Love Island's Yas and Jamie 'in big trouble' as fans 'work out' shock recoupling results

Daily Mirror3 days ago
Love Island are reportedly set to air a shock recoupling on Sunday night with three couples switching up - and fans are left fearing for favourites Yasmin and Jamie
Love Island fans think they've "worked out" which couples will switch-up in Sunday night's reported recoupling - which is set to send shockwaves through the villa.

In the shock twist, it's been reported that three Love Island couples have decided to reshuffle their couples in a tense firepit confrontation. The recoupling comes days after the return of Megan and Blu. Conor and Shakira and Harry and Helena have recently called it quits - but fans are convinced a fan favourite couple are about to go their separate ways.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their predictions as the rumours spread, one fan penned: "I think Yas & Blu," while another agreed: "I feel like producers might let blu choose before jamie n blu will choose Yasmin, harry might choose shakira and conor will be with meg."

A third worried fan commented: "I just hope hope Cach and Toni are coupled up and Blu stays away from Yas and Jamie," with a fourth writing: "If Megan and Blu pick first then she's gonna pick Connor and he might pick Yas unless he's been talking to Helena leaving Shakira stuck with Harry sighss can we free Shakira pls."
Since arriving back into the villa, Blu has set his sights on Yas, and many believed the bombshell's head could be turning away from her Casa Amor beau, Jamie. During episodes this week, Yas was seen pulling Blu for a chat, telling him she needed to be considerate of Jamie's feelings.

The two continued to engage in a flirty chat - but will they couple up?
Although the pairings are being kept a secret for now, sources suggest the switch up stems directly from the fallout of the recent explosive Grafties ceremony, which left the villa divided after secret chats between the Islanders were laid bare on a huge cinema screen.

A villa insider revealed: 'It's fair to say the fallout of the Grafties has had major repercussions. No one would've seen this recoupling coming a week ago."
The source added to The Sun: "Usually Love Island gets a little predictable in the final days but this lot are still moving mad.' The show is now racing toward its finale, scheduled for Monday, August 4, which is just ten days away. The grand finale will follow a week of heightened drama and conflict among the remaining Islanders after Shakira revealed her harbouring feelings for Harry.
With the final just over a week away, fans have been left wondering who will be taking home the £50,000 prize money. This year has seen a huge difference in previous years in the position of the couples. Usually, by this point fans would be seeing a number of solid couples - but this year, that just isn't the case.
Meg and Dejon are the only couple who are currently boyfriend and girlfriend. Harry and Helena did become exclusive - but things went downhill when he was caught flirting with Shakira.
So, who will be taking home the crown next week?

She set the record straight prior to stepping foot in the Mallorca villa LOVE Island star Toni Laites' mum has clapped back at rumours she's suing ITV after making her new TikTok account private. ITV previously confirmed the return of the very popular Meet The Family segment, set to air in the lead-up to the final. The feature, which sees Islanders reunited with their family members and friends inside the villa, has long been a staple of the series. On Tuesday, fans weren't disappointed as Leslie, dressed in a black bandeau dress adorned with a pink petal pattern came to chat to Toni and her Love Island partner, Cach. Shortly before the reunion, she took to her TikTok page to address the mounting speculation she was taking legal action against the broadcaster. The rumour started on a Love Island fan page and Leslie said: "My accounts were set to private because I had other stuff to do not because myself and Shakira's mum are suing ITV. "We are definitely not, that rumour should be put to rest immediately. "There's even a rumour that she and I were spotted in London together with an attorney, also 100 per cent fake news." Leslie added: "It is not real. Love Island star Toni's mum reveals how she really feels about Harrison's exit after hittng out at her daughter "I cant wait for you guys to see the episode and we will talk about it." She then wrapped her chat with the words: "Other than that, I just wanted to reassure you we are all good, just no lawsuit. "Hope you have a great night." Toni's mum has been a regular online commenting on the antics on the matchmaking show. She previously broke down in tears and told how she was "really disappointed" in her daughter after she left Cach and reunited with Harrison. She then told how she really felt about bombshell Harrison's exit in another clip. VILLA ENTRY On Tuesday's episode, Toni was sitting on the terrace, when suddenly she heard her mum Leslie shout: 'Is Toni here? Where's Toni?' Realising friends and family have come to visit the Villa, Toni raced down the stairs to greet her mum who had flown in from Florida. Toni's best friend Marielle also made the trip and she joked of being in the Villa: 'It's like meeting our Sims in real life!' As they caught up, talk turned to her daughter's romantic relationships in the Villa, and Leslie said: 'The Harrison thing - I'd love to know what voodoo spell he put on you.' Toni replied: 'Sometimes you have to get burned 150 times before you can't get burnt anymore.' Leslie insisted of Cach: 'You have the most amazing man. His morals, his ethics, his calm demeanour when he is confronted with a bad situation… he is my king.' Toni laughingly replied: 'No, he's my king - back off!' FAN FAVE Toni and Cach have had a bumpy romance so far on the show, hindered by Toni and Harrison's will-they-won't-they situation. Casa Amor lad Cach is now coupled up with American stunner Toni, despite his embarrassment and tears after she ditched him for Harrison at a previous recoupling. His sister then grilled Toni on making Cach cry yet despite the awkward chat, fans were elated at Leslie's appearance on-screen. They praised the American, and her reaction to Toni's man, and one wrote on Instagram: "Toni's mum is a sweetheart !! Cach deserved those words for sure." A second posted: "Toni's mum has stated EVERY FACT. Cach handled it very well. His parents must be SO SO proud." A third noted: "Toni's mum, what a beautiful woman she is." One then added: "Okay that speech from Toni's mom made me tear up a little… Cach what an incredible guy." Another surmised: "I love this and Toni's mum is so beautiful and she deserves the world." 6 Leslie told her TikTok page speculation she had met with an attorney was 'fake news' Credit: TikTok / lipglossles 6 Fans praised Leslie's reaction to Cach on the ITV2 show Credit: Eroteme

