Travis Scott Goes Viral For Helping The Rock And John Cena Beat Up Cody Rhodes On WWE
Scott has made multiple appearances in WWE over the years and was always received well. However, things appeared different from the moment he entered the Rogers Centre with 'The Final Boss,' The Rock. Rocky's entrance theme was remixed with Scott's Playboi Carti-assisted hit 'Fe!n,' and the duo sported all-Black attire as they walked to the ring. Cena had just won the Men's Elimination Chamber match, earning him a WWE Championship match at Wrestlemania 41 in Las Vegas, and was celebrating in the ring with Rhodes.
Rock was at Elimination Chamber to receive an answer from Rhodes regarding whether or not he would sell his soul and become Rock's 'champion,' effectively turning heel in the process. Rhodes declined the offer and told Rock 'go f**k yourself,' but did not realize there was a bigger plot looming. Cena hugged Rhodes once again before Rock gave him a signal. Cena then kicked the WWE Champion in the groin and beat him up alongside Rock and Scott. Scott had one of the biggest moments of the night when he slapped a prone Rhodes in the face, which you can watch below.

During the Elimination Chamber press conference, a media member asked Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson if fans may one day see Travis Scott get into the ring. 'Yes,' Rock replied. 'Yes. That's why we're doing it. Absolutely […] He wanted to get his hands bloody. I whispered to him as he was going out [to the ring]. I said, 'If you're gonna get your hands bloody, make it count.' He slapped the sh*t of Cody tonight. He was really, really hyped up.'
At ComplexCon last fall, Scott was gifted a custom Hardcore belt by Paul 'Triple H' Levesque and expressed his interest in getting in the ring. It is unclear if this will happen on the road to Wrestlemania 41 or at the show itself, but getting involved in Cody Rhodes' story physically is a sign that it is a strong possibility.
This was a stark shift in character for Scott, who accompanied popular superstar Jey Uso to the ring during the Monday Night Raw debut on Netflix in January. He now joins a long list of celebrities who have played the villain role, such as Pete Rose, Jon Stewart, Patrick Mahomes, Logan Paul, and more. It will be interesting to see where Scott goes from here in WWE.

Netflix is about to lose this Adam Sandler comedy movie at the worst time possible — here's your last day to stream 'Happy Gilmore'

Almost 30 years on from the original's release, Netflix is about to drop a sequel to Adam Sandler's comedy favorite, "Happy Gilmore." Yes, everyone's fave unorthodox golfer entered the Tour Championship way back in 1996, but he's coming out of retirement on July 25 for the streaming service's legacy sequel, "Happy Gilmore 2." Anticipation is building, as fans have sent Happy's original outing to the top 10 on Netflix. So, with hype there, and the impending sequel, now feels like it'd be a pretty bad time for Netflix to lose the original "Happy Gilmore" movie, right? Well, unfortunately, that's exactly what's about to happen. Thanks to a warning that's flagged on the movie's listing page, we know that "Happy Gilmore" is leaving Netflix soon. If you're planning your viewing, your last day to stream "Happy Gilmore" on Netflix U.S. is Thursday, July 31. That's just a handful of days after the sequel drops, so if you want to stream both films back to back, you'll only have a very small window to do so on Netflix. And if you haven't seen the original Sandler comedy before, here's a little more info about the film to help you decide whether to bump it up your watchlist or not. What is 'Happy Gilmore' about? Dennis Dugan's sports comedy "Happy Gilmore" follows Adam Sandler's titular dreamer. Happy hopes to become an ice hockey player, but even though he's developed a powerful slapshot, his temper and ice skating skills prevent him from making it big. When he discovers that his grandmother owes the IRS a lot of money and is at risk of losing her home, Happy discovers that his slapshot could be put to use in an entirely different sport altogether: golf. Mentored by Chubbs Peterson (Carl Weathers), Happy sets out to dominate the sporting world to try and earn enough money to pay off his grandmother's debts. In addition to Sandler and Weathers, "Happy Gilmore" also stars Christopher McDonald as Happy's rival, Shooter McGavin, Julie Bowen as Virginia Venit, Frances Bay as Happy's grandmother, plus Ben Stiller, Will Sasso, Bob Barker, Allen Covert, Richard Kiel, and more. Should you stream 'Happy Gilmore' before it leaves Netflix? Reviews for "Happy Gilmore" are somewhat divided. At the time of writing, the movie holds a 63% critics' score on the review aggregate platform, Rotten Tomatoes. The site's consensus reads: "Those who enjoy Adam Sandler's schtick will find plenty to love in this gleefully juvenile take on professional golf; those who don't, however, will find it unfunny and forgettable." Reviewing for Empire, Darren Bignell gave the movie a 3-star rating, writing: "Sandler becomes more personable as the film progresses, and there's a couple of truly side-splitting scenes. And there's a nice edge to the McEnroe-style histrionics because, at the end of the day, it's exactly what most spectators would really love to see on the fairway." The Washington Post's Richard Harrington, meanwhile, said at the time: "'Happy Gilmore' may not be an ace in the hole, but it beats par by a long shot." Roger Ebert, however, wasn't so fond of Sandler's comedy. "Happy Gilmore" earned a 1.5-star rating from the critic, who said: "'Happy Gilmore' tells the story of a violent sociopath. Since it's about golf, that makes it a comedy," and argued it was "the latest in the dumber and dumbest sweepstakes" at the time.. Admittedly, it's been a long time since I revisited "Happy Gilmore" myself, but I do remember getting a few laughs at Happy's antics. It's not my favorite comedy by any stretch, but I'm sure there's still some laughs to be had, if you can get a kick out of Happy's explosive temper (and you don't mind all the brand-name dropping). The fan score is significantly higher, currently sitting at 85% (based on over 250,000 ratings). Take a quick scroll through audience reactions logged on the site, and you'll see a wide range of scores, from plenty of 5-star reviews and fans labelling it a "classic" (even if there are some less-than-stellar reactions, too). All told, if you're convinced by the audience reactions, you know you like Sandler's brand of comedy and/or you're excited for the sequel, then you probably have your answer: yes, you should stream "Happy Gilmore" on Netflix before it disappears. Netflix has announced everything coming to the streaming service in July 2025, and there are some heavy hitters. It wasn't too hard to find five must-watch shows and movies that you need to add to your watchlist. First up is "The Old Guard 2." This superhero movie is the sequel to 2020's "The Old Guard," which we ranked number 78 on our list of the top 100 superhero movies. Starring Charlize Theron and Uma Thurman, it's undoubtedly the top title this month. Then there's "The Sandman" season 2, which is arriving in three waves this month for a bittersweet series finale. If you watched the first season of the DC Comics adaptation in 2022, you'll know that this show isn't one to miss. Aside from these top picks, I've got the full slate of everything new to Netflix this month listed below. Plus, we have a roundup of what's leaving Netflix in July 2025, so you have one last chance to watch. Here's everything coming to — and leaving — Netflix this month. New on Netflix in July 2025: Top picks 'The Old Guard 2' "The Old Guard 2" has Charlize Theron reprising as Andromache of Scythia (known to her friends as Andy). She's the leader of a group of immortal soldiers who are mercenaries for hire. But immortality gives you a lot of time to make enemies, and Andy has made a powerful one in Quyhn (Ngô Thanh Vân) — a fellow immortal whom Andy left to drown for eternity 500 years early. Quyhn has finally escaped her watery prison, though, and she's looking for payback. She's not the only one targeting Andy and her soldiers, either. Discord (Uma Thurman) is hunting her down and she's the first of the immortals, so there's no tougher foe out there. Stream on Netflix starting July 2 'The Sandman' season 2 "The Sandman" was a favorite of a few of us here at Tom's Guide (myself included) when it came out in 2022. So when it was renewed relatively quickly later that year, I was excited for more. Since that announcement, though, Netflix has also decided to cancel the show, making season 2 its final season. This was in no small part due to the allegations of sexual assault against Neil Gaiman, who created "The Sandman" and was an executive producer on the Netflix series. Despite this bittersweet ending, it does look like Netflix spared no expense for Lord Morpheus's (Tom Sturridge) last hurrah, and the trailer brings back some familiar faces. I'm personally most excited for the return of The Corinthian (Boyd Holbrook), who was the main villain of season 1. Volume 1 drops six episodes on July 3, with Volume 2 dropping the final five episodes of season 2's main storyline on July 24. A series finale special episode will arrive on July 31, bringing the show to a close. Stream Volume 1 on Netflix starting July 3 'Too Much' "Too Much" stars Megan Stalter as Jessica, who leaves New York for London after a bad breakup. There, she meets Felix (Will Sharpe), an indie musician who is not the Hugh Grant type she was hoping to meet, but he might just be the right person for her right now. This show was one of my most anticipated Netflix shows of 2025 when the year started, and it still is. Stalter has been great in "Hacks," I've loved Sharpe in "The White Lotus" season 2 and "A Real Pain and while show creator Lena Dunham isn't always everyone's favorite, there's no denying that she's created brilliant TV before. Stream on Netflix starting July 10 'Happy Gilmore 2' "Happy Gilmore" is likely on Adam Sandler's Mount