Season two of Netflix's Wednesday has finally landed to rave reviews, with fans getting four spine-chilling new episodes to devour, reports the Express.
The programme made its much-anticipated return after first premiering back in 2022.
Numerous fans have been left utterly baffled after the Jenna Ortega series only came back with four episodes.

No, is the short answer. There are currently just four episodes of Wednesday available on Netflix - additional ones will be dropping next month.
Wednesday season two's launch has been divided into two separate phases.
Similar to its forerunner, there's a total of eight episodes in Wednesday season two, but they're being rolled out in two portions. So fans can relax knowing further episodes are coming.
Netflix chose to divide season two of Wednesday in half, with the initial four episodes released together on Wednesday, August 6.
The latter half, consisting of episodes five to eight, arrives on Wednesday, September 3.
Speaking about the release pattern, Wednesday's co-creator Alfred Gough revealed to Forbes that the choice was "something that came from Netflix."
Nevertheless, it allowed both Gough and fellow co-creator Miles Millar to structure the storyline differently and leave fans hanging on a massive cliffhanger. Gough revealed that this fresh format allowed them to "change up the storytelling mystery" and for the first half of the season to "feel complete" in itself, rather than making audiences wait until the final eighth episode.
This release schedule is a stark contrast to the first series, when Netflix released the entire first season of Wednesday all at once.
Other programmes that have seen their seasons divided include Bridgerton's third season and Cobra Kai's sixth season, with the latter being split into three parts.
The upcoming fifth and final season of Stranger Things will also be extended over three parts spanning a few months.
Netflix has been progressively dividing the release of its major shows to sustain interest and crucially, keep subscribers on its platform.
This decision comes amidst an increasingly congested streaming market, with numerous video-on-demand platforms vying for space and subscribers.
When Netflix initially launched with its first-ever Original series House of Cards, the platform would release entire shows as a boxset for fans to binge-watch.
Seeing Netflix's success, other platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Paramount+, Disney+, and many others subsequently launched.
However, the significant difference is, many of these platforms, particularly Apple TV+, release episodes on a weekly basis to maintain their subscription base.
Netflix is likely to persist with this trend of releasing shows in parts moving forward as they strive to retain their share of the streaming market.

The first full-length trailer for The Thursday Murder Club film has offered a first look at the characters portrayed by David Tennant and Jonathan Pryce. The adaptation, based on the book series by game show host and author Richard Osman, follows a crime-busting group of retirees, played by: Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren; former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan; Calendar Girls actress Celia Imrie; and Gandhi star, Ben Kingsley. Advertisement Director Chris Columbus confirmed in an interview with entertainment news website Collider in April that Doctor Who star Tennant, 54, would play Ian, the owner of Coopers Chase retirement village, where the four retirees live, with Olivier-winning actor Pryce, 78, starring as Stephen, the husband of Dame Helen's character, Elizabeth. The trailer, which follows the release of a teaser in May, features a clip of Tennant with slicked back hair and a Dolce and Gabbana T-shirt looking angry. She also voices the character of Laura in Konami's remake of Silent Hill. In an interview with Netflix's Tudum, Templeton spoke about her belief that what you watch growing up helps to shape you. 'I think that watching movies, and especially watching things that touch on more difficult topics, definitely gives you a greater understanding of the world and helps you not just live in a bubble. It helps you become a more sympathetic, understanding, and perceptive person,' she told the outlet. Evie Templeton is 16 years old. In the interview with Netflix's Tudum, Evie detailed how she was nervous to play Agnes, but was welcomed with a collaborative approach from Tim Burton and co-creators and showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. 'They just talked about me as a person, about my idea of Agnes, and we started to build her together,' she said. 'They had a very collaborative approach throughout the whole of filming, which is amazing — to be a 15-year-old girl with that kind of involvement in building the character.' She also took part in a Zoom chemistry read with Ortega and Emma Myers, who plays Enid. Speaking about calming her nerves, Templeton said 'I listened to a little bit of Billie Eilish,' continuing, 'I tried to keep myself relaxed, did some triangular breathing, which I always try to do before auditions and performances. And then I tried to think that they were just my friends, and that I was just having a conversation with my friends, and that definitely helped. It was very surreal, though. Afterwards, I ran around my kitchen and then had to lie down.'