Love Island viewers left disgusted after discovering Harry's 'weird fetish'

Love Island fans flooded social media after pointing out an 'obsession' of Harry's during Monday's episode of the ITV2 dating show as he cosied up with Shakira Khan Love Island viewers have claimed that they've discovered Harry Cooksley 's 'fetish' as he cosied up with Shakira Khan during last night's show. The footballer, 30, is just days away from the final on the ITV2 dating show and in Monday night's instalment on the show, viewers watched as he took Shakira off for a chat in the dressing room. ‌ The pair recently recoupled after the Graftie awards, with Harry choosing Shakira over on/off girlfriend Helena Ford. Unpacking the recoupling, Harry told her: "That was not easy. Not in terms of who I was going to pick, but just both of you [Shakira and Helena] being stood up there." ‌ ‌ Shakira replied: "I can't believe we're back at day two, right back to where we started. Further back if that's even possible. This is no good." The pair both vowed that they would take 'baby steps' in going forward so that they could get used to the situation, and enjoyed a cuddle together. But as Harry leaned in for a kiss, Shakira turned to give him her cheek. But Harry then brought up the fact that one of them stank, and Shakira replied: "It's me, I'm ponging." An excited Harry said: "Are you? What a shame, come closer." The moment did not go unnoticed by viewers and they flooded social media with their reactions as they began to discover Harry's secret thing for armpits. One viewer wrote: "Harry's armpit obsession needs to be studied," whilst another wrote: "I thought Emma was the weirdo for the armpit thing, but it turns out Harry is the armpit fetish freak." A third said: "Harry's an actual weird man you know, wtf was that about another girls armpit you wanna smell?" whilst another declared: "Would be Harry that has an armpit fetish wouldn't it. Just makes sense." ‌ One fan did not take too kindly to learning of Harry's fetish and said: "I really didn't not need to know about Harry's armpit/smell fetish thank you very much! Like that knowledge has not improved my life a single iota!" Since the series has began, Harry has caught the eye of both Shakira and Helena, and his football club left fans outraged when they asked his pals back in the UK which woman he is better suited to. Farnham posted the results on TikTok and despite since deleting the clip, there was outrage at some of the replies from the footballers and coaches after it surfaced again. One player said: "He wants either Beyonce, or he wants Bonnie Blue" before saying Helena "would be good in bed" and offering more grim guidance. Another spoke to the camera and said: "He thinks Shakira is girlfriend material, but really, really, really wants to have sex with Helena." ‌ Even manager Paul Johnson waded in, saying: "Bin off Shakira, 100 per cent. She's a drip, nosey b***h." The comments kept on coming and a squad member went on: "Get rid of Shakira, she is as annoying as f**k" as another simply added: "I don't care, just get him back here and get him running." The clip found its way onto X and was slammed by many online. One wrote on the social media platform: "First time seeing this & I'm horrified, but not surprised! I have a 25yr old son who wouldn't dream of speaking like this about women. Who dragged up these cretins?!" Another said: "Hate it. disgusting. a sickness on society. where's antiseptic for my eyes?!" A third commented: "And people wonder why Harry acts like he does." On TikTok, someone else told the club they need to offer "serious education" for the "absolute buffoons". MirrorOnline have approached Farnham Town for comment. But other fans on social media have declared their support for the couple, with one claiming: "IF THERE IS A VOTE IM VOTING HARRY AND SHAKIRA WITH NO SHAME #LoveIsland," admitted one user. Another added: "Just watch! People will vote for Harry and Shakira," while a third said: "Yessss Harry beautiful speech, you're back in the game. Team Harry and Shakira" Love Island 2025 airs every night at 9PM on ITV2 and ITVX.