Rushmore of greatest performances. The ice hockey player turned professional golfer was iconic in the 90s and it still is today. At least, that seems to be what Netflix is counting on, as "Happy Gilmore 2" looks like more of the same as the first movie based on the official trailer. This sequel is set 30 years after winning the Tour Championship in the first movie, and has a retired Happy needing to return to golf to pay for his daughter Vienna's (Sunny Sandler) ballet school. But a familiar face in Shooter McGavin (Christopher McDonald) is standing in Happy's way, and is on a quest to take back his title. Stream on Netflix starting July 25 'Untamed' "Untamed" is a new Netflix miniseries created by Mark L. Smith, who most recently was part of the team behind "American Primeval," a miniseries from Peter Berg that debuted on Netflix earlier this year. So it's safe to say that the creative team behind this new thriller set in Yellowstone National Park has some familiarity with the expanse of the wild American West. In this murder mystery, a woman's death in the national park has federal agent Kyle Turner (Eric Bana) looking for answers. To find them, he will need to go into the depths of the park, where the only laws that rule are the laws of nature. Netflix's new crime thriller just became one of my most anticipated movies of the summer — and you need to watch the gripping trailer now

She's due on the big screen next week as part of Marvel's new 'Fantastic Four' reboot, and then just a few weeks later, she's headlining a buzzy new crime thriller movie on Netflix. Premiering on the world's most popular streaming service on August 15, the film in question is called 'Night Always Comes.' The movie is described as 'a propulsive odyssey of survival' by Netflix, and now that we have a trailer, it's very quickly become one of my most anticipated new releases of the summer. The trailer is a mere two minutes long, but it gives us a pretty detailed look at the movie, and let's just say it's got me adding the movie to my watchlist almost a month ahead of time. That's the hallmark of a very good trailer. We see Kirby playing Lynette, a desperate but resourceful woman given a single night to scrounge up $25,000 to keep her family from being evicted, and her entire world falling apart. With the clock ticking, Lynette is forced to go to extreme lengths to get the money needed to secure her future. Based on Willy Vlautin's 2021 novel of the same name, and directed by Benjamin Caron, 'Night Always Comes' also stars Jennifer Jason Leigh, Zack Gottsagen, Stephan James, Julia Fox, Eli Roth, Randall Park and Michael Kelly. I'm especially excited to see Gottsagen appear in the cast list after his excellent performance in 2019's 'The Peanut Butter Falcon.' 'Night Always Comes' on Netflix — here's everything you need to know Alongside this intense first trailer, Netflix has also released a Tudum blog post giving us more details about the upcoming crime thriller movie. This includes an official logline: "'Night Always Comes' follows Lynette (Kirby), a woman who risks everything to secure the house that represents a future for her family. On a dangerous odyssey through a single night, Lynette is forced to confront her dark past in order to finally break free.' The Netflix original flick has been written by Sarah Conradt, who penned last year's underrated thriller 'Mothers' Instinct' starring Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain, and it represents a reunion for Kirby and Caron, who previously collaborated on the popular 'The Crown' series. 'What drew me to the film was its exploration of survival and sacrifice and the idea of quiet heroism,' said Caron. 'It asks the question, 'Who gets to feel safe, and at what cost?'' Filmed and set in Portland, Oregon, the movie takes place over a single night, which should give the thriller a real sense of momentum and add to the intensity as the clock is always ticking. Plus, Kirby received an Oscar nomination for her last Netflix project, 'Pieces of a Woman,' and is also producing in this one, so I'm pretty confident in the final result. On Kirby's performance, Caron said, 'Vanessa brings a beautifully wild energy to Lynette, making the character unpredictable and deeply, deeply human. Together, we worked on creating a character who is simply not just reacting to the world, but desperately trying to wrest control of her future, even as she teeters on the edge of self-destruction.' Between its hooky premise, best-selling source material, and strong cast list, it definitely seems like 'Night Always Comes' has all the ingredients to be a Netflix hit next month, and it could be the streaming service's best shot this year of picking up some major award nominations. As noted, 'Night Always Comes' arrives on Netflix on August 15, and I'm ready to add it to my watchlist right now. If the basic setup doesn't sell you on this movie, then the gripping new trailer is sure to tip you over the edge. I've got a feeling this one could be among Netflix's best originals of the year.
