‘Declare war on Pakistan': Disha Patani's sister Khushboo Patani drops fiery response to Pahalgam terror attack; watch video
In the wake of the deadly Pahalgam terror attack, following reactions from Bollywood celebrities, actress Disha Patani's sister, Khushboo Patani, who is also a former Indian Army officer, shared a fiery message on Wednesday, urging India to declare war on Pakistan.
Patani shared the video hours after the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, that claimed 26 lives. She shared a couple of videos on the same, stating that the time for peace is over and India must now wage war against Pakistan and end it once and for all, reported Free Press Journal.
What did Khushboo Patani say in her video?
On Wednesday, Khushboo Patani took to her Instagram stories and shared that she was in the Indian Army and was posted in Kashmir for two years. 'I have seen Pahalgam, I know the nooks and corners of that place. We need to stop saying this was a terrorist attack. This is the Pakistani army's doing,' she said.
She went on to say, 'They say war should be the last option, and I think we have reached that point. We have been tolerating these Pakistanis for 75 years now, and that's enough.' She said she believes that the Pakistan army is completely involved in this; otherwise, how is such a big attack even possible?, she questioned.
'India must declare war against Pakistan'
Khushboo continued that she is sure some action would be taken by the Prime Minister, but questioned how long air strikes and surgical strikes would continue to be relied upon. She stated that a proper war should now be declared, as it is done by other countries to save their own country and people. 'It's time for a proper war now.'

"Being a part of the Indian Army, as an ex-major, I know for a fact that we have enough resources to declare war on Pakistan. These things should not be taken lightly. Time for negotiations and peace talks is over. Their whole game is jihad. Pakistanis just don't like Indians, irrespective of any religion," she stated.
She concluded by saying, "I am furious and my blood is boiling. The way they have killed innocent lives, now their lives should also be killed," she concluded her message.'
Khushboo's video quickly went viral on social media and received widespread support online.

'Criminal betrayal of our soldiers': Congress slams Modi Govt over 'failing' to isolate Pakistan
The Congress on Saturday (June 7, 2025) alleged that the Modi government has failed to isolate Pakistan on the global stage after the Pahalgam terror attack, calling it a "criminal betrayal" of Indian soldiers and citizens. Congress' head of media and publicity department, Pawan Khera, said instead of strong action against Pakistan, China armed it with fifth-generation jets and missiles and the World Bank and the ADB gave more aid to the neighbouring country. He claimed that the UN Security Council also named Pakistan Vice-Chair of the Anti-Terrorism Committee, just days after the terror attack on Indian soil. "After the brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam, we expected strong actions and global isolation of Pakistan, but what has actually happened? "China is arming Pakistan with 40 fifth-generation stealth J-35A fighter jets armed with cutting-edge PL-17 missiles. Azerbaijan is investing $2 billion in purchasing 40 Pakistani JF-17 fighter jets," Mr. Khera said. "The World Bank has pledged USD 40 billion for Pakistan's development. The IMF approved USD 1 billion bailout to Pakistan. Russia has signed a USD 2.6 billion agreement to rebuild a steel plant in Karachi," he said in a post on X. Khera also claimed that Kuwait and the UAE have relaxed visa rules and offered 10 billion-dollar investment deals and Pakistan has joined the China International Mediation Organization, gaining greater influence in Asian diplomacy. "The UN Security Council has named Pakistan Vice-Chair of the Anti-Terrorism Committee, just days after a terror attack on Indian soil! "This is not just a diplomatic failure. It is a criminal betrayal of our soldiers and citizens," Mr. Khera said. Another Congress leader Renuka Chowdhury said in a post that IMF gave $1 billion to Pakistan on May 9, the World Bank decided to give $40 billion to Pakistan soon after Operation Sindoor and ADB gave $800 million to Pakistan on June 3, even though the ADB president met PM Modi on June 1. "Have we failed in our Foreign Policy?" she asked. "Why are the 4 terrorists who indulged in Pahalgam carnage still alive and going around?" she said. "You are able to eliminate Naxals, but not able to eliminate these 4 terrorists, even after a month? Who is responsible for the intelligence failure? "151 tours, 72 countries, many hugs, kisses and gifts. Still no results. India needs answers," Chowdhury said. The Congress leader also said that a special session of Parliament was required to ask questions on US President Donald Trump's claims, more than 11 times, of "brokering a ceasefire" between India and Pakistan. "Why is PM Modi not denying his claim?" she asked.

