Watch: WWE takes fans behind the scenes in 'Unreal' trailer

Yahoo17-07-2025
July 17 (UPI) -- WWE pulls the curtain back and takes fans behind the scenes in the latest trailer for the upcoming Netflix documentary series Unreal.
The trailer, released on Thursday, shows how WWE produces its weekly shows, from coming up with the storylines to how wrestlers prepare for each match.
"For people that think, 'Isn't that just a bunch of guys pretending to fight?' When you see the behind-the-scenes, I don't know how you can't fall in love with the business," WWE chief content officer and Hall of Famer Triple H says in the clip.
Triple H narrates Unreal, which also explores the decision to have longtime wrestling hero John Cena become a villain and the personal journeys of WWE's biggest stars.
"This was the biggest show of the year. I'm like freaking out and then as soon as my music plays, I'm Rhea Ripley," Ripley says.
Season 1 also features Cena, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Jey Uso, Bianca Belair, Chelsea Green, Charlotte Flair and Xavier Woods.
WWE Unreal is coming to Netflix on July 29. Netflix is the current home of WWE's weekly Raw show, which streams live every Monday at 8 p.m. EDT.

‘The Hunting Wives' fans think they caught an embarrassing onscreen blunder: ‘Had me shook'

They're on the hunt. Fans of the soapy Netflix murder drama 'The Hunting Wives' believe they've spotted a mistake onscreen. 'Of all the things that shocked me about The Hunting Wives, this is the part that really had me shook,' one TikTok posted on Saturday read. The video showed Sophie (Brittany Snow) checking her fridge in the show's first episode — which included a Kraft mac and cheese box in the freezer. 6 Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman in 'The Hunting Wives.' Netflix 6 the Mac and Cheese in the freezer. Netflix Some viewers believed this was an obvious blunder because the product should be in a pantry. 'I've been WAITING FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO BRING THIS UP,' one commenter wrote. However, others pointed out that a product placement is always intentional, and that the Kraft brand does make products for freezers, too. Now streaming, 'The Hunting Wives' is based on a 2021 novel of the same nam. The story follows Sophie (Snow), a Massachusetts woman who relocates to Texas thanks to her husband's job. There, she becomes entangled in the web of her new friend Margo Banks (Malin Akerman), the Queen Bee leader of the local community. 6 Malin Akerman and Dermot Mulroney in 'The Hunting Wives.' Netflix Margo is married to local bigwig Jed (Dermot Mulroney), and presides over a clique of moms and socialites who like shooting guns and dancing with men half their age. She also has affairs with men and women alike. Mulroney told the Post that the show is full of 'love affairs and naughty sex.' That goes for Margo and Sophie, too. Akerman, 47, told The Post that when things heated up with Sophie, the atmosphere behind the scenes was 'playful.' 6 Joyce Glenn, Brittany Snow, Katie Lowes, and Alexandria DeBerry on 'The Hunting Wives.' Netflix 6 Brittany Snow and Malin Ackerman on 'The Hunting Wives.' Netflix 'Brittany and I get along so well. She's such a lovely human. We would be sitting there kind of giggling like school girls, like, 'Oh my God, this is so crazy. What a job we have!'' 'I'm so glad it was with her, and we felt so comfortable with each other,' the 'Couples Retreat' star added. 'We'd become really good friends — and how lucky that we did end up getting along. Because sometimes you have to do scenes with people you're not as bonded with. So, of course there's some hesitation, but we always felt really well taken care of.' The wild murder mystery is causing other viewers on TikTok to proclaim, 'This show is INSANE!' 'The Hunting Wives' showrunner Rebecca Cutter told The Post, 'It's so fun, and juicy and sexy. Everyone is behaving so badly. I wanted to do an exploration of women behaving badly, unapologetic sexual conquest running rampant, and just something fun.'

This is how much money the Coldplay fan made from posting the viral video that took down a CEO

It's the concert clip that broke the internet. The woman behind the viral Coldplay concert video that exposed an office romance — and ultimately led to the CEO of a tech company stepping down — is finally speaking out. And despite the massive virality of the clip, it didn't change the financial life of the fan who shot and posted it. Grace Springer, 28, appeared on the U.K. morning show This Morning on July 21 to talk about her now-infamous TikTok from the Coldplay show at Gillette Stadium. The clip shows a couple getting cozy on the kiss cam, then awkwardly ducking out of sight as frontman Chris Martin jokes, 'Either they're having an affair, or they're just very shy.' The internet quickly identified the couple as Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and the company's Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot; both are married to other people. As the clip racked up millions of views and headlines around the world — not to mention a truly formidable volume of memes — Byron was placed on leave and the company launched a formal investigation. Shortly after, he resigned. For Springer, it turns out, all the viral fame hasn't translated into a single paycheck. 'I've actually made no money from the video itself or the views,' she said on This Morning. 'It's not monetized.' Springer emphasized she never intended to create a scandal — but doesn't regret posting the video. 'There was over 50,000 people [at the concert], and I'm not the only one that caught it on camera,' she said. 'If it wasn't me who uploaded it, I'm sure someone else would have.' Still, she says, her thoughts on the matter are sympathetic. 'I definitely feel for Andy's wife, Megan,' she said. Solve the daily Crossword
