Chandrababu Naidu proposes formation of sub-groups on GDP growth, population management and tech-driven governance at NITI Aayog Governing Council meet
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu proposed the formation of three focused sub-groups of States in collaboration with the Central government and the 10th NITI Aayog to fast-track progress toward Viksit Bharat @2047.
Participating in the NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting in New Delhi on Saturday, Mr. Naidu said the first sub-group should be on GDP growth aimed at boosting investments, exports, manufacturing and job creation with Viability Gap Funding support from the Centre for PPP projects.
He suggested that the second sub-group be on population management working out ways to help India leverage its demographic advantage while preparing for future challenges like ageing and low fertility.
The third one should be focused on technology-driven governance, utilizing Artificial Intelligence, quantum computing, drones, and digital platforms for realtime, citizen-centric administration.
The Swarna Andhra @2047 vision offers a scalable, inclusive model for national development and it was rooted in family-centric governance, innovation, digital infrastructure and sustainability, he observed.
The CM reaffirmed the State's commitment to lead by example in driving national transformation through strong, coordinated leadership at both the State and the Union levels.
He praised India's remarkable rise over the past decade under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting India's rise from the world's 10th to 4th largest economy, on track to become the 3rd largest by 2047.
Reforms like Digital India, GST, Startup India, PM Gati Shakti, and Jal Jeevan Mission have redefined India's development landscape, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister asserted. He insisted that the State was committed to contributing significantly to the national aspiration of Viksit Bharat @2047 — a $30 trillion economy marked by high- quality infrastructure, equitable development and empowered citizens.
Under its Swarna Andhra @2047 vision, A.P. targeted to achieve Zero Poverty by 2029 through the innovative P4 model, which unites government, private sector, and citizens' efforts to support vulnerable families and promote economic upliftment. Mr. Modi was all praise for A.P.'s growth blueprint and advised all States to examine and study the reforms being implemented by A.P., according to official sources.

Ensure 15L ‘Bangaru Kutumbalu' are adopted by Aug 15: CM
Undavalli Camp Office: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has set an ambitious target for officials, directing them to ensure that 15 lakh families in Andhra Pradesh are adopted by 'Margadarsis' (mentors) under the Zero Poverty P4 mission by August 15 this year. He emphasised the urgent need to accelerate both the registration of Margadarsis and the adoption process. Addressing a review meeting on the 'Zero Poverty P4' initiative at his Undavalli camp office on Wednesday, the Chief Minister reiterated that the P4 model is an extension of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) policy, which was introduced following economic reforms. During the meeting, he also instructed that the Smart Andhra Pradesh Foundation be restructured and renamed as the Swarna Andhra P4 Foundation. Naidu highlighted the Amaravati land pooling model as a prime case study for the P4 approach, noting how it enabled wealth creation for 29,000 farmers by making them partners in the capital's development. In a similar vein, he urged each Margadarsi to adopt a 'Bangaru Kutumbam' (Golden Family) and actively work towards their upliftment. The Chief Minister announced that he would personally review the progress of the P4 initiative every 10 days. He also reviewed various P4 logo designs presented by officials. Officials informed the Chief Minister that several organisations, including Milaap, Project DEEP, Rang De and Bhargo, have expressed their willingness to collaborate as partners in the effective implementation of the P4 initiative. According to data presented to the Chief Minister, out of the 19,15,771 families registered as 'Bangaru Kutumbalu' across the State, Margadarsis have currently adopted 70,272 families. Among these adopted families, the largest proportion belongs to the BC community (26,340 families), followed by SCs (14,024 families) and STs (13,115 families).

June 4 created history in AP politics: CM Naidu
Vijayawada: On completion of the first year of TDP-led NDA's victory in Andhra Pradesh Assembly polls, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday said June 4, 2024, was the day that created history in the state politics. "The day when dictators were swept away by the people's revolution. The day the people drove away, the madness that had been unleashed in the name of power. The day when the psycho regime came to an end and every citizen enjoyed freedom and peace," the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president posted on 'X'. Naidu recalled that it was the day when democracy was restored in the state by people who voted as a movement. He said it was a day when the state, hurt by state terrorism, was placed in the hands of the coalition and ushered in welfare, development, and good governance, a day when the state won with the struggle of the yellow soldiers, the movement of the Jana Sainiks, and the support of the BJP. The Chief Minister said the coalition government is working every day by treating the power given by the people a year ago as a responsibility to rebuild the state. "To fulfil the hopes and aspirations of the people and to live up to the trust they placed in us, we have strengthened the governance, provided welfare and put the development back on rails," Naidu wrote. The CM stated that on the occasion of the completion of a year of the one-sided verdict given to change the direction of the state and recalling the victory, he bows his head before the people. "We promise to undertake many more development and welfare programs in the next four years. Congratulations and thanks to the workers and leaders of the Telugu Desam, Jana Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party, who paved the way for the victory of the alliance with their uncompromising fight against the destructive rulers," he added.
