Amid 'Hera Pheri 3' controversy, Priyadarshan breaks silence on Akshay Kumar editing John Abraham's role in 'Garam Masala': 'He never showed interest in...'
Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan came together for Garam Masala in 2005 after the success of Hera Pheri. The film also had John Abraham as the leading man with Kumar. There were rumours and reports that Akshay edited John's role and the director has now broken silence on the same.
Priyadarshan told Filmfare, 'Am I an idiot to let one of my actors make my film for me? This is nothing but a figment of a troublesome journalist's imagination. It may be some people's idea of publicity, not mine. I've been around for too long to let actors dictate to me.'

Further, he added, 'Akshay never showed the slightest inclination to invade John's territory. In fact, I've been in touch with John. Not once has he expressed any grievance against Akshay. So who are these people spreading these rumours?'
The Hera Pheri 3 fiasco
As Paresh Rawal quits Hera Pheri 3, the actor has clarified on Twitter there are no 'creative differences' with the makers.
Paresh Rawal had recently tweeted- 'I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER . I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan the film director.'
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Priyadarshan , the man himself has made some shocking statements on the fiasco.
The director said, 'I don't care whether it's made or not. I was doing it for Akshay. I really don't want to work anymore. I have some commitments to fulfil. I've just completed Bhoot Bungla with Akshay, and I have a film with Akshay and Saif that I am committed to direct. Beyond that, I don't need this kind of tension. I would rather play with my grandchild than make movies with unprofessional actors.'

'Her mouth stinks...', This actress' mouth was stinking during a romantic scene, angry actor couldn't tolerate it, film is..., actor are...
Often, such stories come from the corridors of the film industry, which are shocking. One such incident happened when during the shooting of a hit psychological crime thriller of 1997, the lead hero of the film went to the director to complain about his co-star. Before shooting the romantic scene of the film, as soon as he got close to the actress, the smell of the girl's mouth disturbed the actor so much that the hero said in front of everyone on the set, 'Her mouth is stinking.' This is the story of Bobby Deol, who became a villain from a Bollywood hero and made headlines. In the late 1990s, he gave evergreen films like 'Gupt' and 'Soldier'. He worked with everyone from Preity Zinta to Kajol, but do you know the incident when he had to shoot a romantic scene for a hit film and as soon as the scene with the actress started, his mind went numb. He himself revealed this shocking incident. This actor couldn't tolerate the smell In an interview given to Filmfare, it was revealed why this famous actress was stinking so much that he could not tolerate it. The incident is related to the 1997 film 'Gupt'. Kajol and Manisha Koirala were seen with Bobby Deol in this psychological crime thriller. These were not newcomers to the industry, but leading actresses, about whom Bobby Deol complained to the director. Why was there a bad smell coming from the actress's mouth According to Bobby, while shooting the song 'Bechaaniyan' in the film 'Gupt' with Manisha Koirala, both of them had to get close and bite the actress's chin. She had to bring her face close to Bobby for the shot. But it was becoming difficult for him because Manisha's mouth was smelling strongly of onions. Manisha had eaten chana chaat with raw onion just before the shooting. Due to this, it became very difficult for her to shoot this romantic scene. Bobby said that it was a miracle that I managed to do that scene, because romance was the last thing on my mind at that time. But then I told everything about it to the director as well. The second film of his career was 'Gupt.' In the year 1997, Bobby Deol appeared in 'Gupt'. This was his second film, and its lifetime collection was Rs 18.23 crore.

Tehran review: John Abraham's geopolitical thriller is a terrific watch
Iran wants to kill you. Israel has deserted you, and your very own country, India, has given up on you. John Abraham's latest offering, Tehran, has him playing one of the most complex and riveting characters in his several-decade-long filmography. Over the last few years, John has organically steered towards geopolitical stories and characters that aren't just another spy or part of a covert 'Tehran', John's character, DCP Rajeev Kumar, gets involved in a very complicated case when a bomb blast in Delhi targeting an Israeli diplomat kills an innocent flower-seller. The incident disturbs Rajeev Kumar to such an extent that he decides to put his life at stake to get to the bottom of the against the backdrop of the Iran–Israel conflict, the film examines how ordinary people become collateral damage in someone else's war. Unlike many thrillers in the genre, 'Tehran' doesn't exploit the premise; instead, it sensitively shows every possible facet of the price one has to pay to wage a war. The screenplay by Bindni Karia, co-written with Ritesh Shah and Ashish Prakash Verma, is the film's strongest asset. Dialogues peppered with Farsi lend authenticity, while director Arun Gopalan draws solid performances from his cast. Neeru Bajwa and Manushi Chhillar make their mark in supporting roles. But, 'Tehran' works because of the conviction that John puts into his role. One of his finest performances till date, the film is a testament that, with a good script and a visionary director, all an actor needs to do is just surrender and keep faith.A standout is Hadi Khajanpour as antagonist Asraf Khan, who is an absolutely brilliant find. He is not just menacing for the sake of it, but also a sharply etched, powerful way the film has been shot visually is also impressive. From the dusty lanes of Delhi to Abu Dhabi, the camerawork is brilliant. The action sequences feel very organic and real, with combat scenes that are gritty and extremely is a solid watch and an overall great film for anyone who loves a good geopolitical thriller.- Ends4 out 5 stars to 'Tehan'.Must Watch