Gregg Wallace's Masterchef behaviour is branded 'disastrous' by former winner

Janet Street Porter has branded Gregg Wallace's excuse for his behaviour on MasterChef as 'disastrous' - and compared him to another BBC star in the process Janet Street Porter has labelled Gregg Wallace's justification for his conduct on MasterChef as "disastrous". The 60-year-old TV personality was dismissed from the popular BBC programme following an inquiry that upheld 45 out of 83 accusations levelled against him. ‌ The allegations ranged from unwelcome physical contact to instances of inappropriate undress. While Gregg has since expressed regret, he firmly maintains that he is "not a groper, a sex pest or a flasher". ‌ Following the launch of the investigation, Gregg disclosed his autism diagnosis. He criticised the showrunners for failing to "investigate my disability" or safeguard him from what he now perceives as a "protect me from what I now realise was a dangerous environment". ‌ In a chat with The Sun, he admitted: "I know I struggle to read people. I know people find me weird. Autism is a disability, a registered disability." He further attributed the claim that he "never wears pants" to his autism, explaining: "It's not sexualised. It's hypersensitivity - that happens with autism." ‌ However, Janet Street Porter, 78, took issue with Gregg's defence during her appearance on Times Radio. She drew parallels between the MasterChef probe and an investigation into allegations made against Russell Brand. Earlier this year, the BBC issued an apology after examining eight complaints about the former 6 Music presenter. Of these complaints, two were lodged during his tenure at the corporation. Former Celebrity MasterChef winner Janet has spoken out, saying: "Back then anybody working class, first of all you were regarded as a bit thick. He has no justification, his justification for everything has been disastrous, absolutely disastrous." ‌ She continued to draw parallels with another celebrity, stating: "He's exactly like Russell Brand, he's in his own world and they just do not see it. They do not see it. There's plenty of people like that." The BBC parted ways with both Gregg and his ex-colleague John Torode following an inquiry into their behaviour on MasterChef. The investigation, led by law firm Lewis Silkin, found merit in a complaint alleging John used racist language eight years prior. ‌ John however denies the allegation, and says he has "no recollection of the alleged incident and does not believe that it happened". Speaking in the immediate aftermath of his "sacking", John said: "Although I haven't heard from anyone at the BBC or Banijay - I am seeing and reading that I've been 'sacked' from MasterChef and I repeat that I have no recollection of what I'm accused of. He expressed disappointment over how the situation was handled, adding: "The enquiry could not even state the date or year of when I am meant to have said something wrong. I'd hoped that I'd have some say in my exit from a show I've worked on since its relaunch in 2005, but events in last few days seem to have prevented that." Despite the controversy surrounding Gregg, the BBC has announced that the new series of MasterChef will still be broadcast next month. ‌ A BBC spokesperson stated: "After careful consideration and consultation with the contestants, we have decided to broadcast the amateur series of MasterChef on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from 6 August. MasterChef is an amazing competition which is life-changing for the amateur chefs taking part. The focus of it has always been their skill and their journey." The broadcaster acknowledged the complexity of the decision, saying: "This has not been an easy decision in the circumstances and we appreciate not everyone will agree with it. In showing the series, which was filmed last year, it in no way diminishes our view of the seriousness of the upheld findings against both presenters. We have been very clear on the standards of behaviour that we expect of those who work at the BBC or on shows made for the BBC." The spokesperson continued: "However, we believe that broadcasting this series is the right thing to do for these cooks who have given so much to the process. We want them to be properly recognised and give the audience the choice to watch the series." The corporation has yet to make any announcement regarding the Christmas or celebrity versions of the programme.
