After some rough seasons to start his NFL career, Baker Mayfield has become the best version of himself with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the last two seasons.
He made the Pro Bowl in both of the last two seasons while taking the Buccaneers to the playoffs in 2023 and 2024, and the memories of him struggling to put it all together as a member of the Cleveland Browns a few years ago are slowly fading.

The quarterback announced on Instagram that he will be hosting a football camp for children, and his wife Emily reposted the story without a reaction.

Baker Mayfield was the No. 1 pick in the 2018 draft by the Browns, and some expected him to become a legitimate superstar while elevating the Browns from the league's basement.
While he had his moments, he never played well consistently, and after the 2021 season, they traded for three-time Pro Bowler Deshaun Watson, which caused him to ask to be traded.
He was traded to the Carolina Panthers, who released him midway through the 2022 campaign, and when Tampa Bay took a flyer on him prior to the following season, it looked like he had been granted his final chance to prove his worth.

But in two seasons with Tampa Bay, he threw for 8,544 yards and 69 touchdowns. Last season, he notched 4,500 passing yards and 41 passing touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his pass attempts. He was third in the NFL in passing yards and pass completion percentage and second in passing touchdowns.

The Buccaneers have added some young talent through the draft, as well as veteran pass rusher Haason Reddick, this offseason, which has led some to believe that they could be a dark horse Super Bowl contender this fall and winter.

The inaugural inclusion of flag football at the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles might convince Tom Brady to come out of retirement - again. Mahomes will be 32 years old at the start of the 2028 Summer Olympics. Brady will be 50. While Mahomes might be on the sidelines, other current NFL players gushed about the potential opportunity to participate. 'Flag football players may be upset at me for this, but yes, I would absolutely love it,' Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jonestold ESPN last month. 'Every other sport gets an opportunity to win a gold medal, and if you're not serving your country in the military, I feel like that's the other highest honor that you can represent your country in.' Jones' teammate, wide receiver Justin Jefferson, said the idea of playing in the Olympics is one he will 'have to weigh in a little bit.''
