Celeb SAS star needs surgery after ripping vulva in one of show's worst injuries

Metroa day ago
This series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins features one of the most excruciating – and arguably worst ever – injuries in the show's history, with X Factor star Lucy Spraggan revealing she tore her vulva.
Singer Lucy opened up about the agonising injury ahead of the programme's continuation this weekend, explaining that she was left bleeding with a rip so severe that she is undergoing reconstructive surgery.
The 34-year-old's wound was caused by a harness during a stunt and due to the level of bleeding and intensity of the show, she recalled her 'dignity had gone' when the doctor came over to inspect her.
'I ripped my labia – it was bad,' she told The Sun.
'That's not a common injury. Actually, genuinely, that's never been the same, so much so I'm having some surgery soon to correct it.'
Revealing she didn't 'really know even what happened' to cause the tear, Lucy's best guess is simply that the harness 'was tight'.

'I was like: 'This feels really bad. Surely there can't be anything.' And I looked and there was a tear, there was lots of blood and the doctor came over and I turned around because at that point you literally don't care about anything. Dignity has gone,' she added.
She also explained that the medic initially thought it was her leg that was bleeding before she corrected them.
Horrific as that is, it's also not the only injury the star suffered during filming for the series as she also almost knocked a tooth out, fainted and landed face-first in the sea after attempting to jump from a helicopter into a boat.
This left her with a black eye for her wedding day in June 2024 and forced her to have filler from under her eye dissolved after she 'hit the sea so hard my filler migrated to the side of my face'.
Previous gruesome injuries from across the show's series include Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson's breast implant becoming infected, Strictly Come Dancing star Pete Wicks knocked himself unconscious and breaking ribs and former soap star Jennifer Ellison puncturing her spleen.
Meanwhile Jake Quickenden was rushed into emergency surgery after tendons in his shoulder were 'ripped off the bone' and politician Matt Hancock infamously suffered from trench foot.
The 2025 edition of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins kicked off in dramatic style this month, with two participants quitting during the opening episode.
The famous faces were pushed straight into action as they were forced to plunge 26ft into the water and dash towards a speedboat to pick them up.
This proved S Club star Hannah Spearritt's undoing as, looking visibly ill ahead of the second task, she handed in her armband to the directing staff with the words: 'I'm done, I'm sorry, I've reached a point.'
Following hot on her heels was TV dancer Louie Spence, for whom the second task – to rescue three hostages from a building before blowing it up with a grenade – pushed him a step too far and he quit. More Trending
In the second episode, Love Island contestants Tasha Ghouri and Chloe Burrows, also voluntarily withdrew.
Remaining participants being guided through gruelling challenges by the elite team of ex-Special Forces soldiers, Chief Instructor Billy Billingham and his team of Directing Staff (DS) – Foxy (Jason Fox), Rudy Reyes and Chris Oliver – include Traitors winner Harry Clark, Rebecca Loos, Drag Race UK star Bimini Bon-Boulash, former Love Islander Adam Collard and former footballer Troy Deeney.
This year's series was shot in Wales, the home of the first phase of SAS selection in real life.
Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins continues on Sunday at 9pm on Channel 4.

Scarlett Moffatt finally tying the knot with policeman fiancé two years after proposal

Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt has confirmed when it is she plans on tying the knot with her policeman fiance Scott Dobinson after being linked to a return to I'm A Celebrity Scarlett Moffatt has opened up about her wedding plans with her partner Scott Dobinson. The Gogglebox star got engaged to her policeman beau in 2023, five months after they welcomed their baby son Jude. ‌ At the time she gave fans an insight into the romantic proposal as she shared a picture of Jude sat beside an illuminated sign that said: "Marry me." The scene included silver and purple helium-filled balloons around the room, with rose petals scattered all over the floor. ‌ Now, talking in a new interview, Scarlett has provided an update on the couple's wedding plans as she gets to work with a campaign for M&Ms. She said: 'Do you know what, we've actually been to see a few venues." It comes after Cat Deeley found moving back to the UK 'really hard' before split from Patrick Kielty. ‌ Speaking to The Sun Scarlett continued: 'And I actually did book to go and try a wedding dress on and Scott was like, 'but we haven't booked a venue.' And I was like 'yeah I know, but I just want to play dress up.' 'It's the fun part! But yeah, we've got lists and lists of things to do, and it changes every day.' Quizzed on when the couple might tie the knot Scarlett confirmed: 'I'm hoping to do it next year but maybe that's too adventurous? It takes a lot to plan a wedding, but I've got this in the bag.' ‌ Scarlett has previously admitted that she wanted an extravagant Willy Wonka themed wedding, but she has now decided against that elaborate plan. Speaking in an interview before she got engaged she said: "I've always, always wanted a massive wedding, now I keep saying: 'Let's go to Vegas.'" Scarlett has recently been linked to an appearance on an All Stars version of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! with filming scheduled to take place in South Africa later this year. The series will be hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly and air next year which will coincide with the 10 year anniversary of Scarlett being crowned Queen of the jungle. She said: 'I mean, it would be amazing to do [All Stars] because it's iconic and I just love the show so much. I was on it a whole decade ago, so I would've been in my early 20s and I'm a different human now. So I would do the trials differently. But I'd just go in and be myself, and that's the only thing you can do.' ‌ She continued: 'I'm not sure about smashing the trials, but I'd give them my best shot. But as I've gotten older my fear levels have gone up. I can't even get on rollercoasters now.' Earlier this year an insider told The Sun: 'Scarlett won I'm A Celeb in 2016 and was hugely popular with viewers so everyone's really excited she might be returning for the new all stars series. She is so game for a laugh and knows what to expect in terms of the Bushtucker Trials so she'll throw herself into every task. 'Scarlett is a mum now too and she wants to do the show to show her little boy just how brave she can be. The series is shaping up to be one of the most exciting TV shows of next year and some of the stars they're speaking to are proper camp legends. 'This is an amazing opportunity for her and let's face it, who wouldn't fancy a trip to South Africa? Even if she does have to chomp down on some kangaroo testicles?'

Fresh Strictly drug allegations as 10-year show veteran claims he was offered cocaine by one of it stars at wild party

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) STRICTLY has been hit by fresh drug allegations from a former veteran worker on the show — including claims he was offered cocaine by one of its stars. The whistleblower, who worked on the family hit for ten years until 2023, said he saw 'partying' at the Elstree studios after live filming. He claimed on two separate occasions bags of white power, suspected to be cocaine, were found in a smoking area and also in the men's toilets. And the ex-production crew member alleges one of the Strictly stars offered him cocaine at a Blackpool show after-party. We have passed on his allegations to the BBC. It comes after The Sun on Sunday revealed last week The Sun on Sunday revealed last week the BBC had launched an inquiry into allegations of cocaine abuse on Strictly by two stars. BBC bosses have hired external lawyers Pinsent Masons to speak to former contestants, professional dancers and crew. We told how one star accused another of being 'off their face' on drugs. And a celebrity had told how it was 'well known on the show that two stars took cocaine . . . it was talked about widely among the cast'. Now, in the latest claims, the long-serving former production crew member, told The Sun on Sunday: 'Strictly is full of partying and drug -taking. BBC launches inquiry into damning allegations of drug consumption on flagship show Strictly Come Dancing 'The main partying is on site at Elstree after filming of the live show has finished. Boozing and drug taking goes on until 3am, sometimes 4am. 'The smoking area outside is a hive of activity. Cocaine gets taken there. 'I remember a bag of cocaine was found in the outside smoking area at Elstree and handed in to a senior producer. That person said, 'Leave it on my desk', no eyebrows were raised. 'On another occasion, a small bag of cocaine was found in the male toilets at Elstree. It was widely discussed by people working on the show. 'But in some ways it was seen as quite normal, to find that sort of thing. "People think they can get away with it.' Strictly is full of partying and drug taking Whistleblower The whistleblower came forward after reading our story last Sunday and learning of the BBC-led inquiry. He claimed the annual show filmed at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom was 'a particularly big celebration' for the cast and crew. He said: 'Blackpool was always a big party night. I was offered cocaine by a star at an after-show party. Lots of people would go back to the hotel. 'It was a closed-off party, just for the cast and crew. It went on until 5am, even to 6am, it was insane. People were wired and you could see it in their eyes. 'There was lots of champagne and Prosecco too, loads of bottles of it.' He added that he thought it was 'well known' on the programme that one of the stars took cocaine, and that he felt they needed help. He said: 'They had a real problem with cocaine, lots of people spoke about it.' Referring to these latest allegations, a BBC spokesman said: 'We have clear protocols and policies in place for dealing with any serious complaint raised with us. 'We would always encourage people to speak to us if they have concerns.' 3 The BBC is preparing to air its 23rd series of Strictly next month Credit: BBC Last night, a BBC source said they would look into the ex-worker's allegations and asked us to put him in touch with them — after the former worker said he was considering talking to the investigation team. It came as the BBC is prepared to launch its 23rd series of Strictly next month. The Corporation is hoping for a scandal-free show after previous ones were hit by numerous controversies. They included Sherlock actress Amanda Abbington accusing Giovanni Pernice of bullying her and Graziano Di Prima being sacked for kicking his celebrity partner Zara McDermott. Last weekend, The Sun on Sunday revealed drugs allegations were made in a legal submission to the BBC in March, by law firm Russells, on behalf of celebrity contestant Wynne Evans — who was axed from the Strictly live tour after he was recorded making an inappropriate sexual comment. It was understood others have also reported to the BBC allegations of drug taking on Strictly. A source said: 'It's been an extremely difficult time for everyone connected to Strictly but, to be fair, the BBC acted promptly on The Sun's drug allegations and brought in external lawyers to help with their investigation. 'They're clearly determined to clean up the show, which of course is a hugely popular family show, so it's no real surprise they are taking these allegations seriously and holding a proper inquiry. 'With the new Strictly series about to start, and the latest crop of celebrities being unveiled soon, the BBC will want it all to run smoothly.'