'Speaks Like Pak Leader': BJP Slams TMC Minister For 'Vile' Remarks On PM Modi Over Op Sindoor
Last Updated: The BJP on Saturday hit out at Kolkata Mayor TMC leader Firhad Hakim for what it called a "vile and disgraceful attack" on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over Operation Sindoor. The BJP on Saturday hit out at Kolkata Mayor and Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Firhad Hakim for what it called a 'vile and disgraceful attack" on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over Operation Sindoor. BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya said that Hakim spoke like a 'Pakistani leader" when he commented that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had stopped the armed forces during Operation Sindoor 'out of fear of a big country". Attaching a video of Hakim's purported remarks, Malviya slammed the senior TMC functionary, accusing him of making a 'disgraceful attack" on the PM on the instruction of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. In the video, Hakim was heard telling reporters, 'The PM had halted the Indian Army's barrage of attacks against Pakistan out of fear of a big nation, like a 'kapurush' (coward). How can the PM claim he has done anything big? How can he take credit for Operation Sindoor?" Listen carefully to what Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim is saying —the same man who once infamously called parts of Kolkata 'Mini Pakistan" and openly harbours dreams of turning India into an Islamic under clear instructions from his leader Mamata Banerjee, he has… — Amit Malviya (@amitmalviya) June 7, 2025 'Now, under clear instructions from his leader Mamata Banerjee, he has launched a vile and disgraceful attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He shamelessly claimed that PM Modi had no role in giving Pakistan a befitting reply through Operation Sindoor. He went a step further and labelled the Prime Minister a 'coward' for observing a ceasefire and not extending Operation Sindoor further," Malviya remarked. 'Frankly, this rhetoric sounds less like an Indian leader and more like a Pakistani politician trying to belittle the Indian government and its leadership. Such statements expose the mindset of those who put partisan hate above national interest. The people of India will see through this," he added. Operation Sindoor was launched on May 7 when India targeted terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in response to the April 22 Pahalgam attack, where terrorists killed 26 people, mostly tourists, in Jammu and Kashmir. Both Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar have repeatedly rejected US President Donald Trump's claims that the United States mediated the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, noting that the truce resulted from a direct bilateral agreement between the two nations without any third-party involvement. J-K: A month after Operation Sindoor, residents in Samba return to work; situation calm on border
Samba (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], June 7 (ANI): As a month has gone by since 'Operation Sindoor', residents in Samba expressed faith in the Indian Army and said that the situation was peaceful at present and people have returned to work. A resident in Samba said, 'We are living 2 km away from the border. We have faced severe losses, and parts of drone entered our kitchen. Our windows were shattered. Now there is peace. Earlier, we were extremely frightened. PM Modi has provided a lot of benefits. He has announced the formation of new border battalions for Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier, there was continuous shelling. We will be extremely relieved once PM Modi provides us with bunkers.' He further said that they had full confidence in the Indian Army and all the drones were neutralised. 'Now the people have started working in the fields again. There is no fear,' he added. Another resident living 3 km away from the border said that the situation is now very peaceful. 'The Indian Army and BSF had destroyed the drones in the air. Now, development work is in progress. People have started working in fields,' he added. Another resident said that the terrorists' launch pad should also be dismantled in future. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that Pakistan 'saw its doomsday' on the night of May 6 during Operation Sindoor, a deep strike mission that he said left the Pakistan Army and terrorists stunned. Addressing a public gathering in J-K's Reasi, PM Modi said, 'Remember, exactly one month ago, on the night of May 6, Pakistan saw its doomsday. Now, whenever Pakistan hears the name of Operation Sindoor, it will remember its shameful defeat. The Pakistani Army and terrorists had never thought that India would attack terrorists hundreds of kilometres inside Pakistan in such a way.' He said Operation Sindoor demonstrated the strength of Aatmnirbhar Bharat and praised the armed forces for their trust in 'Make in India.' 'You have seen how Operation Sindoor has shown the power of Aatmnirbhar Bharat. Today, the world is discussing India's defence ecosystem. There is only one reason behind this. Our army's trust in Make in India. Every Indian has to repeat what the army has done,' he said. He also urged the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to actively participate in Mission Manufacturing, announced in this year's Budget. 'I want to ask the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to join this mission. Your ideas and skills will take India's economy and security to new heights,' he said. The Prime Minister also announced financial assistance for families affected by border shelling. He said houses fully damaged by cross-border shelling would receive Rs 2 lakh, while partially damaged houses would be given Rs 1 lakh. 'The suffering of more than 2,000 families affected by shelling is also our own suffering. Now, those houses which have suffered heavy damage will be given Rs 2 lakh, and those partially damaged will receive Rs 1 lakh more,' he said. (ANI)
