or just a challenging ally. 'They're both kind of control freaks,' Piper explained. 'They like things to go a certain way, that they're drawn to perfection, and they're very methodical … they're kind of alike, but they also rub each other the wrong way.' From what we can glean from the few and far between moments Piper and Ortega shared in the first installment of Wednesday season two, the tension is intentional. 'Capri's teachings and message to Wednesday is quite often about how she had spent her life training as a musician from a very young age, and became very successful as a young musician, but at what cost? And I think this endless quest of Wednesday's is something that chimes with her,' Piper elaborated as to why her character wants to have the Addams loner under her tutelage and perform in the Gala meant to take place in part two of the season. 'I feel like Isadora wants to really motivate and help Wednesday excel—at least for now. She is a tricky character to pin down, which in many ways was great, and I was up for the ride. And at this point in my career, it's the kind of challenge that I relish, so I wasn't too stressed about it,' she said of her character remaining one of the mysterious threads that we hope gets let loose and revealed under the full moon come September 3, when Wednesday returns on Netflix. Speed (1994) The only Die Hard ripoff that's worth watching, Speed follows an LA police officer who gets trapped on a bus that will explode if it drives under 50 miles an hour. As he navigates Los Angeles traffic to avoid disaster, he must figure out who rigged the bus and why they did it. Speed is thrilling from minute one. Thanks to some excellent chemistry between Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock, it never feels even a little bit stale or played out. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) The Hunger Games movies are better than you remember (unless you remember them being great). Of the original quadrilogy, Catching Fire is undoubtedly refines the ideas and cast of the original movie into something both entertaining and disturbing. Following Katniss Everdeen in the wake of her victory in the Hunger Games, she eventually realizes that she has to go back into the arena, and this time her competition will be other victors. Jennifer Lawrence is remarkable at the center of this movie, an actress who brings her character's vulnerabilities to the surface with every look on her face. You can watch The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on HBO Max. Superman Returns (2006) Superman Returns was made by some pretty problematic people, but it's also a pretty effective Superman movie. A sort of pseudo-sequel to the Christopher Reeve films, this movie imagines an Earth where Superman has been gone for several years. When he returns, he discovers that the world has moved on without him, but also that Lex Luthor has been carefully planning for his return. Featuring a genuinely arresting plane crash sequence, plenty of nostalgia, and a sentimental sincerity that feels entirely justified, Superman Returns might leave you a little emotional.