MAFS UK star Rozz Darlington gives birth after ill-fated wedding and reveals sweet name

Married at First Sight star Rozz Darlington has welcomed a baby girl with her partner Jordan Morris, two years on from her ill-fated wedding on the E4 show Married At First Sight star Rozz Darlington his given birth to a baby girl. The florist, 30, first became known when she met and married Thomas Kriaras on the E4 reality show in 2023, memorably arriving to her own nuptials on a tractor. The pair did not stay together, and Rozz later struck up a relationship with Jordan Morris. ‌ The pair have been together for over two years, and on Saturday, she announced that she and her partner have welcomed a daughter. Alongside a snap of herself, Jordan and the newborn in a hospital bed, she wrote on Instagram: "A baby Girl!!! Arabella Morris - Darlington has arrived! 8th August weighing 6lb 10! We are so in love." ‌ MAFS co-star Adrienne Naylor said: "Aww congratulations," whilst fellow bride Sophie Brown said: "wahhhhh huge congrats!" Several fans of the TV star also flooded the comments section of her post with their wellwishes, with one writing: "Congratulations to you all, beautiful name, beautiful baby xx", and another said: "Aww you did it! What a gorgeous little angel" and embellished their comment with a heart eyes emoji. It comes after a Strictly Come Dancing star pulls out of show as he makes career announcement. ‌ Earlier this year, Rozz made the surprise announcement that she was expecting with an adorable video on social media. Alongside the video, Rozz said: "We've been keeping a secret!! Baby Morris - Darlington Due August. A crazy start to 2025!" Rozz and Thomas endured rocky time on the show together after they said their vows decided to call it a day before the series was done. The TV star moved on with Jordan, thanks to a little help from her neighbour. Recounting the sweet start of their love story, Rozz shared: "I was out with my neighbour in Manchester and she said, 'My cousin just messaged saying, are you out with Rosaline Darlington?' I then thought he's cute and added him on Instagram." ‌ Rozz and Jordan went Instagram official in June last year, yet Rozz confessed that going public was nerve-wracking, as she worried about potential negative reactions towards Jordan due to her relationship drama with Thomas. She told OK!: "At first I was like, 'Oh God, what are people going to be like?' "But people have been generally nice towards Jordan since we went Instagram official. I've had a few comments, but people just form their opinion of you as long as it's hate towards me and not him," she said. ‌ "For me, Thomas is the nation's sweetheart and he is amazing, people do love him, so I didn't want anyone to be rude towards Jordan or for him to receive any hate." Rozz added: "He's not like Thomas, but I was apprehensive because people judge others and I wanted to protect Jordan from all of that. I put myself out there in the public eye, Jordan didn't, so it's very difficult. But you've just got to do what's right for you. Time moves on, people heal and people change." Rozz recalled how romance blossomed between her and Jordan after they enjoyed a date night out in Cheshire at the start of the year. "It was dead relaxing and chilled it was just silly from the get-go," she told the outlet. "On the show, I was quite guarded and scared of falling in love when it came down to it, but it's been easy. We've both got the same sense of humour, we're quite silly, we don't take each other too seriously and I feel like personality is a huge part. You want someone to be like your best friend."
